He and Ulle are on the other side of a pit full of spears..

Piestar is saddened at the need to have killed the weasels, but their training and violence had made that a necessity.

Turning, she attempts to find a way across the pit. If it is shallow enough, she will lower herself down, carefully cross it, and climb back up.

I assume I have found no invisible targets? hearing Astrid's comments, Ulle with being looking for tracks, and signs of blood so they can follow the sorceress once everyone is on the same side of the pit. He makes a mental marker to come back and skin the weasels.

She is obviously staying well back of you Ulle!

Roll to track from where she vanished to see if you pick up her blood trail, the floor is quartz stone like the walls and center spindle.

I have no clue what bonuses or penalties there might me, here is a raw percentile.

Astrid went toward the side of the pit, where there was perhaps two and a half feet to five of space to walk safely on, and made her way over to join Kestrel.

Once there, she took her coil of rope from her pack, and began binding the kobolds...

Adan continues searching the fallen.

In a low voice to those on his side of the pit, "The trail leads behind the pillar I think."

Kestrel nods to the other ranger. "Once Astrid has these three trussed up Adan can question them, or we leave them here, or we can toss them in there, for all I care," he gestures to the pit of spears.

"Let's wait for the others to join us before we move on."

6 spears and six crossbows with 120 bolts.

Having finished with her work, she listened to Ulle's words, then nodded at Kestrel's advisement, finding no disagreement there.

From a belt pouch she extracted a poultice, and began to treat her own injury with it.

Astrid Silverveil rolled 3 using 1d3.  poultice.

Adan decalres, "Got coins for later. For now, anyone need spears, crossbow or bolts? A single dagger too. Anyone mind if I hvae the dagger?"

Unless anyone objects, Adan stows the dagger in a sheath in his boot. With a crossbow across his back and and a scroe of bolts stwed away the elf goes to talk to the prisoners. "What do you want me to ask them?"

He warms them up, [Language unknown: "Evngne ma! Sisti pe rohat il hopltr e fo comortill?"]

Unable to understand their tongue, and unwilling to watch if Adan starts to torture them, Piestar heads over to stand at the back of Ulle, wondering at the location of the sorceress.

"Where is the sorceress' lair? would be a good start! And maybe how many more kobolds are about? Anymore weasels?"

"Truly loyal, or afraid?" mused Astrid, watching.

"The first is harder to overcome than the second." 

Moving over to them Adan focuses on those tied up. "Anyone squeamish should move along now."

The first two die on the spears, the third answers

Astrid hadn't budged.

"Well that seems to have done the trick.   What does he say?"   

"That he's willing to answer questions. Please bear with me," answers Adan.

The elf continues questioning, [Language unknown: "Ast eealen haul ingwhesti terhatstr tha?" ] and then after listening for a response, [Language unknown: "Uldifo is ssec eenessyinconkor usine?"]

While Kestrel is wiping the gore from his sword onto one of the corpses, listening as Adan speaks to the kobolds, he is surprised to hear a yelp and a thud. Turning he sees that only two prisoners remain, and the Wild Elf has a second close to the edge of the pit.

Before he can interject, that kobold follows its brethren onto the spears.

The last one apparently decides to converse.

"Was that really nece..." Kestrel's lets the question die on his tongue. He was angry enough to do the same only a few moments ago, and their companion Kossoth died in the same manner not minutes ago.

"Perhaps it was." He answers his unasked question, and waits for Adan to translate.
