Any thoughts on my second level wizard spells? I've been doing mostly damage dealing (2nd level upgrades: acid arrow, flaming sphere), and if we're facing orcs and especially goblins, area effect spells (snowball swarm, web) seem good. But there's also a selection of good dungeon-delving options (knock, levitate, spider climb, rope trick), roleplaying (suggestion, alter self, detect thoughts), and utility (invisibility, darkness, hold person) spells available. I'm open to suggestions if anyone wants to look over the list.

With the extra damage die for casting spells at a higher level, you could branch out of pure damage dealing.  Which of those would be most useful I have no idea, area effect?  I don't know if Jaskier has any of the ones you are looking at...

The damage bump isn't much, and it costs me those slots. I think I'll go with invisibility and hold person for utility. I feel like our damage output has been consistently adequate.

Are we allowed to take a feat rather than ability score increases?

For the factions, it's unlikely there is one that would suit everyone's character.  I'm thinking individuals can join the one of their choice and decide who to share that with.  Try to influence the group to go along with faction missions?

Are we to assume those factions are common knowledge, or do we still need to roll history?  If this is common knowledge than I need to update what I just posted.

After his time in the Lathander crusades, Bando is pretty anti-rigid organizations.  But, this Lord's Alliance sounds regional, so definitely worth exploring for influence, if nothing else.

Fuck the Harpers.  All they want to do is smoke pipeweed and redistribute other Ogre's gold.

Zanben is definitely interested in the Lords alliance and Harpers, but def not interested in the Order of the Gauntlet.

I'm okay with staying unaffiliated for now. Gwen is a little too impulsive for rigorous organizations, but she's not above freelancing for generally good allies. I mean, if they've got a problem, if no one else can help, and if they can find us...

Lord's alliance seems to be the consensus.  It might be beneficial to have a patron organization of sorts.

I just found it amusing.  Maybe there is a good reason to have a Paladin/Bard, but I don't know what that would be.  Here's an amusing article detailing the logistics of Primeval Awareness.

Is it worth trying to skin the dragon?  If we did could someone in Neverwinter make something like this at a price we could afford?

Definitely. Between Gwen's Arcana and Imbert's Survival, we should be able to harvest hide, organs, and other valuable components. Neverwinter seems like a good place to barter them, and even if we sell them for a fraction of their worth we should do well. I don't know about crafting, but I assume it is beyond our skill for now...

For 'help'; I think as long as you use your action to help, the person making the role has advantage.  So Bandalor and Zanben can help and Jaskier can inspire one of us.
