Nash Brennan: 24-year-old Male Human. Nash Brennan is the middle child, and only son, of John Brennan and his third wife, Bethany. Does not get along with John’s current wife, Leandra, who hates Nash because his boisterous nature and love of physical activities clashes with her aristocratic sensibilities. Though John tried to keep the peace, ultimately, he was unwilling to go through another separation and Nash was forced to live with a step-mother who treated him poorly. With Josephine distracted from running the business and raising her own family, Nash soon realized (at the tender age of 11) that the only person who was going to put him first was himself.
Nash spent the majority of his tween-teen years out of the house. For his 16th birthday, John bought Nash R4-N8, while John and Leandra were briefly separated, and the two briefly reconciled. But within a few months Leandra and John had reconciled and Nash fell in with a shadier crowd (though nothing strictly illegal). Nash finally left home when he was 20, unable to stand being around the constant distaste of his step-mother. For the first few years after Nash left, John continued to give Nash an allowance, feeling guilty and hoping he'd return, but Leandra eventually convinced him to cut Nash off. Fortunately for Nash, he'd inherited his father's business acumen and invested his money while living on a shoestring budget. Now he receives regular dividends.
Nash eventually decided he'd go into the semi-legitimate profession of bounty hunting, hoping to use his wealth, resources, and connections to his advantage. Nash isn't an evil guy but he's very motivated by his own interests. He likes nice things and spending money to get them, though he'll abandon everything in an instant if it's necessary to save his life...save for R4-N8. Nate is his only true friend and he will do whatever he can to ensure both of their survival. Like his father, he's motivated to build a business of his own, he just happens to want to build a Bounty Hunting career because he's good at it and he enjoys it. Still, Nash isn't a very GOOD man either. He rarely cares about WHY someone is being brought in and has an uncanny ability to rationalize when he does find out. Only in extreme circumstances will he take himself off of a job.
Nash adores his niece and nephews and they love him in return.
John Brennan: 58-year-old Male Human. Owner of an ore refining business on Tatooine. His first wife was Cherette, his childhood friend and perfect match. They had a daughter, Josephine. Both John and Cherette were willing to build a company from the ground up and John was crushed when Cherette was killed in a Sand People raid when Josephine was 5. 2 years later John married his second wife, Leandra (the sister of a business partner), who married John because of his booming business. When the market took a down turn, 3 years later, she couldn't handle having to live in reduced circumstances and she divorced John within a year. John's third wife, Bethany, was 11 years his junior whom he married a year after Leandra left. Nash was born 2 years into their marriage but when Nash was 8 Bethany died, suddenly, from an aggressive cancer. 2 years later John remarried Leandra after meeting her at a business party. Within a year they had a daughter, Yvette. John tried to keep the peace between Leandra and Nash, but ultimately, he was unwilling to go through another separation. John does not approve of the rougher crowd that Nash hangs out with. Every year, on the anniversary of Bethany’s death, John visits Bethany’s grave. This is the one time a year John can talk to Nash with no one else around.
Cherette Brennan: Female Human. First wife of John Brennan. Mother of Josephine. Helped John build his ore refining business from the ground up. Killed in a Sand People raid when Josephine was 5.
Josephine Montilyet-Rainier: 38-year-old Female Human. Daughter of John and Cherette Brennan. Her mother was killed in a Sand People raid when Josephine was 5. Half-sister to Nash and Yvette. Josephine spent most of her life working closely with her father as he built his business and dealt with repeated grief. Attending a nearby university as an adult, she obtained a PhD in business and returned to be vice president and COO of John's company. To quash rumors of favoritism and gain additional legitimacy while dealing with other businessmen she changed her last name her mothers, Montilyet (Montilyay). About the time John remarried Leandra, Josephine married Thom Rainier, security chief of their business. Together they've had 3 children, Laurien, Antoine, and Allegra. Gets along well with John’s current wife, Leandra. Unable to help Nash while growing up due to raising her own family as well as helping to run the family business.
Thom Rainier: 38-year-old Male Human. Husband of Josephine Montilyet-Rainier. Father of Laurien, Antoine, and Allegra. Security chief of the Brennans’ ore refining business. Thom dislikes that Nash plays on the edge of the law but they get along.
Laurien Montilyet-Rainier: 12-year-old Male Human. Oldest child of Thom Rainier and Josephine Montilyet-Rainier. Nash’s nephew.
Antoine Montilyet-Rainier: 9-year-old Male Human. Son of Thom Rainier and Josephine Montilyet-Rainier. Nash’s nephew.
Allegra Montilyet-Rainier: 9-year-old Female Human. Daughter of Thom Rainier and Josephine Montilyet-Rainier. Nash’s niece.
Bethany Brennan: Female Human. Third wife of John Brennan; 11 years younger than John. Mother of Nash. Blonde and vivacious, Bethany enjoyed the money of John's rebounding business but wasn't the kind of woman who leaves when things get hard. Nash was born 2 years into their marriage but when Nash was 8 Bethany died, suddenly, from an aggressive cancer.
Leandra Brennan: 55-year-old Female Human. Second and fourth wife of John Brennan. Mother of Yvette. The sister of one of John’s business partners, Leandra first married John 2 years after John’s first wife, Cherette, died. She married John because of his booming business. When the market took a down turn, 3 years later, she couldn't handle having to live in reduced circumstances and she divorced John within a year. Remarried John 2 years after he lost his third wife, Bethany, after meeting him at a business party. Within a year they had a daughter, Yvette. Gets along with John’s oldest daughter, Josephine, but hates Nash whose boisterous nature and love of physical activities clashes with her aristocratic sensibilities. A few years after Nash left the household Leandra convinced John to cut off Nash’s allowance.

Yvette Brennan: 13-year-old Female Human. Daughter of John and Leandra Brennan. Half-sister to Josephine and Nash. Yvette is nothing like her much more intelligent siblings, who take after their father in personality. Her mother tried to raise her to be a sophisticated young woman but Yvette is a flighty airhead. After her basic education she thought herself a budding artist. Having gone through at least 3 tutors trying to prove as much, she has yet to produce a single finished work saying she's "waiting for her inspiration". Gets along with Nash when they are together.

Grik Rytt: 22-year-old Male Kajain’sa’Nikto (Red Nikto). Grik Rytt was working for a Hutt. One day Nash saw him being beaten with a whip by a task master and intervened, saving his life. Nash helped Grik escape servitude from the Hutt and ever since Grik has pledged loyalty to Nash—not to the point of a life debt (he is neither a Wookiee nor a Gungan), but he is nearly as devoted.

Askrik: 21-year-old Male Trandoshan. Askrik used to hang out in the same place as Nash, looking for bounties just like Nash was. Askrik was often too tenacious and had trouble bringing in live bounties. It was when he noticed Nash’s style that he asked Nash if he could team up with him to improve his bounty hunting prowess, especially for live captures. Nash is good at holding him back if necessary. Likes to gamble and spend money quickly, often going into debt, usually to Quosent to whom he frequently owes money (175 credits—for now). As with most Trandoshans, does not get along with Wookiees. Green-skinned.

Quosent Bosheth: 25-year-old Male Squib. Quoshent also used to hang out in a lot of the same places as Nash and Askrik, though he was usually looking for scrap and electronics (sometimes even stealing it). A great droid mechanic, who gets along well with R4-N8, fixing him up if he gets damaged in battle. A shrewd haggler, Quosent often lends money to Askrik, partially so Askrik will always owe him money. Quoshent has a bit of a Napoleon complex and so often reminds everyone that he is the oldest in the group, that Askrik owes him money, and whenever Askrik owes him money he makes Askrik carry anything he does not feel like carrying himself. His traditional Squib name has been split into two, mostly for ease of use with Basic-speakers. Has a high-pitched, voice and speaks quickly, often darting around. Has grayish white fur.
