I was mostly looking at the +2 HP per level Gift along with the Con bonus.. Which I just solved by taking Excellence of the Word for Con. No sense in overlapping out Words after all.

I'm also surprised to find myself hardly touching combat gifts. Just a 'deal magical damage as your normal attack after comitting effort' gift and then a better version of the dispelling miracle. I was expecting to be all in on that stuff when I started.

Just checking in on this since it has been a while since anyone posted IC. Are people feeling okay about the game? Is there anything I can do to make the experience work better for you? This is also a break point, which is when I would normally do a feedback survey - this isn't just because it's been a few days.

I know that there's a lot to respond to and that transitioning from the more focused scenario of the Night Road into a more open-ended downtime period is also tricky, so let me know if there's anything I can do to help on that end as well. Basically I'm here if there is any way I can be of service.

I'm feeling peachy. If no one else replies in a day or two, I'll keep going.

Agreed. We can move into downtime in maybe asecond thread, and if Sani wants to reply here we can keep this one open for things winding down? :D

Because of course La has a team of pollsters providing her with same-day survey and focus group results.  She's the goddess of Wishes!  How could she not?  For real though, her assistants and suppliers and general staff are all fervently dedicated to their jobs, and they operate just a little too efficiently to be entirely right.  I've decided to go for an absolute minimum actual displays of power.  She helps others be heroic.  Everyone around her is Better.

Before I reply I want to poll the group. I'm wanting to switch back and forth on Rakhur's voice when I'm trying to write him. A more serious character would fit fairly well I think.. but I could also see him as the sort of character to throw comedy at an issue to cover up his troubles. I don't want to break the tone of the game though so that's the question I have; would you all prefer a more dour addition to the cast or one that's more witty?

Still feeling rough, but I promised GM I'd try and get a post this morning. Working on it. As to the nature of our new arrival. Rashana's had to be serious of late but she is intended to have a lighter nature in general. I'm good with either, which I know is supremely unhelpful :D If you definitely want a vote from me, I'll go with dour, but I'm fine with witty :D

Well, I exploited your arrival for a comic touch, but I also don't care which, so my vote is to combine them into dry.

However you want to play it Rakhur is fine with me. Alvatter is mostly an aloof intellectual type, often found lost in his own thoughts or in a book. So his tone is very much neutral at the best of times.

Yeah, I'm hoping for a response from Sani before I nudge things along. I'll give it a short while longer and then if I've not heard anything I'll go ahead.

As of tomorrow it'll be a week since Sani's last login, so, probably good to pick ourselves up and get moving? (Maybe I could alternately work on a version of the food supply plan using  Rakhur's aid, given his oasis ability to provide for those needs, I could see a spring like that made lasting with dominion and then used for irrigation purposes, or else to provide direct sustenance.

That makes sense. I messaged Sani and haven't heard back, but I'm also not entirely clear on what the group is...doing next, for lack of a better word. Like, I'm not sure what to post right now that you need from me. I could work on getting cults set up, but I don't know whether some of you are doing that or the free divinity route. Other than that, you haven't really picked a door or anything, so it's not like I can bump forward to that.

Now, that being said, I do have good news. Laila is feeling better and should be able to rejoin once it's a good point in the narrative for it.

Those springs are actually permanent until gift-level magic is used to spoil them, if I recall correctly.  I mean, unless you don't want the whole city's food supply dependent on one person's mood for some reason.  I'd offer to help, but La has nothing related to food unless you mean magic brownies, and we can't have everybody living on edibles.
