Well, now.  Cait's clothes shifted, forming the Wolfsuit variation that was Hood, and she hurried in that direction.

You see a group of three people trying to take cover, with a fourth on the ground, bleeding as two people unload on them with handguns.

Well, simple enough.  With a howl, Hood charged at the gunmen!

Hood was upon them at once, slashing and kicking!

"What the hell is that!" one of the thugs screamed as they barely dodged your attack before firing at you.

Hood laughed, howled, and renewed the attack with savage force!

The thugs went down this time.

Cait examined them to try and see who they were, or who they'd been with.

The men didn't seem to have any gang colours or anything obvious, besides both of them wearing a red, scowling smily pin.

Well, that was significant.  Hood took one and started looking around for more.

The pins do have some strange circuitry on the back of them when removed, but you hear more shots coming from down the street.

She kept a pin, but went sprinting off in the direction of the shots.

A group of five figures in heavy raincoats were walking down the street and firing at any people they saw.

Yeah, that wasn't going to stand.  With a howl, Hood was upon them, slashing and tearing.

28 is a crit!  If they are grunts, Takedown 2 to hit more of them, taking 10 on subsequent attack rolls.

You manage to takedown three of them, the remaining two opening fire on you.

The bullet was absorbed by the Suit, and she snarled, lunging at the remaining two gunmen.

You managed to take them down as well.

This was pretty crazy.  Why were they doing this?  She looked them over, seeing if they had any more similarities than the badges.

There are no other similarities. These ones do have the same badges with with a whole lot of circuitry

Hood had a bad feeling about this.  What did the badges actually do?  She tried to examine one...

You can tell that these things put out a signal that effects the victim's mind, introducing thoughts a victim can't ignore.

Yeah, that was bad.  But where had the come from?  She tried checking on one of the gunmen, hoping that they might have answers.

"What happen?" the clearly dazed man asked.

"The badge," said Hood.  "Where did you get it?  It was controlling you."
