Re: OOC Thread

Since we haven't used it much yet, I want to replace the old REST move with one that makes more sense to me, below:

--Rest:
When you rest for a few hours (at least 4), you may roll 2d6 plus your Forceful modifier.
--10 or better: You get 2d4+1 HP back
--7-9: You get 1d4+1 HP back
--6 or lower: you get 1 HP back

Getting STRESS damage back for the same rest period is rolled separately, using your Confident modifier:
--10 or better: You get half your total stress back.
--7-9: You get 1d4+1 stress back.
--6 or lower: You get 1d2 stress back.

Anyone wanna stop me...?

Re: OOC Thread

Sounds like no one wants to stop me (see previous post in this thread).

In other news: I have been just about out of my mind with anxiety over the election, which obviously is not over.

I expect to return when this anxiety is resolved satisfactorily.

For obvious reasons, let's just say I feel more calm at this time, and that I hope to resume tomorrow... Or soonish, anyway...

However...

"WHY ARE YOU HAVING TROUBLE TODAY, GM?"

Besides atmospheric conditions of a hurricane pushing a few million pounds per square inch (distributed over hundreds of miles, of course) around half the country, a family member isn't feeling well today (I think there's a connection, really), and I'm trying to keep them entertained.

Tomorrow... seems more likely for me to finish catching up...? Maybe...

"WHY ARE YOU HAVING TROUBLE TODAY, GM?"

Today, the weather was slightly less bad, and the fam has been doing much better, so the main problem has been catching up on things after falling behind.

I haven't forgotten you guys though, and hope to deal tomorrow, because my schedule does seem to be calming down again, at least for a while...

1. I seem to be back, for the moment.

2. Manhunter and Rider, you may show up at where Diana is.

3. I have PMed Malkos to see if he plans to return...

3. Yeah I am going to presume that Malkos is not coming back unless I hear otherwise. I'll run him as a minimal-function NPC like Spider-Man.

2. Manhunter and Rider, you may show up at where Diana is.

4. Diana, if you get tired of waiting for the boys to show up, you may choose to just post again on your own if you wish.

Well, whatever the results, they were successful...

Each of you roll damage, and I'll see how bad the clobber-ees get hurt

This is Hell's Kitchen, so you're only one borough (as they say it here) away...

1. I am under the impression that no one is posting (nor indeed logging in) because of the Thanksgiving holiday season? If so, that's perfectly not a problem!

2. BUT IF I'M WRONG, if I should be fostering more momentum, say the word and I'll move the action to the Southside borough...

...but I am NOT rushing you.

I imagine you're all just taking time off to do Seasonal Things...

But tell me if I'm wrong.

That makes me both want to move things forward AND wait and chill.

I guess I'll chill until/unless someone else speaks up about moving forward...

Hate to seem dumb, Manhunter, but just for the sake of absolute clarity: it is in fact Von Doom you are attacking, correct? And not just his army of automata, nor any other available target...?

Okay: I admit to being guilty of the following: When y'all stopped, I didn't nudge you.

Having said that... I think this game has terminally lost momentum, yeah?

Anyone got a problem with me closing things up here...?
