Well, I'm willing to continue as a solo, but I'd prefer if we could recruit some more players.

I need to do a few things and my character should be ready.  Pretty busy today, but should have it done by tomorrow.

Well I'm joining the game I need diversions an attractive, wealthy Braavosi whose merchant trading family leader might be an Iron Bank Keyholder she's not in that level more a third cousin. But her allotment of the trading is 'substantial' and she's a Mummer (more a serious hobby). But was born disabled some.

You're playing a Braavosi merchant looking for a diversion, who has a family member who might be a Keyholder for the Iron Bank but she herself doesn't have that sort of clout. She does more than a fair share of the family's trade, but is also an actress on the side. Is that right?

A serious hobby but could be a Mummer if she wishes, one should have a hobby. Swordplay is not ladylike.

  Corwyn is a bit progressive. He's seen a lot of combat, a lot of cultures, he'd rather share drinks than swords with someone. He also dearly loves his family, and would have absolutely taught his neice the ways of the blade should it have interested her. Probably a secret he'd have kept from his brother.

Well a ,later on with a teacher, paired daggers looks cooler at some point - I can't fit in everything at first but she'll have some combat training. But she might be able to hire a few swords if needed, later on.

If you can't fight for yourself, coin bought is fine.

Show me a lass who wasn't taught something to defend her honor, some. A husband whose a knight  or men-at-arms is better.

Ooh, welcome! So who is Vardan?

Vardan is the heir presumptive of the house. The character Gold had started creating. This Vardan will obviously not be the same as that Vardan. So there may be things posted in various threads about that character that no longer holds true when this Vardan joins the game.

I'll let Magenta talk about him beyond that.

Alright, a bit about me.

Big things:  I love Swordfighting.  Swear I will become someone Jamie Lannister is compared to, instead of the other way around.  Also been known to have a tussle or two in the bar.

Some other things the observant might notice:  I like finery, and I always travel by coach. I never join Jousts, and am hardly ever in the stables.  Will fight in Melee's all day though.  Also, I tend to be proper.

  Well, my character is Ser Corwyn Sylvayn. Brother to the late lord Devon and thus uncle to Shara, Vandrose, and yourself. He is a knight of renown, known for competing at the Tourney of Harrrnhal but more so having saved Lord Jon Arryn in battle during Robert's Rebellion. He's decent with a sword but really shines with a spear in hand. May have been the first to give the siblings lessons in combat so they could protect themselves and others.

Personality I keep envisioning is akin to a knightly (and younger) Iroh from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Though replace tea with alcohol, haha.

  Apologies if I have been holding things up. I had a busy weekend, but I've submitted my character sheet to Dragondog finally. I am excited to get to play with all of you.

EDIT: So we've got my knight, uncle to the lord of the house and his siblings, we have two of said kids as players, and an interesting sounding Bravosi merchant?  I also see Vandrose was on just the other day, as well as White, are they rejoining us as well?

 So Corwyn has a cadre of veteran squad of cavalry. With Corwyn having the Famous quality and them as personal guard, I feel like they should have a moniker or some title for the unit, something that shows they stand out. I'm kind of drawing a blank though. While they answer to Ser Corwyn, we all serve House Sylvayn.  That being the case, anyone want to help me name them?
