When you stand next to Ceres, you can see so much of downtown.  Looking up LaSalle, it just seems to go so far that the eye loses it to a ever shrinking speck.  The sky is clear; a few stars can be made out past the lights that are Chicago.  Where should I go today?

Matt Murphy was about to play the greatest role of his life. He was Kor Zor-el, last survivor of the planet Kalizan. He would be known as Paragon. The defender of truth and justice. Matt hadn’t quite worked out how to make this a paid gig, but luck favored the bold. Matt knee he was up to the challenge. He honestly didn’t have anything to lose.

Kor used his amazing vision to scan the city from atop the Board of Trade. He needed something iconic as his introductory outing. He’d love some kind of robbery or high speed chase. But a mugging or a rescue would be fine as well. He needed something that would attract the media, so he could make a proper introduction of Paragon.

He practiced his lines as he scanned, sure the whole thing would work out just as he had planned. He’d pull at their heart strings, telling his sad tale. They’d love him - they wouldn’t have a choice.

Now, what was out there?

Scanning the skies, Paragon sees nothing out of the ordinary from here.  There are sirens, there are always sirens.  These sound like they are around Lake Shore Drive.  There is no smoke...no gun shots close...nobody in the air...like him.  He does see the lights atop the Hancock Tower flickering.

[OOC] 1) I like the 'roll of a lifetime' attitude.  It is part Booster Gold, part 'a little crazy' and fun.  2) Hancock Tower is north of downtown by about a mile (the tallest one with two antenna in the pic).  You are currently in the heart of 'down town' or what is called 'The Loop'.  'The Loop' is the area that is encased by the L-tracks (see square area with the multi-colored tracks around it...https://www.transitchicago.com/maps/downtown/).

Paragon turns towards Hancock tower, seeing clearly the x pattern of the exterior.

”Looks like trouble at the Hancock!” he said to no one in particular. “I’d better check it out.”

Kor flew towards the north of town. He could fly fast enough to shatter all the windows in the city, so he slowed down, keeping it under the speed of sound but still getting to his destination in little more than the blink of an eye.
