For all those discussions out of character.

I think at the moment that there are enough players gathered to at least get the ball rolling on discussions of characters, races, and the ever wonderful bit about the origins of our adventure.

So I think I shall start that ball rolling back asking the age old question:

What is everyone looking to play in this game of ours?

I'd really like to play a Windling Scout (with Questor and Wind Master thrown in there) but from my experience the horribly low toughness doesn't seem to do well.....

Enjoyment and adventure, bits of intrigue too is what I hope for.

If you take a Windling I'll chose an Airsailor...
Although I am alrady playing a human Airsailor in another game.
I fear I might have some difficulties distinguishing the two if I play both simultaneously.

As for what I want in a game?  It's hard to say, I've only played one character extensively in ED (A windling Windmaster from 2k - 800k legend) and we did zounds of stuff, lol.

I'm a bit too timid to play a frontline fighter.
Otherwise I'd go for a Swordsmaster.
I had settled for Scout or Airsailor in this one, but I'm still open to suggestions.

I really like the Beastmaster too but I hate the fact that they can't do Missile Weapons.  I love the Calveryman but they can't do missile weapons until rank 5.  My biggest problem is that I love windlings but they aren't really suited for frontline combat, lol.
