It's night time when you return.   Any DNPC s will worry.  When you do get back it is dark and no electricity seems to be working.

Ginormica looks out the window as they are arriving back and it appears all the lights are out down below she looks over at a PRIMUS agent, "What happened?"

"Get away from here before everything shuts down!" Warhammer said, turning away from the city, and going into a dive to quickly get out of the area.

"I think Warhammer has a good idea, we can't stay flying if this is draining our systems, we need to set down." Ginormica said.

Most of Ginormica's powers were mutant based, except the nanites that repaired her body continously. What a time for them to be going dormant. She'd certainly have to be more careful without her regeneration.

Malleable Man heads for the door, "let me off, I've family to protect" he says.

Najewa stands by. She has no tech, but perhaps her skills will help her save the pilot if they have to ditch the aircraft in midfall.

The aura is not mystical.   It only affects tech, not inherent powers.  The PRIMUS pilot has to land quickly,  but he is a good pilot.   So lands safely and let's Malleable man out.

The city lights and power begin to come back on and power is restored.

Malleable Man moves off from the others and attempts to contact his wife and kids. As soon as he insures they're ok (or not ok) he returns.

Adam replied.     The power is back on but we are stuck in am elevator at the big mall.

The PRIMUS officer gets some more information.    The blackout lasted for less than 5 minutes.   No chance to try and track it.  No warning or demands yet.

Ginormica exits the plane and then grows to full height to have a look around to see if she can see anything from here.

Najewa pulls out a pocket compass (part of her Survival gear). She looks at it to see if the magnetic north has been affected by whatever just happened. She had read someplace that an electomagnetic pulse could knock out technology for a short time. Any surge like that probably had secondary effects.

While waiting for his companions' reports Sentinel tries to contact his grand niece and see if she is okay.

Gigantica's gigantic eyes enabled her to take in more of the world than ordinary sized people and gave her a slight advantage in seeing things others might miss. She made sure to scan the area for any trouble from her vantage point.

Wraith and Ginormica (who are the only 2 high enough and actually looked)  see black smoke from Stronghold.   It's not thick enough yet to be overly obvious.

"Smoke from Stronghold direction, probably a prison break. Either the supervillains taking advantage of the power outage, or perhaps someone causing it to release prisoners. Things will get a lot more harry though, we should proceed to reinforce them. Can you check in with Stronghold and make sure they are okay," she asked the PRIMUS agents.
