Gar did not disagree with Infused, and held a hand out, feeling teh cold of his body. The wizard walked slowly, lettiing infuse lead the way as Lyn perched on his shell (cowering).

Re: (IC) 2: Search for the Seals

Althaea, accompanied by Alaric, crossed the threshold of the Keep. Her keen eyes immediately noticed the mass of undead scattered throughout the courtyard of the keep. At first glance, she counted ten skeletal warriors, seven who missed pockets of flesh, and three skeletal archers. While Althaea had tried to keep silent, Alaric had not seemed to get the memo and his armor clanged with each step. The undead horde all turned their gazes on the pair and started to move in their direction.

Althaea knew they could not take on that many targets at one time, but she had something up her sleeve for that. She just needed them to get closer together. She thought she might be able to take out one of the closer targets in the meantime, though. Althaea targeted the closest undead to her and placed upon it, a spell of cursing. Then, she aimed her eldritch energy at it to follow.

Alaric targeted the same creature as Althaea, not willing to leave her side, he threw a handaxe.

Re: (IC) 2: Search for the Seals

"Sand only could see big teeth before Sand's mind was sent back to this body, friend Thorn. Sand can not say if it was the dragon or not." The dismissive, patronizing words rang in Thorn’s ears.

She did not grit her teeth. But she wanted to. Apparently, since they could not be absolutely certain of the dragon’s presence all the others intended to proceed as planned. Despite the fact that the last time they ignored her sensible advice, Thorn nearly lost her eyes. And Gar did. Thus putting them at an even greater disadvantage in this encounter.

Frustration arose in her – at their stubborn insistence on proceeding against all wisdom here and in the forest, at her disturbed trance, at this broken and illogical place that she had imagined as some sort of paradise, and at herself for being a complete and utter fool.

Suddenly, she very much wanted to kill something. As the foulness of the approaching undead settled over her like a shroud, she decided they would do very well indeed. For now, at any rate.

Staying behind the party, Thorn slipped toward the narrow shadow cast by the keep’s entrance.

The undead flooded towards them, but Thorn saw no sign of the maw that had consumed Sand's owl. Disconcerted, she sent Sel'zir and Aisling out from under cover to search for it while she turned her attention to their nearest foe. Her chakrams flew forward.

Her weapons and companions - their attempt unsuccessful - had barely returned to her when a wall of earth erupted in front of her feet, high enough to almost block her vision.

"Sand, not so high," she instructed, voice firm but emotionless as always.

Unwilling to risk being blocked Thorn repositioned herself between Gar and Clacker. If she had judged the distance correctly, she should be able to dart forward, attack the main mass of the enemy and return to the wall. Probably.

Re: (IC) 2: Search for the Seals

Sand was preoccupied by the tactical situation he had seen with Scamp's eyes and was too late to stop Althaea and Alaric to foolhardily walk in the ruined keep and start attacking the undead

No! Friend come back in defences!

With a few words, he magically created a 5 foot deep, 10 feet long and 2 1/2 feet wide hole, starting at one of the door walls, bringing the soil towards the group in a neat barricade of the same dimension.

Today: Sand rolled 4 using 1d20+2.  init.

Hopefully I'm clear enough in my design, now 10 feet of the 20 feet wide doorway has a 5 foot deep hole and a 5 foot tall wall to pass before reaching us on that 10 feet of doorway

I lay my hand my right hand gently on Harmony's neck and whisper a short benediction, the palm of my hand to cool for a moment and muscles in her neck to briefly shiver. I draw my sword and  Harmony surges forward taking us away from the gate, around the closest undead and amongst the nearby cluster.

"Ware the crossbows on the walls." I call back to the others as I swing my sword at one of the skeletons.

Turn 01 Summary
Giltris
Bonus Action: Cast Sanctuary, target Harmony
Action: Attack, target X (to-hit 16 for 7 slashing damage and to-hit 9 for 10 slashing damage)
Reaction: Opportunity attack (to-hit 13 for 10 damage) unless a friendly creature within 30 feet is hit by an attack that does 20 or more damage then I will use Rebuke the Violent.

Sanctuary
1st Level Abjuration
Casting Time: 1 bonus action
Range/Area: 30ft.
Components: V, S, M(a small silver mirror)
Duration: 1 minute
Attack/Save: WIS 16

You ward a creature within range against attack. Until the spell ends, any creature who targets the warded creature with an attack or a harmful spell must first make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature must choose a new target or lose the attack or spell. This spell doesn't protect the warded creature from area effects, such as the explosion of a fireball.

If the warded creature makes an attack, casts a spell that affects an enemy, or deals damage to another creature, this spell ends.

Channel Divinity: Rebuke the Violent
Immediately after an attacker within 30 ft. deals damage with an attack against a creature other than you, you can use your reaction to force the attacker to make a WIS saving throw (DC 16). On failure, the attacker takes radiant damage equal to the damage it just dealt, or half damage on success.

Since he lost his eyes, he'd been thinking how to overcome the hurdle of his sight (or lack there of). His most obvious tool was Lyn, and throughout the trip he praticed with minor spells. ths, however was the first time he would be using it in pratical use.

(IC) 2: Search for the Seals

Combat - Round 1

As the heroes turned the corner and entered the  crippled keep, the party couldn't help but notice the mass of bodies meandering around the courtyard.  The creatures, some skeletal and others missing bits of flesh, were all armed with various bits of armor, some of which hung loosely on their emaciated frames. Those walking about didn't hold any weapons, just brandishing their outstretched skeletal hands, but there were those mounted high up on the walls that bore crossbows and bows, raining bolts and arrows down at the heroes.

The courtyard at one time must have been breathtaking, as the formation and quality of the stone in the walls left nothing to be desired and showed just how prominent Sebastian was before the Upheaval happened.  Some of the open areas near the buildings showed remnants of constructed flower beds and gardens or where fountains may have been.  The stone pathway, now in complete disarray, looked to be made of polished marble as if leading to a celestial plane.

Ever since Gar lost his eyes, he had been both nervous about and anticipating when this moment would come, and when it did, he was ready.  Perhaps a little too ready.  His nervous energy coupled with the slight offset of perception when firing from Lyn's eyes, made his bolt of fire a couple inches wide of the skeleton's head.

Thorn ducked behind the lip of the keep's doorway, trying to make herself as small and unnoticeable as possible, as the creatures started walking towards the keep's doors. Selzir crouched behind her, waiting for instruction, and Aisling sat on her pauldron, eyes and talons ready.

Giltris rode into battle atop Harmony, swinging at the skeleton twice in quick succession, but was only able to connect with the first, dealing considerable damage to the creature, as a piece of skull fell to the ground.

Althaea fires two blasts from her fingertips, the first slamming into the creature with pockets of flesh missing.  The creature goes flying to the ground, but not before it screams in unearthly pain.  Seeing the first one fall, she quickly shifts her stance and sends the second blast at a nearby skeleton, taking off part of its ribcage.

It was then that the mass of creatures moved towards the heroes.

The creatures swarmed them like wolves and a fresh carcass, and although some of the creatures wanted to attack the large meaty horse in front of them, for some reason decided that the half-elf swinging her sword atop it was the greater threat, through no choice of their own.  Only one was able to break through and hit the warhorse with its skeletal hands.  The others clawed feverishly or shot at the armor clad Giltris, but only one of the creatures missing pockets of flesh, was able to penetrate through her protective wall of metal.

Near the entrance of the keep, the creatures amassed around Althaea and Alaric, practically surrounding them.  Those within arms length couldn't connect with their skeletal claws, nor did those that rained bolts from crossbows high above.

Infused gently walked Gar forward, and once he was able to get him settled where Sand planned to raise a wall, he reached out his senses for any magical influence around him.  Within moments, he gets a sensation that one of the creatures to the east is under the influence of a magical enchantment.

Sand walks forward, cracks his mechanical knuckles and immediately gets to work forging a wall, by pulling the dirt from behind Alaric up and into a fortification ten feet wide and five feet deep.  Clacker positions himself to the right of the wall, per Sand's instruction, ready and waiting for the second defense to go up, so he could protect the only entryway.

Alaric, seeing the horde in front of him as he rounded the corner, stumbled in surprise, causing him to make much more noise than he had hoped, drawing the attention of the creatures.  He quickly recovered as he whipped out his longsword and proceeded to cut down two of the skeletal creatures in front of him.

Harmony takes 4 points of damage.
Giltris takes 5 points of damage.
The creature that is 7 squares east and 2 squares north of you is under a spell and the school of magic is Enchantment.
Four of the skeletal creatures were destroyed and one of the creatures with missing flesh was killed.

Re: (IC) 2: Search for the Seals

As soon as main body of the enemy moved within range and the skeletons attacking Althaea and Giltris fell, Thorn dashed forward to occupy their position, her normally expressionless face intensely focused.

Over the past weeks, Thorn had experienced stretches of idleness for the first time in her life. Having so long to think had not, perhaps, been entirely beneficial but it had given her hours to devote to spellcraft. And a peculiar notion had begun to take root, one that had proven impossible to dislodge: the steel of her chakrams – so black they seemed to drink light – actually thirsted and if nourished appropriately, they could grow.

At first it seemed impossible, but the more she had considered it, iron ore and flora were both part of Nature and if infused with its very essence . . . Now seemed as good an opportunity as any to attempt it.

In a smooth motion, Thorn cut her thumbs on the bladed edge of her weapons and focused her will, visualizing her intent and letting the pressure build in her mind. Then, in a sudden surge, she flung chakrams and spell together, whispering "Grow," in elven.

As her weapons flew through the air, dark green lianas erupted from the cold steel, tipped with razor sharp golden thorns, just the color of the flecks in her eyes. The force of their strike on the undead sent the barbs erupting five feet in every direction, piercing of all nearby foes.

Perhaps, Thorn reflected as her hand snapped up to catch her vine-covered chakram, leisure was not entirely wasteful.

Then she quickly withdrew lest she find herself on the wrong side of Sand's fortifications.

Thorn holds her action until main body of the enemy moves within 60 ft and the skeletons attacking Althaea and Giltris fall.
Split Movement: Thorn moves forward 20 ft.
Aisling helps.
Bonus Action: Hail of Thorns
Action: Thorn attacks an undead with at least two other enemies (but no allies) within 5 ft.
Primary Weapon Main Attack: 15, 26 (Advantage)

Primary Weapon Extra Attack: 23
Damage: 10
Off-Hand Weapon Extra Attack: 10 (Chakram Lost)
Damage: 10
Split Movement: Thorn retreats 20 ft.
Reaction (if applicable): Bracer Reflection

Hail of Thorns

1st-level conjuration

Casting Time: 1 bonus action
Range: Self
Components: V
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

The next time you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack before the spell ends, this spell creates a rain of thorns that sprouts from your ranged weapon or ammunition. In addition to the normal effect of the attack, the target of the attack and each creature within 5 feet of it must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 1d10 piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

At Higher Levels. If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d10 for each slot level above 1st (to a maximum of 6d10).

Bracer Reflection

Starting at 5th level, you've learned to reflect attacks with your bracers. Whenever you would be hit by an attack, you may use your reaction to shield yourself with your bracers. You gain a +5 bonus to AC against all attacks, including the attack that provoked this reaction, until the beginning of your next turn.

You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a short or long rest.

The battle was on and Sand was not happy about it, as he hadn't had time to fully prepare his defences, his companions recklessly charging on... he only needed a few seconds more!

Friends come back in defences!

Tapping the ground with his hand, another block of earth magically rose from the ground and spread itself to create a diagonal wall, leaving a single entrance, creating a chokepoint that would be more easily defended. Almost as an afterthought,  he added two steps on the inside, so the smaller members could shot over the wall. (OOC See map on discord)

Seeing Andraste coming back on Harmony, he told her.

Sand needs your help! Andraste put lots of water between the pits!

Now that Althaea no longer had to worry about catching Giltris in her spell, she weaved her hands through the air to call the magic forth and targeted the main group of undead in front of them.

"Target those who don't succumb to my spell first, then we can pick off the rest."

Swinging around, Alaric slashed at the zombie next to him, his longsword easily cutting the creature and it fell.

Hypnotic Pattern:
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 120 feet
Target: A 30-foot cube within range
Components: S M (A glowing stick of incense or a crystal vial filled with phosphorescent material)
Duration: Up to 1 minute
Classes: Bard, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard
You create a twisting pattern of colors that weaves through the air inside a 30-foot cube within range. The pattern appears for a moment and vanishes. Each creature in the area who sees the pattern must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature becomes charmed for the duration. While charmed by this spell, the creature is incapacitated and has a speed of 0.
The spell ends for an affected creature if it takes any damage or if someone else uses an action to shake the creature out of its stupor.

Re: (IC) 2: Search for the Seals

Combat -  Round 2

The four bolts of energy left Gar's hands, slamming into the two skeletons on the wall; pieces of bone shrapnel rained down from the blast, but alas, the skeletons still stood, crossbows raised.

Thorn held her ground, waiting for just the right moment to strike.

Giltris's plan to cluster the creatures for Althaea worked, and he quickly withdrew to stand beside his companions near Sand's fortifications.

Althaea loosed her spell, creating a scintillating pattern of colors in the air for only a moment before it vanished, leaving six of the creatures standing their, transfixed and in a daze.

It was then that the skeletal creatures not affected by the dazing spell, swarmed towards the heroes who had bunkered down at the front gate.

Two bolts come raining down from the skeletons from up on high, one each hitting both Alaric and Althaea.  The crossbowmen firing from the northeast and east locations, also shot at Althaea, but one shot goes wide, screaming past Infused's head, and hitting the inside wall of the front gate. The other thunking into the wall right in front of where Sand was standing.

The south eastern crossbowman can barely see Giltris from atop her horse, and sends a bolt slamming right into and through her armor.

Thorn, seeing her time to act now that the creatures had massed near Althea and Giltris, sprung forward.  She sent her enchanted chakrams, now fused with nature magic, at the creatures closing in.  The chakrams hit with deadly efficiency and the exploded outward, thorns piercing and breaking through the bones.  Three skeletons fell, lifeless once more.

Infused saw one of the creatures with missing flesh running straight for Althaea as she completed her spell, and acted.  As his sword burst into flames, he rushed forward, striking the creature with a heavy hit.  As the creature went down right in front of Althaea, for a split second, she saw the creature mouthing, "Help me", before crumbling to the floor...the flames dancing upon her unmoving body.

It was then that two winged creatures, with the upper body of a female humanoid and the lower body of an reptilian creature with scaly legs, clawed feet, and clawed hands with knotty fingers, flew out of hiding, their wings flapping as they land. One flew out of the door's archway on the upper level near the skeletal crossbowman and the other atop the broken wall with the two crossbowmen in the south.

It was then, the one from high on above, started singing a captivating and alluring song.

Alaric takes 8 points of damage.
Giltris takes 15 points of damage.
4 skeletons were charmed.
2 creatures with missing flesh were charmed.
3 skeletons were put to rest.
1 creature with missing flesh was burned to a crisp.

Everyone:  Please make a Wisdom saving throw against enchantment/charm.

Alaric saw the bolts coming toward him and Althaea and swung down with his longsword before the bolt managed to hit Althaea, slicing it in two before her eyes. He was, however, unable to stop the bolt from piercing his own flesh.

Infused came up beside Althaea and brandishing a flaming sword, cut down another zombie, but not before she saw the creature mouth "Help me," before crumbling to the ground. She noticed the eyes of the zombies around her were milky-white.

"The zombie-like creatures are under an enchantment of some sort. Knock them out if you can rather than kill them. We might be able to save them."

Althaea sees one of the winged creatures land on the wall in front of her and she quickly sends her eldritch bolts at it.

Alaric, not willing to leave Althaea's side, waited to see if any creatures close the distance currently between them.

(IC) 2: Search for the Seals

Infused looked up at Althea, "These undead still have their thoughts?" Infused fell back to the defenses that Sand had constructed, with his mind reeling. All of his research and experience had taught him that zombies and skeletons were nothing more than corpses caused to be moved around by necromantic magic, and nothing more. When he had found his master animated in such a way, Infused had cut him down without hesitation, unwilling to let his teacher and friend be forced to dance on the strings of another.

But what if his master had not been a mindless husk? What if he'd been trapped in some kind of curse that could have been cured?

~Could I have helped him? I killed him. I just...killed him.~

There was probably something he should do to contribute to this fight, but he stood there, flaming sword held out in front of him, staring into its flames as worries and doubts consumed his thoughts. His head, and the sword, slowly lowered as he zoned out of the present and retreated into his memories.

(IC) 2: Search for the Seals

Gar held some satisfaction that the magic missies hit and his plan to see through Lyn's eyes was working...though difficult. He heard the song, and frowning, used all his mental skill to push away the magical alure to the magic.

The tortle, looking down, held his hand up towards the skeleton above his head and barked a simple command

A mote of fire erupted from his hand and sped up towards the skeleton above them, slamming the skeleton with fire. His head still facing down, the tortle smiled. If the skeletons were intelligent, they would be confused as to how he was doing this.

(IC) 2: Search for the Seals

As Giltris was taking the decanter, Sand heard a voice and lifted his head to it, almost snapping his neck connection to look towards it before the body followed. His purple crystal eyes glazed over, he started to walk right in the barricade he had created seconds earlier. Seeing the obstacle, he looked left and right, saw the opening and walked to it, instantly turning back north east the moment the earthen wall was passed.

Right into the pit the earth had came from, the artificer falling into a heap of metal and wood limbs in the narrow 2 1/2 foot wide, 5 feet deep hole. Scrambling to get his feet back under him, Sand looked confused as to how he got in a hole and tried to get out of it, still looking north east.

(IC) 2: Search for the Seals

"Knock them out if you can rather than kill them."

Now Thorn was supposed to refrain from destroying even the undead? Gar seemed to either not have heard Althaea or be ignoring her. For a moment Thorn considered doing the same. Kill enough of the pets and their mistress will eventually be forced to appear. Tempting, but inefficient.

As she began searching anew for the necromancer, Thorn caught sight of the winged humanoids Aisling had described. But how best to target -

The melody the creature sang sounded so familiar. Like something she had known when she was very young but since forgotten. How many songs from her childhood had she lost? If she moved closer, perhaps she could recall this one.

The vines on Thorn's chakram vanished as all her attention focused on the sound. She drifted forward, past her companions and into the courtyard, heedless of the undead that now surrounded her.

Aisling - who had anticipated her need and fetched her lost weapon - flew toward her ready to drop the chakram into her hand, but it remained limp by her side. Confused, the stimfay flapped about in front of her calling out in alarm as he futility attempted to gain her attention.

Sel'zir, suddenly robbed of the increased intellectual capacity she had gained through the bond, shifted uncertainly before trailing in Thorn's wake, somehow seeming tentative despite her massive, bulbous frame.

(IC) 2: Search for the Seals

The sound of strange singing sends a tingle down my spine and beneath me I feel Harmony shudder slightly. The sound is soft, lulling but something about it seems wrong, invasive and as I look about for the source I see Thorn stumbling forward into the courtyard her weapons limp in her hands and her eyes glazed. Something is very wrong.

Spotting the creature high up on one of the interior buildings I urge Harmony forward, ignoring the mangled creature nearby and run towards the wall, looking around hurriedly for a means to reach the creature and cease her song. But there is nothing.

I struggle to hold back the frustration and to maintain my focus as I stare up the sheer surface of the wall and the edge of the roof far above my reach when a new feeling of heat, like I had been standing under the noon day sun at the height of summer, erupts from my centre and I find myself hanging in mid-air amidst a swirl of green leaves, the rooftop edge teasingly just within my reach.

Desperately, I reach out and catch myself on the edge, my dropped sword skittering perilously close to falling off the edge back to the courtyard below. With a heave i haul myself up onto the roof and pick my sword back up; all those early morning exercises were totally worth it. Ahead of me the strange bird-lizard-woman is turning to face me, her wings beginning to unfurl as I launch forward slamming into her with my shield and sending us both over the edge and plummeting to the ground far below, landing with a hard, crunching impact.

Reeling from the impact I struggle back to my feet and drive my blade deep into the creature's side as a wave of cool energy flows down my arm and into the blade, before readying myself for whatever comes next.

(IC) 2: Search for the Seals

Combat - Round 3

Gar is able to shake off the effects of the creature’s song and quickly sends a firebolt slamming into the skeleton above, reducing it nothing more than a pile of bones.  Some of the bones teeter on the edge of the battlement, eventually falling off and rain down into the pit next to Infused.
Thorn, entranced by the captivating song, works her way around the raised earthen wall that Sand constructed, moving towards the alluring song of the bird creature from high above.

Giltris, in a show of heroism only found in story books, starts climbing up the wall before disappearing and reappearing next to the bird creature, who looks both confused and shocked at the sudden appearance of the armor-clad warrior.  Not long after, Giltris slams into the bird creature, both careening off the edge; the creature’s wings flap in protest, but the weight of the armor and the half-elf within, are too much for them, their efforts futile.  Giltris, manages to maneuver herself just enough so that both him and the creature crush the skeleton below them.  When Giltris stands up, she can see some of the skeleton’s bones piercing the bird creature at odd angles, but the creature still seems to hang on to life, even after a swift jab of Giltris’ sword lays deep into her.  The wind knocked out of her, the harpy’s song ceases and frees Thorn from her reverie.
Seeing some of the heroes pour out of the defenses, the skeletons and zombie like creatures’ surge forward, surrounding Sand, Thorn, and Althaea quickly.

The two skeletons target Althaea with their swords, both making it past her defenses, but one who couldn’t make it past Alaric.  Just as the skeleton’s blade was about to slam down into Althaea’s left shoulder, Alaric’s blade met and deflected it.  However, the other skeleton’s sword, too far for Alaric to parry it, digs deep into Althaea’s side.

From up and behind Alaric, the skeletal crossbowman lets loose a bolt that finds purchase in Alaric’s back, who recoils from the unexpected blow; his mindset too focused on keeping Althaea alive.

The two remaining skeletal crossbowmen on the southern wall now focused their attention where there was a loud crash, shooting at Giltris, but both bolts harmlessly deflecting off her armor.

Infused, in a moment of reflection, was able to shake off the harpy’s song, but was currently lost in a much deeper hole than the one Sand had dug.

The harpy on the southern wall, seeing what became of her sister, quickly put some distance between her and half-elven warrior, so she would not meet the same fate, though it didn’t stop her from starting a song of her own.

Sand, allured by the harpy’s song, stumbles into his own pit and as the song stops and he is snapped back into reality, he is left wondering how he got there.

Alaric quickly targets and dispatches a skeleton that had just run up to him and Althaea, hearing her words about the potential to save the non-skeletal creatures.

It was then, that a large shadow from above blocked the little sun making its way through the thick clouds and onto the courtyard.  With amazing alacrity, a large green dragon missing pockets of flesh from its body, sees an opportunity with the heroes massed by the front gate and speeds down, releasing a powerful poisonous gas in the mass of heroes.

Gar finishes off a skeletal crossbowman.
Althaea takes 8 points of damage.
Alaric blocks 9 damage from another skeleton, using his reaction.
Alaric kills a skeleton warrior.
Harpy A takes 35 points of damage and is currently prone.
Giltris kills a skeletal crossbowman.
Harpy B sings an alluring song:  Wisdom saving throw needed by everyone.
Green Dragon breath weapon:  45 poison damage.  22 if saved.  11 if both saved and resistant.
Due to initiative of the monsters, since most of you are taking additional damage, you can repeat the Wisdom saving throw for the Harpy’s song. (DC: 14)

Andraste's heroic maneuver  was lost to Sand, enchanted as he was in the song of the harpy, but the moment the monster struck the ground, he snapped out of it.

What happened? What does Sand do here?

He started to get out of the pit, when the second harpy's song reached him and he turned south, towards that enchantress, walking and completely oblivious to the dark shadow arriving over them. The poison cloud reached him but without lungs, he was highly resistant to that type of attack, that only snapped him out of his trance.

What? Again? What is that? Friends beware! A dragon! A green dragon!

Seeing his master awake, Clacker brought him his magical spear, held between his mandibles.

(IC) 2: Search for the Seals

INfused was lost inside another world that existed solely within his mind, until the poisonous gas of the dragon's breath shook his metallic frame and soaked into the organic bits that bound them together. As the painful burning sensation registered, he was brought back to the here and now. His eyes focused on the dragon and as they did so the poison gas absorbing into his body filled the chaotic reservoir of magic within him to bursting and pieces of his body began to blink in and out of existence as though someone were cutting pieces out of him and then putting them back in place.

Then he disappeared all together before reappearing right beside the dragon. With the arcane storm raging inside of him, and thoughts of murder and failure still flowed through his mind, Infused saw that be-chunked flesh of the green dragon in front of him and he swung his flaming sword with all the the raging chaos he could bring to bear.

(IC) 2: Search for the Seals

Gar smiled as he saw (through Lyn's eyes) the fall of the skeleton, but something brought her eyes down and she saw the dragon land in front of her friends - and him. The gas went out, and on instinct, the tortle held his breath, though some of the gas got through, burning his lungs.

With the unusual perspective, he reached into his pouch, finding it surreal seeing himself move. He felt the substance he wanted, and placing it on his finger, he smeared it on the palm of his other hand, and even though looking to what seemed the ruin's wall, held his hand up, letting one of his favorite spells flow through him towards the dragon.

<OOC: Gar rolled 16 using 1d20+2.  con save.

Action - Casts Slow at the undead dragon thingie.

Wisdom save 15 or speed is halved, it takes a −2 penalty to AC and Dexterity saving throws, and it can't use reactions. On its turn, it can use either an action or a bonus action, not both. Regardless of the creature's abilities or magic items, it can't make more than one melee or ranged attack during its turn.

If the creature attempts to cast a spell with a casting time of 1 action, roll a d20. On an 11 or higher, the spell doesn't take effect until the creature's next turn, and the creature must use its action on that turn to complete the spell. If it can't, the spell is wasted.>
