The mystic rises in the air, his right hand forms a symbol and is enveloped in a pure white light.

"Demon of the Nether," he addresses Runt, "release your hold on this one or burn in the flames of life!"

Stretching forth his arm he bathes the demon in the holy energies...

I don't think I accurately described the scene.

At the top of the island,  there is the alter, but that is behind trees and a clear shot would be difficult.

Blade and Runt are at the most northern point,  past the trees.  Once you get past the trees, there are innocent bystanders around the alter, plus more demons.  Making it even harder to attack the altar.

Plus there is a 'willing" sacrifice lying on the alter.  So, Warhammer,  would you like to repost?

Warhammer blasts the altar but injured the "sacrifice"  (I gave you opportunity to change it)  He is a normal man who is now dying and bleeding badly.

Malleable man is now at the island.

Blade's defenses are cut in half but it was a bad roll 19 stun left.  Not stunned.

Runt ignored Sentinel comments.   Sentinel did 9 BODY due to magic attack.   8 stun done
Blade will attempt to attack Najewa

oday: Blade rolled 9 (with 2 body) using 3 with the Hero (Champions) system.  Ocv 0.

Missed.

Runt knows he was attacked from above and will pull up a tall tree (area effect) but that is his phase.

Poor Warhammer is now facing every other demon alone (hey you blasts their altar)

Wizard is still making the storm

Malleable Man mumbles "stop the ritual by disrupting the formation" and uses his elastic arms to swing through the trees and directly into one of the demons surrounding the altar.

OOC: aiming at a demon that's facing the wizard, trying to slam into the demon from behind and break the wizard's concentration

Phase 10

Najewa feels the flow of combat around her. Despite her blindness, she 'feels' the position of Blade and strikes hard. She is unable to find a weaker spot to strike Blade, but the force she packs into her side kick (Defensive Strike) echoes over the water.

The Storm @ phase 10

The mystic held the holy energies in hand, prepared to send another bolt into the demon Runt....but Warhmmer's rounds torn into the alter and the soul laying upon it.  With barely a though Sentinel abandoned Runt and sped towards the wounded.

Landing beside the young man he concentrated, shaped the power he held, softened it's release and fed the energy of life into the bleeding form.

OOC for some reason I didn't think I went on 10, sorry for the delay.

Move: 10" to alter
Action: Heal wounded

I have 4XP, use all to add Healing to Multipower.  I'll have the proposed construct up shortly

No longer stunned, Ginormica decides that it might be time to make sure she doesn't take another hit like that. Well like mom used to say what goes up must come down. So if growth wasn't the answer, perhaps shrinking was. She would shrink down to her smallest size. Perhaps that would prevent further blows until she can recover.

Malleable man rams his body into the wizard.   But he had an invisible [to sight) force field on and only took 9 stun.  But his appearance changes from basically a 6 foot tall man in his early 20s into a more of a turnip shape with no legs and 6 arms.

The Wizard is knocked down,  but still able to act.    Too late.  The portal has been opened.  The others will arrive soon.  Meanwhile your friends now have you to worry about.

Warhammer hits Enforcer,  but he has 30 pd and 50% reduction,  so only takes 7 stun.  His body is also cold enough to do 1d6k, but not going to worry about that.

Wraith lands just to see Sentinel heal the injured sacrifice.

Ginormica shrinks.

Torch attacks Sentinel

Psycho slams Najewa unconscious with a mighty blow. But her supernatual endurance puts her back on her feet.

Psycho's attack does 10 BODY and 35 STUN vs Najewa's 21 PD. She takes 14 STUN. Najewa was at 10/49, so that puts her at -4 STUN. Her Con is 25, so it does not STUN her.

phase 12
Najewa takes a Recovery (REC 22) and is now at 18/49. Full DCV 9.

Malleable Man stares at the spinning top person, shakes his head, and says, "now you're gonna get it".
The changeable one's body balloons and expands as his hands and arms transform into a shape like unto a sledge hammer. His arms spin at his shoulders and he rains blows onto the turnip shape, apparently attempting to drive it into the ground and plant it.

Phase 12
breakout roll was 9 (EGO-2), Mind Control was EGO+29, breakout could be no worse than -2, Malleable Man succeeds on shrugging off the Mind Control, and lets the wizard know it
0 phase action to change multiform to growth, 0 phase action to activate growth, full phase sweep maneuver (Mallet Hand is +1 OCV, +0 DCV, done with each hand), -2 OCV, 1/2 DCV. Final OCV is 7, final DCV is 4 first blow hits DCV 9 or less, second blow hits DCV 6 or less (if turnip is prone turnip will have 1/2 DCV, also)

Sentinel does his best to shield the wounded boy on the remains of the alter from Torch's fiery blast.  The mystic symbols of his aura flare as the intense heat wash over them, then shatter.  With a cry Sentinel collapses, momentarily overcome by the flames.

Stepping over to line up Torch and as many of the bad guys as he could, without hitting the team or non-combatants, Warhammer flipped the selector to one that looks like a snowflake and let loose a blast of cold.

Not sure how many others are in the 6" cone. Hit DCV 10 on Torch, DCV 7 on the 2nd attack, 11 for the  other two. 17 Cold ED damage

I think cone attacks can hit a DCV of 3
And because Warhammer used Torch 's weakness against him.  He is 0 STUN

Phase 12.  Torch and Blade takes a recovery and doesn't attack

Runt swings his tree again and misses, but should recover by his next phase from being blinded.

Wizard teleports 15" away (still prone)

Psycho tries to attack Najewa again.

Enforcer's fist slams into Malleable Man's head, which deforms around the fist before flying back and around. As his head orbits his body, Malleable Man's neck stretches and wraps around his shoulders as he staggers away from the source of the blow. When his neck snaps back as his head rebounds, his face is out of place and over his back.

CON stunned, won't notice the Wizard's PRE attack, or much else, till he recovers (segment three) so won't do anything till segment five.

Najewa, her eyesight restored, flips past Psycho to Strike the Wizard, saying "Good! One less White Man to terrorize the city." even as ahe tries to save his life.

Half-move acrobatic leap to get next to Wizard, Defensive Strike vs Wizard.

Phase 12

The mystic groans, his cape and costume still smoking from the heat of Torch's attack.  But for the moment that is all he can manage.

Recovery 7, he's no longer negative STUN and is awake but still CON STUNNED
OCV/DCV/ECV: 4/4 (half for being CON STUNNED)
STUN:6
END: 6

GM - Healing can't be reapplied more than once a day unless he could happen to roll a higher result than his previous roll...which was well-above average so unlikely.
 Unfortunately couldn't afford Decreased Re-use Duration advantage but even then would likely require a few hours.
