Very abstract system but not sure that matters if you play that you only need to roll when absolutely required and not for Every Little Thing.

I think a quick system is good for an online game but worry about tracking movement.

Going to use Tabletop Simulator with large hex tiles to give the rules a test run or two.
Should be able to document the results here.

There is a nice supplement called "Every Journey Begins on a Road" that is a way to ease into play.
I'll be doing that by first creating 3 Heroes and 2 Followers.

1) Owen - Avatar    ((18,3,11,3))  +1 Spe & Agi, +1+1 Will, 4 Gold Marks, 1 Skill, +1 Luck
Agility 2, Speed 5, Combat Skill 0, Toughness 3
Pathfinding If Attacked/Ambushed, roll a 5+ to turn into a Travel encounter.
Quality weapon
Full Armor

2) Telor   ((13,1,13,17)) +1 Tough, +2 Will, 5 Gold Marks, N/A
Agility 1, Speed 4, Combat Skill 0, Toughness 4
Basic weapon

Shield

Followers don't get improvements to start.

Need to figure out what weapons everyone has.

To get things stared with more that "No Encounter" I rolled 3 times and got a 94 on the third!
Roadside AND Combat Encounter
For the Roadside Encounter 16:04, Today: Oracle rolled 19 using 1d100 ((19)).

Unfriendly You are treated with disdain.
Motives     16:09, Today: Oracle rolled 77 using 1d100 ((77)).
Conspiracy The character is an enemy agent.
Randomly increase either Outlaw or Border Tension by +1.
16:11, Today: Oracle rolled 72 using 1d100 ((72)). = Border Tension +1

For the Combat Encounter   16:06, Today: Oracle rolled 98 using 1d100 ((98)).
16:13, Today: Oracle rolled 2 using 1d6 ((2)).
Border Tension is now 5 so the highest
