I think that pretty much covers the bases I was looking for.

Welcome everyone to the game, I may add one more just in case, but I think for the 4 players I have accepted it makes sense.

Aergleel Greenleaf - Blade of the Elves (Fighter//Cleric of Corellon)
Amardes Leithianeth - Fist of the Forest (Monk//Druid)
Casyr - Knight of the Wild (Paladin//Ranger)
Ruven Reykalyn - Song of the Eladrin (Bard//to be determined)

I know Amardes is going to be focused on his Martial Arts, and Casyr said he was going the Archery route.

I made the assumption that Aergleel is going to be a Sword swinger, and Ruven...will be something, but two melee and one ranged isn't a bad fit.

Amardes is an Elven maiden. In human terms in her late teens, in 'years' for elves I think that's about a hundred years old. She's been 'home tutored' by her parents who live in the forest near the village as 'hunter/gatherers' and also as Charcoal burners.

I'll do her description/character sheet over the next couple of days. I assume we've all spent tens of years (at least) living in the same village so we should know each other fairly well.

As I flesh out the town, notably NPCs, you may notice I have altered things slightly. As we develop this town I would like for people to become invested in it and it's inhabitants.

You are all currently residents or near residents of the town, and so would have grown up together for the most part.

Now, I was assuming we would be playing with the traditional Elf races ala PHB. Instead of a con penalty, I am ruling Elves get a solid +2 Dexterity bonus instead. No penalty to your racial stats.

I've grown up in town, my father is a hunter (Ranger), and my mother is a herbalist (She could be an expert or something more). They've been preparing me for the future raids against the village, specifically Orcs, which raided the village sometime in their youth and they were involved in helping in defense (as was most of the village).

I am a follower of Vandria Gilmadrith, and thus more stoic than the typical elf, almost dwarf like. I am a Paladin/Ranger, and I noticed the Captain of the Guard is too :).

Firstly: thanks for the +2 con :) I like my hitpoints. Especially at level 1! The bonus 20 are extremely welcome too. I like the idea of being level one from the point of view of spells/attack/damage etc while not being one shotted by a lucky kobold.

Secondly: how many feats can we have at level 1. Are you using any disadvantage rules, or is it a straight '1' + any class modifiers?

Only 1, as an elf normally would. If you have a class that gives you an additional one, ala fighter, you get that bonus feat as well. The goal with feats was to allow you not to worry so much about having to take this feat and that feat to be optimized, but giving you a chance to take feats that have more flavor, such as the feats from Complete Arcane that give you a few spell like abilities per day, etc...

And yes, Casyr, while your father has been giving you training on the side, you have been apprenticing yourself to the Captain of the Watch over the years. She shares your class archetype because it makes sense.

Hopefully Ruven Reykalyn doubles as a wizard.

My first draft of character sheet is up. I haven't done anything with equipment yet: I'll sort that out if you are happy with the rest of it.

A thought for us: if we actually get levels, we could consider getting 'team work feats' representing the fact that we train and work together.

Got my sheet about half done, finish it this afternoon or in the morning, I have errands to run.

Sorry Amardes I'm going bard/favored soul for my spellcasting, with some spell like abilities thrown in. I definitely plan on being more of a caster and throwing out buff/debuff spells while inspiring you all from the back lines. I'll probably have a bow backup weapon though.

I'll hopefully finish my sheet by the end of the day.
