Angus will follow where everyone else leads. He is not in the decision making business as of now, maybe in the future.

Falan voices his opinion that they should head to the outskirts. He keeps his own rations, believing that these would be better shared later. He thought that their travel might be made difficult by a fast pace, but they ran the risk of interception if they did not travel quickly.

Likewise Ronan had not parted with a single morsel. The sooner the liberated learned self-sufficiency, the better. Or maybe they should try to form a cooperative with the man-eating Aspis? That could be profitable -- but maybe for only one side. Such thoughts entertain him as he leads his thrall and his guard, Trandar, out of the slave pits of the undercity.
