Character Descriptions

Hello Travelers!

This thread will be specifically to provide a detailed description of your character.  Hair color/type, eye color, clothes worn, general build, male/female, etc....

The more information the better.

Please do not include any background information.  We can leave the post open, so that any background information revealed to other characters can be added, so as to remind others, should they need to reference it for developing the story.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Character Descriptions

Althaea Sylvaranth is an Eladrin, but to most folks, she probably just looks like an elf. She is 5'8", has olive skin, hazel eyes, and wavy, waist-length auburn hair. She is slender, with an ethereal beauty, as if she was blessed by the gods. She wears her Elven Chain underneath her traveling clothes to help muffle the sound of the links clinking together and to help keep dust out of it. Her traveling clothes are elven in style, but not like any of the elves you've encountered in Vertigo. They are older in fashion with a sense of a wild, mischievous playfulness. Most often they are a combination of green and brown in color with some hints of reds to help camouflage her in the trees. Around her hips, she wears a worn weapons belt where her dagger and rapier are clasped.

I imagine she looks a bit like this, though the clothing style is different. Holland Roden is gorgeous and I love her.

Character Descriptions

A female Half-elf Andraste stands just shy of 170 cm tall. She is strongly built, her muscles conditioned for endurance, carrying the weight of her armour, and wielding a sword. She wears her hair loose and swept back from her forehead and reaching down to just passed her shoulder blades. Her eyes are bright green, the colour inherited from her elven mother but shaped like her human father. Her Splint mail has seen significant use, mismatched leather and metal strips show were repairs have been made; despite that, it is well maintained and fully functional. When not wearing her armour she prefers plain practical clothes, usually a gray tunic and blue-gray pants trimmed in white. Around her neck hangs a sturdy chain necklace which reaches mid chest with an attached pendant of a white heart. Her most extravagant possession is her hooded cloak which is a deep emerald green with leaves embroidered in a lighter green swirling around the edges. The cloak's material is so smooth it seems to glow in the light of the sun.

Character Descriptions

A giant 6'2". 280 lbs, mechanical looking being of metal and wood, that only wears a red cloak. He always has  a mechanical mischievous owl familiar and a giant metallic beetle-like robot with a bad temper that follow him around. There is some rust on the giant's metal parts, but none on the animals. He fights with a spear and shield.

His face has very basic features with a movable jaw that allows it to speak, but none of muscles that allows expressions, permanently frozen in a blank expression. The eyes do glow with a solid dark purple color. The warforged has learned to nod when he wants to express a smile, a negative head movement for displeasure and to cock his head to the side when he's curious, but he's very limited to show his expressions. His builders wanted quickly built expendable soldiers, not philosophers!

The warforged also has a speech impairment, being incapable to speak at the first person, further limiting how he can express himself. He sounds simple because of it, but it would be a mistake to think so. Maybe he got damaged and needs specialized healing? Who knows?

Character Descriptions

First Impression:
Seemingly always standing where the shadows are deepest, the only visible part of the cloaked and hooded figure is her right arm. Deep scratches gauge her leather bracer; a sharp-edged metal armband encircles her bicep. On her pauldron sits a clockwork creature, fashioned from a myriad of tiny mismatched pieces. Though it gives the general impression of being a bird of prey, its proportions are subtly wrong in every respect as if it had been crafted from memory and scrap metal by an inexpert hand.

Physical Description:
On the rare occasions when she is without her cloak, Thorn is revealed to be an elf of average size and build. Her only remarkable features are ash blonde hair braided and secured in a tight bun, gold-flecked verdant eyes and coppery skin tinged faintly with blue as if from perpetual cold. Her gear – leather armor, chakrams worn around her arms, an odd recurved short sword at her side, and the buckler on her back – have all clearly seen a great deal of use, but are carefully maintained. She travels with her clockwork kite Aisling.
