THE STARS OF THE STORY

Each of these five options below can be used ONCE in a campaign.

1 Brave Sir Robin
The entire war band immediately escapes from the battle.

2 A Lucky Break
A character may ignore a roll on the post-game Injury tables.

3 Unexpected Help
Roll up a new Hero character and place them within 6” of any table edge.
They join your party in the battle and may act immediately.
After the game, the character will remain as part of your war band if desired.

4 I don’t think that’s how the story went
When rolling on any random table, roll three times and pick the result you like best.

5 Did I ever tell you how I learned to do this?
Assign any Skill you like to a character or advance one of their attributes by +1.

======================
STORY POINTS

You begin the campaign with 1D6 Story Points.
(Add +1 for Adventure Challenge Level.)
Every time you clear a village of all Threat, add 1 Story Point.
If you clear a campaign area of all Threats to every village, the final village will award 1D6 bonus Story Points instead.
If a Hero dies, you may add 1 Story Point to your total.

Story Points basically allow you to inject your own ideas into the game mechanics.

The only rules governing Story Points are:
*The action must be something that can be justified by events in the game so far.

*Story Points can prevent something from happening but cannot reverse something that did happen (such as raising the dead) or kill a character (such as the enemy Leader).

*Story Points can’t affect a specific die roll after its made.

*A Story Point lets you roll twice on any game table OUTSIDE OF COMBAT and pick either result.
This must be spent before rolling.

*If a Skill allows you to roll to make something happen, a Story Point makes it happen automatically instead of rolling.
This must be spent before rolling.

*If you have made a roll for anything, a Story Point can allow a re-roll but you must accept the new result.

*When recruiting a new character, a Story Point allows you to roll on the Unusual Backgrounds table.

*Add a Hanger On to any battle.

*Have a character throw a rock as a missile attack.
This has a maximum range of 9” and is resolved as any other ranged attack.
