Three days later...
Our heroes find themselves back in Greenest. The town's ambiance has not gotten much better since the raid, in fact it has worsened somewhat, as now the people of the town have had some time to take complete stock of the ruin that was visited upon them. What was supposed to be a joyous time with a county fair, has instead turned into a dour and somber event, where the the town's bell never seems to stop ringing for the dead.
Governor Nighthill had ordered a plot of land previously owned by a farmer, who had not survived the raid, be dug into a mass grave to prevent the death that pervades the town from festering into plague.
On the day our heroes returned they were witness to the public hanging of several captured raiders, and the prisoners the group took at the mill, along with a local girl who apparently collaborated with the raiders.
Felosiel however was spared the same fate as the rest of the raiders, as per her deal with Governor Nighthill about divulging information. She has instead been sentenced to life imprisonment in a hanging iron cell along the main road into town, as a warning to any future attackers.
Leosin was delivered into the care of the town of Greenest and has been recuperating for the last few days.
---
Our heroes once again find themselves in the town's keep at the main hall, one of the few places left to get a hot meal should one need it; when in walks Leosin.
He marches straight to the group and speaks.
"After all you've done for me personally, and for the town of Greenest. I hate to ask anything more from you. But the need is too great, and I dare to hope that you can aid me one more time.
I need you to return to the cultists' camp; after all, you know your way around it now.
If the cultists are preparing to conduct another raid, or a large body of them marches away, or if anything substantial is carried into or out of that cave, I need to know. I have... lets call them friends, who can get things done, and I need to let them know about what is going on here. I have detailed knowledge of this cult and my suspicions and theories have proven correct.
I will offer each of you one hundred fifty gold pieces to complete this quest. I myself am headed to the city of Elturel to meet with one of my... Friends, I can pay you there; though if I must move on from there seek out a paladin Ontharr Frume, he can pay you in my stead.
What say you? Up for another task?"

o.o.c. For their part in rescuing Leosin, Anarkun, and investigating the camp, Governor Nighthill true to his word, delivered on his reward of 250gp
