Wow, Didn't realize no one had written in the OOC yet.

Well, I'm already enjoying my character, and his interactions with your characters.

Hope this game has legs!

Same here! :)

One of the things I love about WFRP is that its so easy to picture the setting and how the characters fit in.

One thing I've found to make dice rolling easier on Dramatic Tests. In the die roller, under game system, select Warhammer Test. Then set the target number to be your appropriate skill +/- the difficulty rating.

Doing this the die roller will automatically determine your success level for each test. You can note any adjustments to the success level for talents in the reason for roll section.

Gotcha.

That would mean that I have a net +3 from my extended test then?

I thought it would be cheap & open-top. Moving up in the world. Would getting to the driver be straight ahead, through the roof, or climbing around the side?

That is correct and I have provided you with the information you received for those 3 successes. You can continue to research more about the place in Weissbruck.

In reply to Valdred Kint (msg # 6):

Climbing around the side. On a erratically moving coach. In pouring rain. It's challenging.

Don't forget what your fortune points allow, either a reroll of a failed test or purchase an extra SL should you want. Given that we are not playing defined sessions I will be announcing when Fortune gets refreshed. It will be every 2 to 3 significant encounters generally.

Some character's didn't act, but I didn't know if we were in "turns" yet.

May Bert take another action?

We're not completely in turn based actions, but I am trying to give everyone a chance to come up with ideas. Feel free to post the next action and I'll use my judgement to decide the order in which things happen.

Erika tried to bless Valdred as he was leaving.

GM, this baying sound.

One source of baying, or multiple?

Can Erika use another Blessing while the current one is in effect or would that cancel the 'active' one on Valdred?

In reply to Erika Kleiber (msg # 14):

You can use another blessing. But be warned that the more you rely on the Gods the more they may see it as you demanding of them. Basically the more you ask for their blessing the more likely you are to accumulate Sin points

Whatís Bertís read of the situation?

The horses are nearly calm (if he succeeds, they will be calm)?

Can the harness be used to pull the coach?

Actually the horses are calm, the drive test will be to halt the carriage which was the driver's original intent, especially now the traces are threatening to come apart. From horseback a successful Difficult (-10) Drive or Ride or Intuition Dramatic Skill test would probably give you enough information to determine if the traces will hold.

Also can Heinrich please make Challenging (0) Simple Perception test thanks to his Acute Senses talent.

Boo...

08:37, Today: Filibert Heinig rolled 97 -- 6 degrees of failure using the Warhammer Test system with a target number of 30.  Ride TN 30(40-10).

The traces look fine to Filibert, more than strong enough to drive faster and certainly there is no need to stop. Especially if that noise is what you fear it might be! Please RP this in the IC thread

Game has gone quiet. I'm seeing days between log ins because of no updates.

We are nearing two weeks of no Valdred logging in. Can we push past his roll?

Real life happens. Of course take all the time you need to heal up.

It's just the radio silence that's disconcerting. Lots of games on RPOL go quiet and never pick back up.

It's always in the back of my mind in new RPOL games.
