OOC
I've played a few Lightfoot Halfling Swashbucklers and, yeah, they're fantastic. Dual Wielding is pretty useful for just about any class at low levels but Halflings really make it shine. So much goodness wrapped up in such a tiny bundle. The only real downside is their limited movement speed, but you can take care of that with a Feat or a pair of magic boots.
For battle tactics; Odette is moderately tanky for a mixed caster. She's got 17 AC, 10 HP, and is focused on DEX-based melee, so she can absolutely get up in the thick of things if need be. She's a Wood Elf, so she's quick and stealthy for the sake of ambush tactics. She's also a Circle of the Moon Druid, so she'll be a lot more viable for melee immediately at Level 2 since she'll get beast forms like Dire Wolf right away.
For spells, Odette has:
Cantrips: Guidance, Produce Flame
1st Level: Faerie Fire, Goodberry, Healing Word, Ice Knife
So a little bit of everything. Guidance for utility, Produce Flame for a ranged damage cantrip, Faerie Fire for battle support, Goodberry and Healing Word for battle triage, and Ice Knife for a little extra oomph on the magical damage output. I would rather save my spell slots for support and healing, so I don't plan on using too many combat spells unless we know we're going into some nasty situation ahead of time.
