Re: OOC

I rolled the d10 again, so I rerolled the right one. And I got 6 from the Bunny Hop! It's +1 damage for each basic move, right?

Re: OOC
Correct, since you used Bunny Hop first, the basic attack only adds 1 damage.

For a total of 7. Noguchi isn't looking so hot.

Re: OOC

I figured rolling initiative for the next round would be next.

Initiative: 5
Control: 2

It's coming down to the wire!

Re: OOC
I'd roll for Noguchi, but he's stunned again. You hit his threshold. Again. Fire away!

Re: OOC

I think I still have yet to hit with it, so once again, I will move 1 step to bring us to Range 1, then it's Bunny Buns!

I'm going to spend FS to increase the Accuracy to +1, regardless.

Re: OOC
Noguchi is spending 1 FS to push his Defense to 4. Roll the attack.

I rolled a 2. Doomed to never hit, lol.

Re: OOC
Actually, you still hit. His Defense is cut in half because of stun, and he couldn't apply FS to his defense anyway. Had to look up the rules to be sure, but you definitely hit. Roll damage.

Re: OOC

Oh wow, okay! I rolled 4 damage.

Also, I recently thought of something. I don't know if we've been counting the -2 damage taken from Distracting, lol. I remembered it the first time, but haven't thought about it since.

For the record, Bunny's response to Noguchi's opening statement was just Bunny's reaction. I'm totally fine with Noguchi being that way.

Re: OOC
Duly noted.

Once more, and perhaps for the final round of this fight... Might have to adjust a little myself, since I didn't expect you to rack up 16 points of Glory in one go. Though Bunny is practically built for fast Glory gain, now that I think about it.

Anyways, Noguchi is basically screwed, but lets get the formality over with hm?

Init: 4
Control: 3

Re: OOC

If some of her Elements need adjusting, I definitely understand. I wasn't really thinking meta-wise when I was putting it together, just trying to stay thematic.

As far as next round...

Initiative: 5
Control: 6

I had a curious question. If you wanted to emulate a character doing something that wasn't an attack to "power up", would you say that's likely the Power Enhancer special move?

Re: OOC
You go first, then. Probably going to end the fight.

Are you looking for something similar to a Super Saiyan type power up, where they temporarily gain increased damage/speed/whatever?

Sorry, I got held up with work stuff, but I just wanted to give you a heads up! I'll be posting again this afternoon/evening.

I guess that would probably describe what I'm thinking, yes!

Re: OOC
No worries, life happens.

The Power-Up Element is I think specifically for increasing the power of one special/super move, rather than just a general stat boost of some kind.

I think you actually want the Buff Element. It's a fairly all encompassing Element for that sort of thing, but its usually reserved for Super Moves, simply because it gets pretty pricey in terms of element cost. It can be used as a normal special move though.

I would agree. Bunny seems to be the one in control at the moment.

Okay, I'm back for real this time, and all caught up!

It looks like I rolled Initiative 5 and Control 6.

Agreed, so you've six control points to do with as you choose.

Re: OOC

Getting everything figured out again, I think I'm going to go for a Bunny Hop!

This is a L3 move, with Easy to Combo (1), Increased Knock Back (1), and Increased Damage (2) and I have Control 6 this round. If I'm not mistaken, that leaves 3 control points left, which I can use for a combo, right? My combo skill is 2.

Re: OOC
In this case, after refreshing my own memory on the rules, you'd be able to do a total of 3 moves(2 basic attacks plus the Bunny Hop). Easy to Combo means Bunny Hop doesn't count against your combo limit, so three hits in total(if you choose to do that).

The total cost of the Combo is the number of basic moves plus the cost of the special move, so at most it'd cost you 5 Control to pull off, with one left over. Bunny Hop, is also required to be in the last position of the combo(thanks to Increased Knock Back). Regardless, I'm fairly certain if you hit this round that your opponent has so little health he's going down.

If I recall correctly, You'd be attacking with -2 Accuracy(if doing a full three moves with the special move), but you could spend FS to bring that up to -1. Or you could simply do the Bunny Hop, costing you 3 Control points, and you'd be attacking with a 0 Accuracy Bonus, which you could bump up to a +1.

Re: OOC

Thanks for the explanation and refresher! Iím in the process of remembering / re-learning it all, myself. I think Iíll just keep it simple this time and go with the Bunny Hop, without the combo, and with the +1 Accuracy bonus. And I roll 1d6+1 for the attack roll, right?

Re: OOC
this is correct. Given the strengths in question, I think you'll only have to beat a 3, so a little bit better than a 50 50 shot.

Re: OOC

For the attack, I rolled:

10:55, Today: Bunny Sekushi rolled 3 using 1d6+1.  Bunny Hop!

That was a close one!

As far as damage, it's 1d10, but I lower it to 1d8 due to his Stamina, right?
