Battle Mode Engaged

Hood snarled audibly and began to strike out against her foes!

Rolled a series of attacks; the third is a 12 which might miss, stopping the chain, but starting with the two who hit Hood, of course.  Damage is 10.

Two more of the men went down as the last two arrived as backup.  These two men were carrying tactitcal shotguns and fired at you as the approached.

Hood closed with the men, slashing with her claws-- but they fired, and the cloak of her outfit protected her, but the force stopped her attack from connecting.

So, a miss on that attack roll.

The man continued to fire at you as they took cover behind the bar and flipped up tables for cover.

Hood closed with them, snarls turning into roars of rage!

15 and 19 this time.

You managed to take down the two with the shotguns, the last thug decided to flee instead of fighting and her ran right out the door.

She was behind him, and on top of him, like lightning.

"...Oh, dear," she said, flexing her claws.  "This isn't your day, is it?"

'Hey! Don't kill me! I give! I give!" the man pleaded.

"Give me your boss, then," snarled Hood.  "You can't run from me and you can't hide from me."

"If I do that, than she'll kill me," the man said.

"A name!" snarled Hood.  "I know what you were going to do to those girls.  What do you think I'm going to do to you?"

"I don't got a real name for her, I never saw her in person. She goes by Matriarch," the thug said.

Hood digested this.

"Run," she said.  "Keep running.  We won't talk a second time."

And she went to check on the captives.

The man fled as you headed back inside. The girls were gathered in the master bedroom upstairs, taking care of the new arrival.

"...So the pimps are gone," said Hood.  "New girl doesn't have to stay.  What's your next move?"

 "They are gone?" One of the girls asked in a thick Spanish accent. "Is this real or a joke?"

"Very gone," said Hood.  "You might have heard the gunfire.  And the screaming."

Most of the girls quickly left the bedroom, looking for the various telephones the house had. The girl who spoke with you and her friend stayed in the room, talking to each other in Spanish.

"What about you two?" Hood asked.  It didn't feel right to just... leave them.  Even if there wasn't that much she could do.

"We have no where to go," the first girl said. "We are here illegally and if we are deported the cartels will like take us and sell us again.

"...you need friends, and help," said Hood.  She handed over a card she'd been given once.

"Maybe they can help you.  Better than staying here."

The girls took the card and left.

Cait did, as well.  No telling who might turn up here, looking for her, or anything else...
