"And they would rather have someone do their thinking for them rather than doing the hard work.  Sounds like you like to be confrontational and not admit that you created the mess. You expect everything to be handed to you on a silver platter? Be careful what you wish for." Warhammer doing his best not to shred them.

First he directed his statement to Malleable man.     listen to Weird Al much? ( who wrote the song "Everything you know is wrong ")

so a bunch of bleeding heart Liberals and an Injun.  You all think you know everything.   I see PRIMUS approaching.   You will be taken down.   Then you will see I was right

The next scene

In reply to Sharks (msg # 9):

Najewa brandishes the blade of her spear and levels it at Shark's throat. "You would prefer to be the wizard's bitch to being a man? Typical White Eyes attitude. The People protected the land, and lived in conjunction with the bison and elk. We took only what was needed and we did our own work. Unlike the 'privileged' Whites who kept slaves and stripped the land bare, destroying the ecosystem, destroying entire species, destroying the Earth herself, only for the illusion of Wealth? If you weren't so pathetic I would avenge my tribe, but your blood would only taint a blade that has only known honor. Leave this one to fend for himself. I'm sure Enforcer will look after him, if he bothers to return..." she ends with a sneer.

The mystic listens silently to the words of the youth, speaking with the unswaying authority of ignorance.

"Would you like to see them then?" he's asked the speaker in a calm but cautious voice, "See them in their natural forms in the Netherworld?  I can take you there."

With no more words of caution or rebuke, Sentinel holds out his hand for any foolish enough to take it.

"If we can get all the pieces, I might be able to analyze it and see what you are dealing with. With that, I should be able to provide you a recommendation on putting the scythe back together." Warhammer said. "You might want to research how it was created for the bibbidi bobbidi boo part." he added, starting to realize there was more than just science out in the universe.

The next scene

Malleable man returns to his 'default' appearance, and nods, "I'm gonna go out on a limb, here, and say clearly that I've got no idea how any of that works. I do know that any time you're trying to reverse engineer someone else's product the first thing you ask is 'what part of this is something I already know how to build.' Which, again, leaves me out."
"So why don't I meet the PRIMUS people and let them know what we've got, here."

Ginormica finally starts to stir again. She'd been out for a while. That was some heavy hitting she'd taken. She was analyzing the fight and decided that perhaps it was more psychological than real damage at her size. Hopefully she'd learn to control that better in future fights.

"So what's going on? Did we win?"
she asks.

The sacrifice is about to make a snide remark back when PRIMUS arrives.

We cleared and secured the lake.  What is happening here? asked a native American officer

The sacrifice speaks first.     Yeah, these so called heroes interrupted a private religious ceremony.   We have the right to worship how we please.  If you Injuns want to worship Chief Running Bear, or whatever the hell you worship, That’s perfectly okay,  but heaven forbid we want to worship demons.   That's not okay?  It's called freedom of religion.

Najewa scowls. "If you want to call it a religion, that's your right. But as far as I can tell, the wizard never applied for Legal status for this cult. Regardless of Religion or not, willing sacrifices or not, there are legal ramifications for performing bloodletting rituals on U.S. soil. And the Wizard was using Stolen materials in the ritual. You are all guilty of Grand Theft by your participation in gathering those stolen items."

"Freedom of Religion does not give you the right to murder people by letting demons consume their souls," Ginormica says. She would have argued against demons a few weeks ago, but science believed in the application of reason and evidence and there was she had seen here evidence that demons were real.

I don't know anything about stolen items or museums.   I only know Wizard went to get the scythe,  which may belong to him.

Did the early Christians have to apply for legal status.   No.  And we've been around a lot longer than they have.

He wasn't going to kill people,  he was going to transform them.  There is a difference.

Lacking Criminology or the wherewithal to ascertain whether any of the thugs participated in the theft (OOC : Correct me if I am wrong, but only Powered Agents were in on the heist?), Najewa stands down. But before she depowers, she takes a sample of each gang member's scents. If they did not undergo a metamorphosis,  she'd be able to track them in the future.

Sentinel:
In reply to GM (msg # 77):

Once Sentinel has recovered enough to stand again he'll examine the hosts then consult with his companions.

"With the scythe gone it will be a challenge to exorcise the demonic spirits.  There are a couple options that come to mind but none are guaranteed."

"First we might seek out more powerful magical practitioners who may be able to accomplish this without the scythe.  Second...the scythe that was destroyed was from this reality but there are others.  It may be that we can locate an alternate Earth sufficiently similar to ours that also has a scythe which can be used.  Claiming such a powerful artifact will not be without its risks..."

13:10, Today: Sentinel rolled 10 (with 3 body) using 3 with the Hero (Champions) system ((3, 2, 5)).  KS: Mystic World, 13-
- made it by 3

13:18, Today: Sentinel rolled 8 (with 2 body) using 3 with the Hero (Champions) system ((2, 5, 1)). KS: The Planes, 13-
- made by 5

Well hopefully between the 2 Sentinel either knows someone who can help or knows where another scythe might be.

Was hoping this would go along with Psycho's comment about bringing a more powerful scythe back.

(How did I miss that?)

There is almost a dimension for everything.   Even one where all the heroes are villains.   There is a dimension where Foxbat got the scythe,  but he is more competent and evil.

But there is a dimension of elder gods.   Been trying to get into the dimension since the dawn of time

They may have opened a portal just big enough for the scythe with a material that doesn't belong on this dimension.

Oh. And the Sacrifices don't trust you,  so ignored you.
