Re: Ooc

So do we have any idea what the campaign is going to be like yet? I noticed that Wraith is Hunted by DEMON. I'm also Hunted by evil magicians, which if I'm being honest, I originally envisioned being DEMON as well, but wanted to leave it more generic on the character sheet to fit into any campaign. So magic is going to be a pretty common encounter, and DEMON in particular. I'd love to hear more about what GM is thinking about the campaign's background, and of course any comments from others.

Re: Ooc

DEMON for me is a place holder should the GM want a change
I choose DEMON as she plays more the spooky than the mutant

Possibly :), I like that film :), though I'm a scientist not a reporter and didn't get my powers from a meteor :)

Re: Ooc

I'm hunted by VIPER, and given my public identity it won't take long for them to find me....all that news coverage of me destroying the lab at MIT when I grew big ruined any chance of a secret identity :)

I'm also hunted by Diamond, a former associate who was part of my lab team at MIT, and also gained powers through our nanite research (though her powers are more Density Increase/Desolidification in nature).

DEMON, VIPER,  METE (watching aliens), Atlantis,  etc

All existing in this universe

I closed applications.   Still waiting on 2 more players to finish their info.

Now the wait begins as I look at each character closely

I actually make no presumption, hence the question mark, though most Champion campaigns i've participated in have been based in one of the American cities.

 METE (watching aliens)

This is funny... I have both a love and hate relationship with them.  I do think aliens need to be watched... just as long as it's not me.

Re: Ooc

btw... I did post/submit a list of my Disadvantages.

I'm still waiting for approval from you before continuing.  I want to make sure that's okay before moving on to actual character generation.

Interesting disadvantages.   I may have some questions about your susceptibility and vulnerability,  but you have to wait your turn

Oh, can I get my character sheet opened in Details? Or is it to be posted publicly like Obsidian's?

Re: Ooc

Nope I think Obsidian posted that before the GM opened up the other sheets. So hopefully GM is by soon to open it up for you :), he has learned to do that :)

Re: Ooc

Hello.  'Martial artist' and computer programmer here.  And the quotes are necessary.  I got zapped into a computer game and and came back out as the character I was playing.  It was a fighting game, but not a super-accurate one, so I've got abilities that resemble martial arts.

Also, I used to be a 6 foot tall white dude instead of 5 foot tall Asian girl.  Which, I guess, beats being stuck as a dragon.  I mean, hadokens and jumping over buildings are awesome.  But I need a new identity, and it's kinda annoying being so short.

Actually, I might slot in as something of a speedster; I can jump around at freeway speeds.  Also, a bit of a glass cannon - I can hit hard, but I can't take many hits.

Also, I'm not that happy with that portrait.  Couldn't find anything that really hit Asian, red hair, cute/disarming, and realistic.

Re: Ooc

Wraith is a mutant flying brick w/ gravity powers
She likes playing up the spooky as her powered up energy form is a very bad invisibility(hence the use of clothing to offset this)
see picture

when in human form Blair is a fairly successful horror writer and former CSI techie
she can double as an investigator

Re: Ooc

@Obsidian

Actually, depending on which big cat you're talking, and how big/flexible your wings and tail are, you could take the Physical Disadvantage: Large, worth 5 points, giving you -2 DCV and +2 to be perceived (aka, a permanent level of growth)

Also, shame on me, being back in a 5th ed game and not bothering to play a character with an elemental control. :)

Hopefully starting soon
