Hello all. :) My character is a Metis Bone Gnawer Philodox. He used to be a sort of wandering judge, with a habit of showing up wherever there was an underdog in need of some justice.

I may need some help with the nitty-gritty of chargen once we get into it. I know the earlier editions pretty well, and I own the fifth edition of Vampire and Hunter, but the 5E Werewolf book only seems to be available for preorder right now so I won't have it for a while.

Chargen will be similar to V5. X attributes at X rating and X skills and X rating etc. Please post any question you may have here.

Hi all!  Currently very busy, but saw I made it, so woohoo and hiya all!

Hmm, guess I might get started.

Strength 2 - Khaled is slight and sinewy, without much muscle.
Dexterity 3 - a life-long wanderer, Khaled is pretty light on his feet, but not astonishingly nimble.
Stamina 3 - he is, likewise, used to marching long distances and enduring a certain amount of hardship, but he's not amazingly hardy.

Charisma 4 - Khaled's sincere calls to decency and reason tend to resonate with people.
Manipulation 2 - Khaled is a straight talker, not one for elaborate rhetoric.
Composure 5 - Khaled is infinitely patient and does not get flustered.

Intelligence 3 - while not a sage, Khaled can at least remember a lot of detail about law and tradition.
Wits 4 - Khaled is wise and insightful, able to find a path through difficult moral terrain.
Resolve 2 - Khaled believes in his mission, but he still suffers from doubts and falls victim to despair.

Yeah, but I mean, the actual list of skills? Because in the old editions, there were usually variations between the game lines - werewolves had Primal Urge which no one else had, for example.

Persuasion 5, Insight 5 - Khaled is excellent at understanding the sources of disputes and settling them to everyone's satisfaction.

Etiquette 4, Academics 4, Politics 4 - he has a deep knowledge of traditions and social customs, and rarely steps on any toes unless he intends to.

Leadership 4, Intimidation 3 - he has a soft but undeniable authority about him.

Survival 3, Stealth 3, Larceny 3, Brawl 3, Streetwise 3, Medicine 3 - Khaled has spent a lot of time among people living in desperate circumstances, and who need to be resourceful and self-sufficient as a result.

Investigation 3 - sometimes the roots of an argument go deep, and you have to dig for them.

Athletics 2, Awareness 2, Melee 2 - Khaled is in reasonable but unremarkable fighting shape.

Animal Ken 2 - he has had to escape an angry guard dog or hungry jackal or two in his day.

Performance 2 - he can work a crowd to an extent, but he's not a natural showman.

Craft 2, Driving 2, Firearms 2 - Khaled hasn't got a lot of experience with anything that requires owning expensive gear.

Subterfuge 2 - he can lie if he needs to, but he dislikes it.

Finance 2, Occult 2, Science 2, Technology 2 - Khaled isn't ignorant, but his education consists mostly of things he's picked up along the way.

Received my hard cover 5th ed book today (have been using the pdf) it is soooo pretty!

It is very good. I am trying to rebuild by perception of Werewolf with just the new source book; it is hard!

How is everyone doing? Are characters created? See Assata and Khaled are progressing...

Mmm... I may need some help with werewolf-specific Merits, Flaws and Backgrounds. Is there anything I should almost definitely have that isn't in the V5 book?
