Sorry about your lot Casyr, in my thoughts.  I've lost everybody in my life already except my wife. Brother and sister are still alive, but haven't heard from them in close to a decade. May be dead too for all I know.

How old is she?

She's 95 almost 96 if she makes it another month but she's pretty bad I just hope she lasts til my uncle gets here, I don't suspect she'll make it out of this week, but she has surprised us all before. It is not COVID-19 related, we've been in isolation this entire time.

My she has had a long and fruitful life! My grandma passed when she was 89, right before she turned 90. Celebrate with her and enjoy her while you have her. God bless.

I am sorry to hear that as well. I assume she is on home hospice care then? I hope she makes it long enough for your Uncle to see her, I lost my grandmother 24 years ago when I was in middle school.

And I agree with you Aergleel, siblings can be...interesting. I rarely speak to any of mine, despite being on Facebook, Messenger, etc... We just are not as close as we were when we were children. I guess it is the fact we live so far apart (NE, SE, SW, and West Coast) that makes it hard to stay connected. I do not know your family well, but perhaps just trying to get in contact with them via Google Search? That has helped my wife with some of her high school friends (20+ years ago), not perfect, but sometimes it works out.

She's at home so far no hospice with much of the household vulnerable my aunt is worried about to many people coming in.

Am I right in thinking that you cannot use geography untrained?

Again just checking:
* Survival is not getting lost when following maps or just 'going west' or something
* Geography is 'what's there if we went there' and 'what's the weather/terrain like over there'

All the knowledge skills are "trained skills" which require you to have a rank before you can use them. So you are correct that Knowledge: Geography requires ranks.

Some games are quick, some are slow. I prefer quick, but as long as the games keeps ticking over I will be happy and enjoy posting in it.

Well, yes I have school, but the lack of update was due to a trip to the hospital. Thankfully not corona, but a serious enough flu that I was incapacitated for a week.

Although I am not as strong as I used to be, I intend to continue this game shortly.
