Community Theatre

Liam awoke to find Pockets' door open, with Robyn already at her side. Pockets hadn't looked too great before, but now she looked like some of the boys he'd seen in the hospitals Over There. And not the ones who made it. She was, at the very least, conscious. Robyn had propped her up with a gentle wedge, and was giving her another drink. Pockets gave a wave for Liam to come in, and winced hard from the pain of moving.

Liam paused with his arm against the door frame and surveyed the scene before him worriedly, though he endeavoured to put on a brave face. “Hey, Kiddo,” He said, managing a smile. “Glad to see you’re awake again. How are you feeling?”

He took a step into the room and sat down at the side of the bed.

"Ever get shot before you were embraced?" Pockets asked. "Kinda like that. At least I imagine. I can barely move."

"I'm helping her with her pain," Robyn said slowly.

"And by that she means she took a buttload of edibles and we're going to marathon Steven Universe."

"I will most likely take a nap too," Robyn mumbled. She didn't look much better than Pockets. "I was up most of the day helping the refugees. Maybe three hours of sleep. Plus I'm a couple pints low. Magically speaking I couldn't light a fart right now. Now that you're up, I'm tappin' out."

"Get some sleep," Liam said to Robyn. "I'll stay with Pockets and keep an eye on things upstairs." He too was feeling a few pints low, but he'd manage another night without feeding if it came to that.

"Nah I got 'er," Robyn said, flopping on the bed beside Pockets. "You go check on the folks outside. The yurt is up. They're fed, showered and mostly clothed. I already did a daytime grocery run - with Braaaaaaahaad." The name came out of her mouth like vomit.
