Game Intro and Background
Zombies. Undead. Flesh eaters. Whatever you call them, they're pretty fucking gross. Unfortunately, they also have you surrounded.

It's been two weeks since the world ended, and you are trapped with a couple other strangers in a large warehouse that you fled to as the city became more and more overrun.

Your position is fortified (for now) and you have food and water (for now), but running out will always be a concern, and with zombies hammering at the door, one that may need to be solved ASAP.

Fortunately, you're smart (enough)! You're fast (probably)! And most importantly, you're dedicated to surviving this (most likely)! And it can't be that hard to outwit a bunch of slow as fuck zombies!

The City of Port Town
A bustling city by the river where it lets out into the ocean, and a hub of transport in the country, Port Town is somewhat misleadingly named. Usually bustling and busy, it has recently fallen on hard times. Warehouses and ports have been closing, and itís just one of these places that youíve taken refuge in!

A number of large buildings dot the skyline, and a great number of smaller ones as well. Dead bodies are in view as far as the eye can see, but some of them are still moving.
The ocean borders the ports, and a large number of warehouses are nearby. Some, such as the one you are in, are on piers. Water on three sides and one road into the city makes it both defensible and a trap.

Activity
Almost constantly, the sound of gunfire echoes through the streets as pockets of the still living do their best to hold out. The sounds have been dropping off, recently, either because people are running out of ammunition, or theyíre just running low on people to shoot. More and more, though, thereís echoes of zombies groaning as they plod along the streets until they hear human activity.

The radio crackles to life sometimes, but the stations are just airing static, except for a few that are more automated, still playing music and ads.

Handheld radios get more use, and the police scanner is still blaring. Sounds like the cops have holed themselves up in the various police stations around the city, or at least it sounds like they did. They donít seem like they want to open the doors, though.
