I hope to keep the game relaxed (except combat), so there won't be a lot of rolls.  When a character performs a skill that they possess (spent three points on), rolling is only necessary when there are outside influences that increase the chance of failure.  If you've time to "relax" and pay attention to what you're doing a skill roll may not be needed.

Combat?  We'll roll for combat.  There is a LOT of role-playing in Hopper, but there will be combat.

Once you Hop to the next task/world, there will be increases to your character that are considered freebies.  You'll also get XPs at that time and at the beginning of each Hop after that.

Is there a specific kind of genre or encounter you'd like to have/explore?

I have a handful of Hops that are set in stone, a Cyberpunk/Shadowrun world, a world where Psionic powered individuals are being hunted by government elimination squads, a world of anthropomorphic animals (Carnies vs Herbies) ( this was not inspired by "Beastars" on Netflix ), a world of Super Heroes, and a couple others.

There's a book you should read.  It will give you a good insight into the "Many Worlds" theory of Quantum Mechanics.

In Search of Schrödinger's Cat: Quantum Physics and Reality
     by John Gribbin

This book, will ultimately, lead you to Hugh Everett III.  He took all the existing "Multi-verse" theories and put them together to form his "Many-Worlds Theory of Quantum Mechanics".

ALL current theories have his as their foundation.

Someone dubbed this concept, the Multi-Verse.  I call it the Infiniverse, the Hopper Infiniverse because according to his, and all following theories, there are an infinite number of Universes.
