Thanks all . I'm going to take it easy and ease back into the campaigns as a player and then get back into the GMing aspects.

Funny you point this out as I was looking to get things started again since the beginning of february.

The mental-push to get things going is what is making it hard to get back into it but I have so much I want to get done with this campaign that it is more a matter of my making sure I can update regularly to avoid sporadic stops.

I think what I will do is take roll-call and then ask for everyone to give 1-3 points they would do for a time skip. We can push forward where I can push the campaign forward with a time skip, get everyone upto speed and avoid "continuing" with the time passed since the last updates to have us half-hearted in updates for the campaign.

If some of the group drops out then I may contact some of the players that had shown interest in joining to complement the group and then we can move on from there.

So let's do a roll call and give ourselves until the end of february for everyone to chime in. We can see where we stand from there and as you guys accept roll call i'll contact you in private for the 1-3 points to work on during the time lapse so I can work on your updates while we get to the official "start" date.

If that sounds good for everyone, let's do it :)

Though may have to wait until tomorrow for the ideas on a time jump for me. Been a long day (and week), so a bit mentally wiped at the moment. The spirit is willing, but the brain is hosed as it were. :)

All: You can send them to me between now and the end of february. The quicker I get them the more time i'll have to work on the update but there is no hurry as I won't be moving things along before then (but I will work on the updates themselves offline as I get them)

In your case we'Re going to do the equivalent of 2 time skips. So you get 2-6 items to work on.

Not to all:

So for Time Skips:

Work on 1 thing: +100% result on content worked on
Work on 2 things: +50% result per content worked on
Work on 3 things: +0% result per content worked on

This is to reflect the "time" spent on the various things. The more things you can work on you can accomplish much but concentrating on less items gives you better results per content worked on.

(Elise: In your case you'd have the first set of 1-3 items you can work on and then the second set of 1-3 items you can work on)

So for those that already sent me the contents you want to work on during the time skip, please review this and confirm if you still want to work on the 3 things you mentioned or if you want to lessen the amount of content you will work on to increase return for those that you do.

Alright. So I'll contact the remaining players vis PM as they may not have noticed the activity in OOC. Glad to see Tal, Elise and Kairos are still on board.

I'll be working on the general updates over the next 2 weeks while also awaiting responses from the missing players. I'll also be bringing in 1-2 deities (based on absent deities).

Those gods that will have "left" will turn into NPCs for now

So slowly working on the time skips. Waiting on some info from some players but started work on the others. Just want to give a chance for the others to send in the info in case some stuff overlaps/affects another area they are in.

Alright so to aid in the updates I'll be doing them in two parts for the Dakalnar threads:

1) First will an update on what you will have worked on during the time skip

2) Will be the update on Dakalnar for the area you are in etc etc

Once both updates are done for your Dakalnar thread area you will be able to post your actions etc.

I'll be doing the first parts for everyone before attacking the second parts as some "second parts" may be influenced by the actions of others (or NPCs etc etc)

Hi all,

yeah so getting things going has been a mental challenge on my end. I hate doing things in part so I tried getting going all in one shot and that is just not happening easily.

So what I have been doing is reworking certain aspects of the rules that were bothering me such as:

- Monster souls
- Using monster souls to form GENESIS as well as how to balance the return of monster souls vs their strength
- Creating of magical items using monster souls
- Creating a difference between SOUL infused items vs CREATED items

I believe I found a nice balance and am fine tuning it all. This will ensure that sending forth creatures to cause terror upon the gods and the world doesn'T in turn create OVERPOWERED deities at low levels while still rewarding the effort.

This part of the rules was a constant bother as it made me have to hesitate sending forth creatures for various reasons (giving to many low level souls to the deities in return for the effort while also limiting the monsters sent to avoid such an unbalance.

Finally the ASPECT/NATURE thing was worked upon for this iteration of the campaign BUT was still an issue in my view.

So I removed all of it, forming a point system instead based on soul-rank to enhance powers/decide amount of powers a creature had.

I also worked on how monsters can gain rank on their own an how the values of their souls are in PURE form or BROKEN form (each having its own distinction and value in Fusion/Integration/Genesis)

I also worked on battle systems, more precisely LARGE battle systems. As your gods are working with mortals they will be part of large battles and wars from time to time and their influence can sway things one way or another. Removing the tediousness of micro managing and making it a more global scale for RESULTS (while allowing micro managing for finer points in terms of personal achievements) this took a large burden of the work to be done in those situations.

So all in all a lot of work done to ease the burden of the workload and the parts that truly "annoyed me" in handling.

I'll be working up the write up for these modifications to the rules and then simply work the updates for Dakalnar one at a time, posting them as I get them done and stop looking at it as ONE BIG UPDATE but rather multiple little updates if you will.
