Dr. Chimera - A Relaxing Night At Home

Two simulations were running on two different terminals; one bio-chemical and the other bio-mechanical.  Neither seemed to be working.  The bio-chemical simulation of the new formula came the closest to stability at .01% after adjusting the energy variable far beyond what was practical with these current systems.  And that was after 10 minutes at the heightened levels.  The bio-mechanical, a system for stabilizing (control) his shape, 'the pump' was unsuccessful from the start.  Even if the formula were ready, there was no way to administer and control this 'stop gap' measure.  Maybe the time for a cure was past...his cells to altered....

Emily grunted, "We learn something in failure.  HA! ARRGH!  No steps forward...."  She lets the last of her sentence trail off.  Rubbing her eyes, "We had more tools, agents, power and others to advise before.  We're limited now...sorry."

Dr. Chimera - A Relaxing Night At Home

In reply to The Game Master (msg # 1):

Simon felt the sudden rush of anger. He never got this angry before at a failed test. He actually punched the wall hard enough to break his hand. The pain was intense, and gone within a few seconds. His bones...both human and inhuman, re-set themselves and flesh restored  itself.

"It...its pointless. Shut it down." He said in his voice if human and animal growl. He  struggled to get control of himself, looking away from Emily. Not that she could see his expression. Under those bandages, he did not have a face...only a ever-changing mass of nightmare.

"We...we need to accept reality. Our work was never ment to work this fast or to effect the entire body. We need to rebuild all of our work models...and that could take years." He paused on that last part, as he lied to the woman he loved.

More like decades...if ever. He thought to himself. He would never say that to Emily. Mostly because it would make her sad, and angry he was giving up.

However, acceptance was one of the five stages of grief. So was denial...which Emily was still in. No one...not him, not her hero Doctor Norman Borlog, not Einstein, not her parents...could force Emily to give up. It was one of the things he loved about her.

But he could not live with the idea she would use up her youth and life sitting down here in these tunnels trying to get him back. It was crime...a crime of selfishness on his part to string her along.

"Listen...we need to talk about you finding new work. A new project. Up there...in the sunlight. We wanted to help people, remember? So you need to go do that. For both of us."

He could almost predict precisely how she would tell him to go screw himself. It was not the first time they had this conversation. Because they where both stubborn twits.

Dr. Chimera - A Relaxing Night At Home

Wrinkling her nose, she vigorously started to shake her head.  "No...no, no.  There is so much to do here.  You need the help...and...and we learn things even in failure."

She walked across the room twirling a fidget spinner; a toy of frustration.  It lit up as she spun it.  A little electric red circle in her hand.  She came close to Simon, but did not grab him.  Hold him....  "I did this to you.  We created this thing to save lives and it did.  It worked, even if it wasn't how we expected.  We can figure this out.  Together."

She wasn't mad; her voice was tender.  "Besides, what am I going to do after so long working on the 'cutting edge'.  Go to work as a nurse?  <snort> We need to keep things quiet.  I can't become the world renown scientist taking the world by storm. We need to keep it on the 'down low'."  She waved her hands around the 'lab' and hoped the bad joke would be taken as such.

In reply to The Game Master (msg # 3):

When she turned away, Simon found himself reaching for her. Trying to gently touch her shoulder to bring her in for a hug. Like he used to do when she needed comfort or...

Then he saw his hand. He saw the scales forcing themselves through the bandages even as he almost touched her. He pulled his hand away, covering with the more human wrapped other one. Then as she turned after no doubt seeing movement in her peripheral vision, he turned his body so she could not see the mutated limb. He hid it with his other arm.

"You did not do this...I did. When I stole the prototype. I...should have thought of another way." Granted he could not think what else to do. Legally they had no grounds to stand on. Chaneycorp held the patent, and had lied to them in their contracts. However, it would take years in the legal system to prove that-and Chaneycorp had the lawyers and the money to make that take forever. Certainly long enough to develop the WMD version of Emily's and his work.

"This is my fault, and my problem. You have no blame in it, and that more than just me telling you that. Legally, Chaneycorp only has a case against Simon Feck, not you. They have no proof you are involved. You can still have a career."

She gets stiff for a moment, and then turns back to face Simon.  "You don't think I'd be on their radar.  They won't let this lay...they want this, and will pursue any ends they can.  Maybe they think we are dead, but can we take that chance?  They are huge and have the resources to keep looking for any possible lead."  While talking, her hands were waving and encompassing the entire lab.  He eyes are pleading.

Standing up straight and running a hand through her hair, she exhaled heavy and loosened at touch, "What about coffee?  Charbucks?"  She cracks a little smile.

[OOC] A few questions....  What do you do with the simulations that have just ended?  You are continuously changing; do you ever bleed because of this?  Does it pain you to change at times (ala American Werewolf in London)?

In reply to The Game Master (msg # 5):

"Yeah...Charbucks sounds good." Granted with his system he could eat rotten garbage and still get nutrition out of it. His new body used every aspect of the animal kingdom to keep him alive. He could eat truly foul things...given what insects eat...but he did not want to experiment that way.

He wanted to tell her he was a jerk, and a creep, and did not love her anymore. Just to keep her away from his freakish existence. Emily was too smart to believe any of that, and he was a terrible actor.

"I will clean this up..." he said as he moved over to the samples.

OOC-samples are most likely absorbed back into the doctor himself. as he is virtually immune to posons, drugs and disease. Once absorbed, they will just be transformed by his constantly changing body.

Simon does not bleed, as he has the advantage of auto stabilization. Combined with his regen, out of combat he heals as fast as he is hurt. That includes his transformations. His body forms a brief cacoon, and generates heat and steam, converting it into mass (or less mass) depending on the size of the creature he is becoming. There is brief pain, but given the speed of the transformation(one automatic action) it does not last.

As Emily is leaving, "We'll start again...after a break.  One venti coming up.  And maybe a scone."  She hurries up the ramp that leads to the exit.

The computer screens are still glowing and on with the last simulations.

[OOC] I was not thinking you would bleed and take damage.  I was wondering from a role play standpoint.

[Private to Dr Chimera: What happens next is on you.  I have ideas, but want to see what he would do.  I'll riff off you to move to the next thing.]

Dr. Chimera - A Relaxing Night At Home

In reply to The Game Master (msg # 7):

Simon makes sure the security cameras track Emily's movements. He was very paranoid about her safety, and made sure she had a tracking device on her. He had to beg her to take it, mostly because he was terrified of her being picked up by Chaneycorp some dark night. It was not their typical MO, but they very well may go for a thuggish response to her interference.

He moved about the tunnels of his underground lab, looking much like a giant ant had dug out the place. Well...a giant beaver ant. Both animals natural instinct for construction made for easy building. He checked the hacked signal and the power supply from his electrified eel crab shell tank. He had to peel them off his own body, but it worked as a natural battery.

He kept his phone tracking Emily's location, thinking he should not have let her go out alone. Then again, he was not her jailer. He wanted her to have a life without his freakish fate dominating her. He would need to learn to let her go.

Of course, his feeling had not changed. He was just afraid of what might happen to her...or what he might accidentally do to her. For now, he made sure to check his base for needed repairs. Watching the local news and checking the internet for the latest Chaneycorp project he could ruin out of spite.

Emily is off and back without a problem.  She even got you favorite coffee...they were out of scones.

As you move around the lab cleaning and checking on items, you don't find any issues.  But, you do note that you are short on a few critical consumables.  And you always need glass test items.

[OOC] In character if you can, let me know how you stock the lab.  Chemicals, fuel (other than electricity..if anything is gas for heat maybe), food for Emily, etc.  Also, where does she stay?

Dr. Chimera - A Relaxing Night At Home

In reply to The Game Master (msg # 9):

"Thanks." he said, taking the beverage from her. Of course, it was difficult enough focusing to maintain a human voice-box and tongue. Trying to drink through said orifice would no doubt cause a reflexive shape change. He moved the cup under the table he was sitting at, and extended a incesctoid proboscis from between his pointer and middle right fingers, and drained the liquid. He would form a tongue to taste it somewhere in his forearm.

He hit the laptop and showed the list of chemicals he was sort of. "Need that...need that...need that..." He sighed. Normally over the counter chemicals he could order online and have them sent to a PO box under a fake name. However, some chemicals where not for easy sale. He might have to go to the dark web to get them, but that was risky. If things where really desperate, he would rob one of Chaneycorp's warehouse. He had no illusions what such criminals would do with such specialized chemicals. Of course, Emily often offered to buy him the materials they needed-but he only accepted if there was no way to trace the purchases back to her.

His goggles looked up into Emily's eyes. "It's getting late. I can set up your room for you."

Emily's Room was the nicest place in the entire HQ. He had set up flowers and rare plants, covering up all the rough dirt walls. Along with a spider-silk hammock he had made himself. From himself...but he did not tell her that. He also never told her how he got all that honey. He said it was not for human consumption-which was a lie. He just did not want to explain how he made it. As result, it had a mini-fringe with rather normal food. Along with a microwave and a computer which had a wall screen attachment where she could netflix herself to sleep.

Simon did not have a sleeping room for himself. He tried sleeping in a bed, but ended up peeling himself free from a cocoon every time he woke. His theory to why that was is a bit sketchy. His nightmares where fairly consistent, so his instincts was to protect himself from them might trigger this defense mechanism. As a result, he made a mess of any bed he tired to sleep in. That was just a theory however.

In terms of electricity and heating the place, that all came from more of his electric eel/giant crab transformations. It was painful having to rip off a part of himself and use it for power, but he grew back the limb in seconds. Again, he rarely told Emily the details of his freakish day-to-day life.

The next few days pass uneventfully; nothing worse the Emily's sing causes an issue.  Her over done dancing is funny.

"How can you see into my eyes like open doors?
Leading you down, into my core
Where I've become so numb, without a soul
My spirit's sleeping somewhere cold
Until you find it there, and lead it, back, home
Wake me up inside
Wake me up inside
Call my name and save me from the dark
Bid my blood to run
Before I come undone
Save me from the nothing I've become..."

When the show is done.  <Blue>"I've been thinking about what you said...about the job...do you think we could setup an alias?  It would help us get around, get what we need."<Blue>

On the fifth day, the need for a few chemicals and possibly a replacement for the flask set become evident when the next experiment you are setting up for will come up short.

Dr. Chimera - A Relaxing Night At Home

In reply to The Game Master (msg # 11):

Simon agrees to look into making her a flase identity. However, he could not make a perfect one. Sooner or later, someone would find a flaw. Which would make life difficult for her. She was better off without him dragging her down.

Everyday, Simon told himself...'today is the day. Today is the day I tell Emily to go home. To go back to her parents, to move out of the country or whatever it is she needs to do. To get on with her life and get the hell away from the freakish insanity that was his life. Yes, he might go crazy down here alone. But she would be safe.

Expect he did not. He watched her dance, he applauded. He felt the wish to dance with her, to feel her against him like when he was human. Which he tried at once to purge from his mind as impossible and dangerous.

But he could not ask her to leave. Instead he spent most of the time trying to make the ant like tunnels more attractive and less depressing for her. Mostly by spreading plants and flowers all along the walls, along with UV light of course. No sunlight down here.

Everyday he would emerge from his cacoon after another round of horrific nightmares and said to himself 'today is the day I send her away.' But he did not.

The lack of chemicals was a welcome distraction really. It ment he had to hit another Chaneycorp plant. Stealing from them was the least amount of damage he wanted to do. He really wanted to burn the whole place down, but that would hurt a lot of innocent people. They where innocent...even if they worked for the monsters of the Chaneycorp board of directors. If he said it to himself enough times, maybe would believe it.

"I'm going to have to get those Chemicals, Emily. So I need you to stay here and stay in contact. I will need your research skills and internet savvy while I am coming around for what we need." he then presented her with a gift...a spider silk dress he had made. Again, not telling her how he made it. The color dye he used was even from his own transformations.

Chaneycorp has a few facilities in Chicago, and two do store chemicals.  A third is a corporate office building.  A forth is a logistics facility (there could be any number if things there as trucks come and go constantly). They also have a chemical manufacturing site in the way south suburbans (next is corn field).  It is a subsidiary called Iovite Chemical, in Richton Park.

What is in any one location is unknown. Other companies and locations are currently unknown.

He starts with the closest warehouse. He will...'case the joint' as the parlance says. Moving around in one of his tinier forms to get a idea of the amount of guards at night. Then he could use some of his own tech to hack into their security systems and find out what they have. Once he knew what he wanted, where it was, and how to get it out and back to the HQ. That all depended on how much security there was and how many human guards there where...

ooc: The doc will spend a day or two just observing. He should be able to get inside and just move about in his hybrid spider wasp form. Which is the size of a wasp(shrinking 11 or 12...maybe 13.)

Because he need to be in his humanoid state to use his gadgets, he will make sure there is no risk of detection when that happens.

In addition to observing the above people and things you suggested, he will also check any online activity involving the warehouse in question. He will do some hacking in regards to the place.

Once he cases the security lay out, he can build some gadgets back in the lab specially for this security situation in mind.

While back at HQ doing his other tasks involving the theft, he will work on Emily's fake ID via online credentials.

Dr. Chimera - A Relaxing Night At Home

You fly through the facility attracting little to no notice.  At your size, and the whole area open to the environment, you find you are not the only insect.

You find or observe the following things.
1. Guards are in two hour shifts at the gates and the front of two interior buildings; a long 'storage' building and one office building.
2. Trucks come and go often.  The busiest time seems to be 10 AM/PM.  There are multiple depots that they go to within the facility.  There are UPS, FedEx and USPS trucks and vans throughout the day.
3. Upon entering the storage building, you find boxes, drums and interior glass-walled office (two people through much of the 24 hours); independent air and two computers.
4. The office buildings has multiple office and multiple computers.  Only one has guards at the front door.  The rear door has no handle.
5. The fence is chain link and barbed wire.  It is not electrified.  There are multiple cameras.  The guard shack at the front gate does have CCTVs.  The facility is well lit at night.
6. An Internet search does locate the facility, but you are not sure based on what intranet applications (very few; sales request, location information, technical requests, logistics requests) you find you'll be able to jump to the facility from their online presence.
7. You do notice that all the buildings have electrical, gas, and phone junction boxes.  On the roof of each is a set of antennae and dishes.

[OOC] If you want more details about any one thing, you will need to spend more time and make a few simple rolls.

Then use computer passwords to hack into the system and see if I can't set up a link into the cameras and other computer controls. once that is set up, I can plan to move chemical out by setting up a fake camera feed, thus the guards wont know anything is going on.

[OOC]  I tossed around what these bots would be and what their stats would be, but then I realized it really is not a big deal here and my thinking about it was getting in the way of the game.  So, let me say, if we are RPing and something like this doesn't/shouldn't cause a problem or have some limit on it, I don't sweat the small stuff.  I want to play and not pick nits.  I did make a few rolls to give me an idea on the time things take and IF anybody got a great observation roll.

[IC]
After a time and a movement in the placement the next night, you capture several passwords.  They have complex password requirements and a few people have multi-factor authentication...but not all.  You are able to capture the passwords for a few people that have access to the CCTV (security gate), a report system, and general PC access for a few people (none of them have local administrator access).  On day 2.5, your 'access bug' does allow you in and move latterly through the network from workstation to workstation. You do find that you hit a firewall or something whenever you test a server.  Their security is enterprise level.

[OOC] To avoid setting off alarms, I'll need 2 successfully computer hacking attempts, prior to 3 failures.  OV/RV - 7/7  If you decide to attack the servers or the inventory database, the OV/RV moves to 8/8.

I'll use a sliding scale (how poorly you fail tells me how the response goes).  Sound good?

Result of Roll - While going over the numbers, you see that the quantities are rather large for some of the rarer chemicals and they all seem to be going to another facility.  This facility, out near O'Hare, is not one that was on your radar before.  A few of the chemicals are the same as you are using, but some are not.  But, why so much is need is unknown based on what you find here.  These quantities could be rather dangerous; toxic and/or explosive.

Dr. Chimera - A Relaxing Night At Home

In reply to The Game Master (msg # 29):

At least he found out before the shipment happened. While his preparation here might be wasted, the O'hare warehouse might be precisely what he had been looking for. A Chaneycorp facility off the books. Thier literally could be a treasure trove of chemicals...and maybe even the crown jewels. Actual evidence of wrongdoing by the board of directors.

He had always been torn on what to do about them. He had wanted to murder them all...but that would not sit right with Emily. Not to mention he had never killed anyone before.

Of course...that was when he had been human. Doctor Simon Feck was no killer...but Dr Chimera? He had animal instincts involving so much bestial rage he could literally howl at the moon in his fury.

He had to focus. Just find out what was at O' Hare. Dont get his hopes up. Follow the math, the logic, the reason of it. Animals react with passion...humans think thier way out of a trap.

In reply to The Game Master (msg # 31):

When he planned to go out to O'hare, he told Emily to do as much online research on the address as she could. He did not think she would find anything, but she might get lucky. Besides, if she was looking online in the lair, she would not be poking around there in person. Which would be very risky.

As for Emily's fake background and IDs, he would base them on her own history, but with enough changes to make it believable. Maybe hacking and online collage to give her some degrees. Editing the history of a now closed high school so she could not be checked. Needless to say, it would be a downgrade from the brilliant scientist Emily really was, and it made her look a bit like an under achieving researcher.

However, if she did not like the idea, Simon would point out the whole purpose was to blend in. If all he did was give her the achievements she certainly had earned, she could also be discovered as her real self.

[OOC] The fake background and IDs will take some time to do, but they will be do able (with some supplies for the physical documents).  To put everything together with actual cards and all the supplemental items mentioned would be about two weeks (research, hacking, production, etc.).  It will be a two success/three failure check (the short hand for this style of check will now be a 2/3 check), with one check per week.  You tell me what you are using to do this (skill, attribute, etc.) and I'll check into a OV/RV.

On the investigation/theft at the O'Hare facility, give me some details on how you're getting there, what you are brining (if anything), and what you expect to do when there.  I'm working on details of the facility now.

[OOC] Fake ID - Using omni-gadgets for the creation of the paperwork and IDs will work.  The OV/RV will be 8/8.  This will need to be done second.  The investigation and hacking will have an OV/RV of 10/10 because of the detail and quantity of items that need to be faked.  Positive raps show success and dictate any OV/RV for an investigation into the background (hacking) or into the documents themselves (omni-gadget).  We'll need to add this to the character sheet.  Make sense?

[OOC]  I was looking at it if anybody did a search against the new persona that the 3 RAPs would be the RV/OV to the attempt to gain additional information or find a hole in what was done.  I have no issues with you doing that again, but since I said two weeks of time, you need to wait that long to 'judge your own work'.  Judging your own work is sometimes hard, but the result was low and you would start to find the holes in your own work.  Based on the fact you attempted once and now know more than when you first started, I would cycle down to 8 OV/RP.

[OOC] Sorry...my fault.

[IC] From the review of what constriction documentation you find (permits, narrative of changes, change logs, etc) you find that work to re-tool this facility was done by Rose Construction.  They are number three or four in size on the south side (Rose Construction, Rose Housing, Rose Concrete, etc.).  The GM for Rose was a Steven J. Smith.  The site manager for Chaneycorps was Alexander White.

You find the following two things of interest as you poor through emails;
1)  A David J. Farmer (Mid-West Regional Logistics Manager) and Larry Weldond (Facility Logistics Manager) seemed to have a long email conversation about three shipments that have little or no detail.  It is Larry Weldond confirming that things are on schedule and that things will go smoothly.  They talk about it, but never say what is in it, quantity or when.  This goes on for five day this week.

2)  A Micheal Green (sales) and a Jack Johnson (Mid-West Sales) seem to have made a big sale to a Black Lake Chemical, out of Cross Lake NJ.  The sale is worth sever hundred thousand of very caustic chemicals.  Based on you basic knowledge of non-organic chemistry, you know that there a few possibilities; explosives and industrial solvent.

From there, his lizard hound senses could find where the offices where, over hear the conversations track the scents to where the human staff where located. From there it was a matter of assuming another tiny flying form and locating his target's office.

He will need to machinaclly alter the computer, then plug in his own phone and hack the machine. Thus bypassing the office's local firewalls. Furthermore he will use this physical access to implant a virus, giving him future updates of anything Butters or his assistant do on this computer.

If course he will check for local security issues, such as cameras and the like. He knew a company like Cheneycorp had many secrets to hide, but they where not 100% sure of Doctor Chimera's existence. Even the police, who did not care for his efforts at all, thought of him more as an urban legend.

To cover the lens of the camera with silk will not be a roll.  That is done without much effort in a matter of a few minutes and you can then pull the blinds.

For the actual device for the computer, you'll need to define it for me and then roll verses a 7 OV.  This is a standard Dell system with no odd changes in hardware.  The higher OV is just for the difficulty of what you are doing (physically changing a live system and trying to get information).

The doctor sighed, after seeing the lack of emails. He was no full time hacker, but at least he got a entire copy of the database he could shift through. The temptation was to follow Butters home, drag him away and make him tell all the passwords the Doctor needed.

However, as much he hated the company the man worked for, he was not ready to go down that road quite yet. Maybe after a few more months of living like this...but not now.

In any case, he had uploaded the files to a remote website. Even if they tracked back his signal, he made sure to leave no digital fingerprints to reveal his lairs location. It was just one website which only he had access to, and he would make sure to delete it and take all the files he needed.

Of course, once he searched through that treasure trove, he would start releasing any particularly juicy bits to the press. Like many powerful corporations, Cheneycorp kept it's true intentions behind closed doors and private emails.

The doctor had no regard for the lawful collection of evidence, so he was sure Butters had seen or said soemthing in those emials that would help him, and damage them.

B) You find emails with an Alexa Moris-Thompson, the AVP of Security.  They have been discussion outsourcing security for a few locations.  One of the names for agencies rings a bell; Meta Specialists Inc.

Dr. Chimera - A Relaxing Night At Home

[OOC] Skipping ahead to the night of the shipment as the between days are calm.  Feel free to fill in any details you wish.

[IC]
On the evening of the shipment, a quick buzz around the place shows that it is packed with people.  And a lot more security (although not in the same uniform, they all are in uniforms).  A tanker and two box trailers are lined up and are in some process of being loaded.  There are 500 gal tanks being loaded into the box trailers.  There are various people walking around and watching the process, checking off lists (some have tablets and others have paper/clip-boards) and monitoring various gauges.

In reply to The Game Master (msg # 77):

In his tiny spider-fly form, the Doctor moves about the trailers. He pesters a few as a mere bug, but only in order to get a glimpse of the clipbords, tablets, and gauges to find out what is being moved. Not to mention listening in on conversations.

Dr. Chimera - A Relaxing Night At Home

[IC] You are swatted at a few times, but nobody comes close to actually hitting you.

[OOC]
A) You get that all of this load is going to the New Jersey location.
B) The quantities are huge, as some of these chemicals are rather expensive.
C) A few of the chemicals are what you would use, but the quantities much larger than what you would need in five years.
D) Things will be loaded in approximately 30 minutes.
F) You over hear one of the security guards say, "When does escort get here?"  Another responds with, "ETA on escort team is 15 minutes.  On schedule."
G) The security is not the standard 'rent-a-cop' type; these are more professional and packing more heat.  There are some, but they are not near the loads or monitoring the loads.  They are in other areas of the plant and watching the gate.

Dr. Chimera - A Relaxing Night At Home

In reply to The Game Master (msg # 79):

The doctor will examine the crates, checking each crate for its chemical contents. He would need to figure out what the corporation would be trying to do with each substance later, and possible mixing. However, he can leave a tracking device on the crates so he could find them later if they make off with them. He might actually just go with said crates and then explore this hidden warehouse with the advantage of being on the inside.

[OOC]  According to all of the paperwork that you have seen, everything is bound for New Jersey.  I would need to know what design of any tracking device or you will need to be prepared for a long ride.

It is not a problem to compare the packing lists, shipping labels and keep a general idea of what and quantities are currently (no roll needed...INT is high enough).  This, at your size, takes maybe 10 minutes.

[IC] The all of the loading goes as planned.  As time to leave starts to draw closer, the 'premium' security in the area draws a tighter circle around the trailers.

OOC-for now I will hold off on the tracking device. I will just move with the cargo as a bug, and wait until I am alone with the stuff to do something. I will be observing(as in the subskill) the security so I can tell what I may have to deal with in the future.

Dr. Chimera - A Relaxing Night At Home

At exactly as expected, the trucks finish loading, and a small convoy of four black Humvee roll into the industrial park.  One stops outside the gate and turns around.  Three pull in at the back and among the trucks, turning around as the do so.  The few security people that step out are matching the 'premium' security in garb and weaponry.  There are three new people per Humvee.  Then then start a process of securing each truck and passing the paperwork over.  This takes about 10 minutes.  Once done, the trucks start to roll.

[OOC] Fill me in on where, what and how you are doing things.  It is now 1 AM approximately.  The night is clear.

In reply to The Game Master (msg # 83):

Still in his bug form, the doctor moves to the outside of the crate. He will observe what is in the back of the truck, making sure he is alone and no video cameras are watching the chemicals. If there where guards or the chemical barrels where visible to the rest of the Humvee convoy, he could not change back to his humanoid form without detection.

Dr. Chimera - A Relaxing Night At Home

[OOC] There are no cameras that you see on or in any truck trailer.  The two closed trucks will be locked from the outside and they are starting that process now.  You can be inside the trailer and not be seen.  It will be locked, but in your form, you can get in and out (the trailers are not air tight).  The chemicals are secured to the walls by straps and/or bars, to prevent movement.  This also allows an average sized person to move around them without much difficulty.
