It was after dinner.

"Okay!" said Carly.  "So, where do we start?  I brought a baseball bat and some balls, if that would help..."

"I can feel some kind of weird energy inside me," Elizabeth said, as she tried to focus it.

The power answered to her; what was she trying to do with it?

Elizabeth tried shooting it up into the air, so it wouldn't hit anything.

ZAP

"Wow!" said Carly.  "Shadow blast!  Cool!"

Elizabeth then felt the darkness flowing in her and then moved it else where, with her along for the ride.

(OOC: So, teleport using shadows.)

"Hey, cool!" said Carly.  "Can you do that to get out of the way of, say, dragon tails?"

"I suppose, but it feels like I'd need shadows," Elizabeth said.

"Okay, that's tricky, then," said Carly.  "Maybe you can arrange some...?"

"I suppose I could if I challenged someone, but...this, I hate having to fight," Elizabeth said.

"Well... what else can you try?" asked Carly.  "You could try seducing her, or offering her cookies, or something like that..."

"Se-seducing her?!" Elizabeth was now blushing very, very hard.

"Well, sure," said Carly.  "I guess it might be hard if she didn't trust you, though.  Maybe you could try some way to look helpless and harmless?"

"H-how would i do that?" Elizabeth asked, still blushing.

"Well... I'm not sure?" said Carly.  "Look all vulnerable and helpless?  I guess you could combine that with one of the other options... Um, you could dress the part, for one thing..."

"You mean with skimpy clothes and all that?" Elizabeth asked.

"That might be one option," said Carly.  "So would something that looks innocent, or... I dunno.  Something you couldn't really move in."

"Maybe we should just go with the holy ground idea...," Elizabeth said.

"Well, I guess," said Carly.  "You could try both, though..."

"I suppose, but I don't have an eye for fashion. I'd need your help," Elizabeth said.

Carly's eyes gleamed, and her grin grew tremendously.

"Oh," she said, "I suppose that I could think of something..."

"Oh good, thanks," Elizabeth said.

"...so which one do you want to try for first?" asked Carly.  "What's your taste?"

"I guess we should try the clothes first," Elizabeth said.

"...well, I was meaning which girl," said Carly, "but we can go shopping, too."

"Oh, well, I guess the last one. She didn't attack me outright," Elizabeth said.

"Okay," said Carly.  "So, you need to look cute for her, right?  Maybe something kinda gothy?  You should have a short skirt, to show off your legs and distract her."

"I don't really own anything like that," Elizabeth said.

"Well, what do you have that's sexy?" Carly asked.

"I don't think I have anything really," Elizabeth said. "I haven't really though about being sexy."

"You're a demon girl!" said Carly.  "You HAVE to do sexy!  What about shopping?  How much shopping can you do?"

"I've got some money in my bank account," Elizabeth said. "And do I really have to? It doesn't really feel me."

"...well, if you insist," said Carly, looking disappointed.  "How about innocent?  You could dress for pure innocence."

"Maybe I can try it. This is a good excuse to try something new," Elizabeth said.

"You're already pretty innocent," Carly observed.  "But that might be good for this thing."

"I meant with the sexy stuff," Elizabeth said.

"I really think you should try it," Carly said, her face a grinning mask.  "Just once!"

"Okay, let's go now then,"" Elizabeth said.
