OOC Chat

Hi all. It's your friendly neighborhood Grump Seelie Satyr here. I'm working up my character now and if I can swing it point wise, he's going to be the proprietor of a local bar where (hopefully) Fae of all types can congregate peacefully :-)

Question - It looks like the knowledges the char sheet that was posted differ from the list in Changeling 20. Which should we be using?

You don't own me. At least not in public.

That's what being Unseelie is all about.

Re: OOC Chat

Hi so I'll be making the pretty little thing called Annabelle Broch. She's a Redcap, and surprisingly polite, not that she won't eat her way through someone's rib cage given adequate provocation.

Hello everyone I am playing Luis, whose pitch idea was Chef Gordon Ramsey, as a Redcap.

Remember, what is on my plate is mine, no sharing.

Oh I see! Are you saying what I cook isn't good enough for you ritzy pub?

See, just another example of the systematic oppression of Courts trying to hold down the underclass, I am an artist. Wait til you try my chilli rellenos, my enchiladas, my steak tartar with verde sauce.

Don't eat what's on the plate. Right. So we can eat the plate then?

Re: OOC Chat

Hehehe, Hieronymus was not a nice Fae back in his younger Unseelie days. He may be a little prejudiced given that he lived a rather...wild...lifestyle.

Annabelle, I'm sure you're a perfectly nice Seelie Redcap. Aside from the plate eating that is. Unless we put plates on the menu :-)

Re: OOC Chat

Satyrs have their appetites and we have ours. Bit of an omnivore I'm afraid, given adequate reason anything can be on the menu. For a plate the jest of it might suffice.

Re: OOC Chat

Hmmm much in the same way one takes raw ingredients and creates a delicious meal, there must be a way to do that with plates, cutlery, and other inorganic objects. *thinks*

Re: OOC Chat

Absolutely, it might seem like leather, wood pulp and ink, but I assure you anything by Dickens is tediously dry, while Chaucer's works if you can get over the musty age is quite saucy. But when it come to buffoons, make sure you make them talk first, a mime is a terrible thing to taste.

Re: OOC Chat

On a completely OOC note it didn't make sense for Annabelle to have her own freehold or to have acquired a great deal, but it'd make sense to place her in a motley for mutual protection. I have some freebies that could be spent in support of such an organization. The slight caveat if you could even call it that is you'd need to be willing to take on a recently sained weirdo, possibly at the behest of a well connected Seelie Boggan, Wendy Wheelman, who is her mentor.

I may have a freebie point or two...I can rearrange things. I think it depends on what the GM has in mind for the campaign.

Henry Wilkes:

That is a stinking rotten awful joke, everybody tells it and it wasn't funny after the third or forth time.

I am a chef, an artist. You don't eat the customers otherwise it scares them all off and you don't get to cook. Even the ones who wise mouth off about the food being bad. Maybe kick them out through the door but no eating. Even when they deserve it.
