Re: Epilogues
The MHR games on RPoL exhibit a strange synergy at times, accelerating or decelerating in tandem. It must be that we all feed off each other's creative energy or something like that.
Oh, yes, hi! I'm still alive and here. Sorry for the cobwebs, and the numerous false starts we've had. The problem with severe burn-out seems to be that you can't force your way out of it. The only solution for me right now seems to be to find myself a new line of work.
... Which I have, again! (The job training I completed last year didn't lead to what I hoped.) It would seem that your resident Watcher is headed to grad school, with the goal of becoming a mental health therapist. (It was a recent breakthrough, with Tigra and the rest of my family only finding out from me earlier this month.) I hope to take a short vacation (the first I've had since before COVID hit) after I quit my current job around May, and really get things going here again.
I have so much planned for you all that I want to share-- so much fodder for great scenes and interactions that I can't wait to spring on you all! And there's yet more hanging PM threads and things I need to follow up on. But right now it's a waiting game. I think, at the very least, I can try and keep limping this epilogue across the finish line over the next few months. (You've all done a great job with it-- now I just need to hold up my end.) It was meant to get us all to a place where, going forward, the general premise of the campaign is crystal clear. And after that, we can start the next big chapter around May. Fingers crossed.
Thanks, as always, for sticking around.
