No one else seems to have an opinion on the number of rolls. So if any two players please roll seven dice and drop the lowest two to see what we get.

Growth and Blessing. Growth will improve one resource by 1 point. Which one would you prefer?
We'll get into exactly what Blessing gives you at a later stage.

Re: OOC
When people start arriving, do you want to RP meeting and greeting each family? That will be a minimum of 14 houses. That way you get to interact with your guests and the Corbray and Melcom families who are binding themselves together in marriage as they arrive and get your first feeling for them IC. On the other hand, it may feel a little repetitive. Some options:
* Meet and greet all of them in the main thread for the wedding.
* Meet and greet all of them in a secondary thread or several secondary threads.
* Meet and greet some of them in the main thread.
* Meet and greet some of them in a secondary thread.
You will over the next few days have the possibility to interact with your guests as you choose.
It all depends on what you would find interesting.

Re: OOC
I would appreciate a bit of narrator guidance in terms of which characters are relevant to the upcoming story - i.e. I don't think it's necessary to meet all of the families "on screen" if ten of them are going to be irrelevant to the forthcoming tournament.
I there are particular houses that players have a reason to meet with [family relations, rivals, nemeses etc] then it might be worth meeting them even if they aren't relevant to this chapter of the story, as they may become relevant later on.
I think scenes should ultimately serve the greater story in some way, or why have them?

Re: OOC
I think Galad Hunter's comments are good, which would lead toward the third or fourth option. As for main or secondary, that would probably best be based off how much other stuff the main one will hold and if secondaries are needed for related things (such as tournament stuff).

Yes, it is generally for the family. Letting guests sit there is a way to honor them. During the feast after the wedding, it would be where the newlyweds would sit.

Then I think the heads of the two families who are getting married and our new Martel guest should be invited. I'm really curious what she's up to. Would it make sense to invite the bride and groom? I'm not sure if they are supposed to meet beforehand.

Having the couple meet before the wedding is not a problem, but having them in the High Seat before the wedding would be out of the ordinary. This message was last edited by the GM at 12:19, Mon 07 Dec 2020.

I noticed that I accidentally skipped the Melcolm family in my list of families you were to be introduced to when they arrived. That's why I seated several of you with members of that family.
