Make sure you all have your cigarettes, as recommended by physicians since 1865.

Re: Moving Right Along

I got lost who's being picked up by what where/when between all the arrangements, but wherever Bee next sees Frank she'll be excited about it, because someone who gives her - not dead partridges or something - attention at their first meeting is a new best friend.

Beezle isn't there, because George does not possess a Goat SackĀ™.

Re: Moving Right Along

The supplies will be available at the supply room tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. at the loading dock of Robert Carter Memorial Hall at the corner of College and West Streets (the building where you all met with McTavish).

Everyone was to meet there, though Dr. Bliant is cadging a cup of coffee at the Theakers. He also loaded his pack onto some random truck in front of their house.

Some GMs would.

But now I don't have a reason for riding with the Theakers instead of just crossing the campus. Absent-minded professor.

I'm too distracted these days. ...missing details.

In reply to Jason Lee Bliant, M.D. (msg # 80): Play it up as a quirk, it's great.

Of the meetup, weren't the Theakers going a bit later? Or is anyone else riding in the Beast with the gear all right with showing up after them, since we'd have to push her careful-like on those back roads?

Cat food? Christine, is this slang for tinned goods you're bringing or do the Theakers have a cat we haven't seen?

Horus and Isis - Egyptian Mau cats. Mabel Theaker bought this pair before
James and Christine were married. James is very attached to the pair and
treats them very well.  Needless to say, James cleans up the litter box,

Cats! !!!

Are they pale like that mau? I didn't know they came in grey tabby. Is Horus 'fixed', or do the Theakers do a running trade in kittens?

Of course, what else? ;-) I think they fit the lifestyle and interests of Theaker.

Oh yes! They are litter mates and are treated like family.

Both are neutered, Theaker has no plans for kitten breeding anytime soon.

Re: Moving Right Along

What good cats, and how very pleasing to know! I hope Theaker is friends with an extremely competent vet, though, seeing as female spaying would be cutting edge technology in the '20s.

So...looks like we have a classic horror film setup here, with most of the party driving on ahead of the supplies and getting lost whilst George, Frank and Scooby Bee are on their own...all we need is a sudden storm and a large house on the horizon that looks debatably like it might be abandoned until you knock...

What a great idea! Thanks!

What was rubber mask technology like in the '20s?

I edited the last post. Apparently it was a bit too early for me to write this morning and I somehow dropped a bit of flavor. It's better now, I think.

Way OOC and way out of game context/content: Has anyone had any experience with Tabletop simulator?  Any pros or cons?  I'm looking for some way to do gaming with some friends.

I played in my first online game on Zoom yesterday. It's not an ideal platform, but it served the purpose for a rules-light, diceless CoC scenario.

Re: Moving Right Along

...did Frank move, or did Christine just sit on him so he has to live there now?

Also, are the frogs supposed to be there, or does that need a Natural World roll to answer? I know there are American frogs that live in trees, but not if there are ones that live in fields without indicating a nearby ditch or trickle of fresh water, I mean.
