(a) have read any of Robert E. Howard's Conan fiction or related works
(b) have played a D20 roleplaying game before
(c) have the Mongoose Conan Roleplaying Game materials available to you. (They are available online, so availability shouldn't be an issue.)

You can also let me know what class you plan to play, which I'll consider in terms of party balance -- but not necessarily to restrict what kind of character you'll make.
