For resting, what shift do you want to take watch, Aron? Here is what we currently have:

First Shift: Gascon
Second Shift: Dargrimm
Third Shift: Qamar
Fourth Shift: Daphne

Fine taking any shift, but if need be declared more firmly he could take the third shift shared with Qamar.

Aron you're a straight fighter right? The only healing I've got is this scroll of goodberry, but none of us can use it.

I am a straight fighter, I used the second wind to heal myself. So sadly cannot use the scroll of goodberry.

How far are the trees from each bank?

I assume 'very far' meaning there is big clearing near the rivers so there is nothing to tie ropes to (that is what my char IC specifically looked for).

Yeah, you could. But also could tie the rope around your waist and sit down and become a living anchor that way. Also as we have now 100'ft rope there can be another person on the other side of the river working as a second anchor.
