Re: The Warehouse

T1 - Seg 3

As soon as Thorne commits to Ginormica instead of Najewa the mystic calls, "You want to be like him?"

He pauses to avoid one of the teens' clumsy lung, "One minute lads while we peel back the curtain so you can get a GOOD look."

His left hand forms an archane sign and a bright bolt of sliver leaps toward Throne.

Use remaining Half Phase action to attack Thorne

21:50, Today: Sentinel rolled 9 (with 3 body) using 3 with the Hero (Champions) system.  Mystic Blast II Any SFX -> Silver, +2 CSLs for 9 OCV.
- Hit DCV 11-

21:51, Today: Sentinel rolled 31 (with 10 body) using 7 with the Hero (Champions) system.  Mystic Blast II dmg.
- 10 Body, 31 STUN vs ED, sfx Silver

OOC: Ack!  He was at 1/2 DCV while Grabbed, should have used those CSLs to increase dmg

OOC: I believe Throne was going at the end of phase 3 so (assuming Ginormica also went on 3) I THINK we're at the bottom of that phase.  I just used my half-phase delay at end of 3
 right after Thorne's attack

Segment 5

Malleable Man runs to Ginormica, determined to beat on the dishonorable Lord Thorne. This time, as he runs his body collapses in on itself till a much reduced Malleable Man reaches the spot.

full move (13"), if necessary to reach Lord Thorne and Ginormica. Activate shrinking to keep a low profile, so -4 PER Rolls to perceive character, +4 DCV (12), takes +6" KB

As the thugs slink off, Najewa takes advantagr. Dipping into her Medicine bag, ahe pulls out brightly colored powder that she throws in the air. She intones axNacajo prayer as eldritch energies infuse her. The effort drives her to her knees, but the others can watch in awe as the hole in her stomach Disappears, and both her person and her outfit apoear to be whole once more.

Re: The Warehouse

The miniature Malleable Man (now less than half a meter tall) climbs onto Lord Thorne and begins punching the tip of the unconscious villain's nose with the hero's now tiny hands. "I warned you not to screw with us! Now feel my blistering wrath, you no good scum!"
It's obvious that, although he might be able to do some real damage if he tries, the Malleable Man is just tweeking Thorne's nose.

Re: The Warehouse

Motioning to Ginormica, Sentinel asks that she lay the servitor of demons on the ground and asks the gathered heroes to, "Guard now, some watching Thorne in case he's playing possum, some in case any of his cronies attack."

His skin crawls as he brandishes the scythe.  Then, just as Nervous Elk instructed, he beings the ritual to sever the bonds of the demonic entity.

Re: The Warehouse

Ooc:  Thorne had a PD and ED of 15 and 50% damage reduction.   Both Sentinel and Najewa know how to use the staff, but if Thorne wants to keep his evil powers. He won't be able to separate from the demon. He'll just be banished to another dimension with the demon.  So. Do you banish him or take him to jail?

"Might want to bind, blindfold and gag him first, just to be on the safe side." Warhammer suggested. "However, there might be a problem explaining what happened at the museum and such if we do turn him in ourselves. Also, I do not know if there is a civil law that prevents him from offering his soul."

"Well, he DID attack Najewa so maybe there's some sort of assault statute. Then he tried to get these youngsters to involve themselves in our disagreement, that might be construed as inciting civil disobedience. Would that be against the law? It probably should be, if it isn't."
"Maybe we can turn him over to the local authorities, and assist them till they can secure him. Although, considering the way that wizard popped in and out of places, just how secure could we be?"

Najewa, now hale and healthy asks "does anybody have contacts in the U.S. goverment? They might have a special prison for magical prisoners. Or I can try to get my mentor to help imprison him on Indian Lands, buried beneath tons of stone, but I think Civil Liberties would have something nasty to say about that. Or you can contact a white man's church for an Exorcism, I suppose."
