Phoenix:
...A more conventional form of assistance is called for.  It is also nice that you can skeet shoot off the aft deck.  But he is not concerned about clay pigeons right now.

Sam  finds the cabin quite easily and without arousing any suspicion since everyone was so preoccupied with the goings on out on the promenade and main deck. In the covering darkness he slips by the rest of the passengers on his way up. He was still peripherally aware of the situation developing outside. Soon you come to the oak door that held the man known to him as Phoenix, another Bureau Agent like himself and the one whom he would trust to help him while fulfilling the mission. He delivers a >rap<, >rap< on the heavy door.

This was the agreed upon plan, should consensus need to be made about intervening to help the team. They would meet and decide on acting together.

Hearing the coded knock as he opens the safe, James calls out, Come in.  Our friends have a situation, before moving to unlock the door.
Back at the safe, he draws out the scoped Springfield rifle and a small ammo crate.
He moves to the covered balcony, setting the crate on the floor where he opens and takes out a stripper clip of five rounds.
Our friends are having a problem on the other ship.  A big problem.  If you can get over there to help..., he suggests as he loads the shells into the rifle, then pockets the thin metal clip.  My powes don't work in the rain, so I gotta do this the old fashioned way, as he works the bolt to load the first shot.

Metal ammo cans did not come into use until 1942.

Sam enters once the door is unlocked and listens intently as James speaks. He processes every word carefully and follows the man out onto their balcony. He looks across to the offending ship in question causing the disturbance then back to James as he prepared his weapon. It looked as though he wouldn't be idle much longer potentially.

"Confirmed. You have granted authorization to intervene and grant direct assistance. Would you like me to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of your firearm before I proceed?" Sam asked.

Let's find out how effective this babynis going to be without that, for now, James says to Sam as he takes aim using the standing, unsupported posture.
He centers the scope upon the large on, the one calling for reinforcements.  Breathe.  Relax.  Aim.  Squeeze, just at that pause between exhaling and inhaling.  The rifle bucks in his hands as he fires, hoping to hit the monster in its head.

20:52, Today: Phoenix rolled 62 using 1d100.  Remarkable shooting skill. – Green Feat roll.

Phoenix has fire powers and flight.  What are Geo's powers? I assume we would be familiar with each other's capabilities.

"Understood. I will proceed to provide direct assistance now," Sam nodded.

Without another word he stepped up onto the railing of the balcony. Then he simply stepped off and began to hover out over the water, palms down. Sam moved with a fair bit of speed as he seemed to just hover over to the other vessel where the chaos seemed to be occurring. Once he had authorization he saw no need to hesitate.

OOC: If either of you want to, now you may enter the fray on the Mauretania thread, otherwise continue here and I will be happy to continue to update.

Direct intervention seemed necessary as it appeared that two of the team seemed frozen in place whether through fear or some other emotion. The third seemed about to nearly set himself ablaze like a newfound sun as he began to glow brighter and brighter, much brighter than even hand torches they carried.

The wind catches Phoenix's bullet and nudges it off course by the barest millimeter, yet it still hits the creature in it's shoulder. The thing screeches in pain as he flails the dangling appendage around. It seems to understand now though that something else is nearby and makes a break for it.

It took only a moment for Geo to make his way to the other ship and he sees what's transpiring below, fully aware of the menace near his allies. He's roughly parallel with the top deck of the ship and he can see several creatures from this vantage point, though he suddenly realizes he's not quite out of danger either...

OOC: Geo please make an Intuition roll and whatever action you'd like to perform next!

Edit: Haha, I'm too slow apparently! Just saw your posts in the main thread! Consider this the remarks to that and feel free to update your post accordingly, otherwise I'll go with what you have.
