The Manhunter:
"That will not happen," Manhunter replied. Doom had possibly made a tactical error here. While they could not face down his entire army, the three of them together could certainly face down Doom himself. The only problem was that Doom had arrived in an instant without them even noticing, and thus could probably remove himself from the field of battle if he chose.
Thus, the heroes needed to strike quickly.
The Manhunter rolled 15 using 2d6+3 ((6,6)).

--Avoid Retaliation
The Manhunter rolled 10 using 3d3,d4 ((2,1,3,4)).
The Manhunter flies straight at Von Doom-- and bounces off an invisible field.
"By the eye of Shuma-Gorath!" roars Von Doom.
"You caused my sphere of magical protection to fail-- in just one attempt!" He taps on some jewels on his right bracer... A bubble of light green energy re-forms around him-- and then disappears again.
"And I cannot re-form it! What power! You have impressed the monarch of Latveria, warrior-- and have earned his full attention! Doomata! Attack! Target the green flyer-- and the amazon! I must have that book!"
"YES MASTER" all the Doommata respond, and they move forward, firing beams of energy from their gauntlets.
They're terrible shots, though-- no one is hit in their first assault...
Although the Stranger gasps-- some of those beams are hitting the bubble around Black Adam-- it's likely he'll break free soon...
Von Doom himself levitates upward, and forward-- great, he can fly, too. Terrific.
