Technically, he's using about 1/125th. of his Strength.  Of we go by maximum weight lifting capacity.

Ratling seems agitated and confused.  His ears are standing straight up and he is sniffing the air.  You can barely hear him talking to himself.  "Cops.  To many people with guns...."  He does not move from where he was beside the car.  The car has good dent in the door, but does not seem worse for wear.  The robot has moved a little to the left and is still trained on Ratling.  It buzzes and beeps.

As you were taking photos, he pelvis thrusts at you, but didn't flinch.  "No...he has no fucking clue, does he.  I thought the helmet would help you, but you're just too dense for that, ain't you 'muscles'.  You don't get it.  You're in over your skies.  Out of your weight class.  You have no idea who I am and how I'm not touchable by the likes of you.  You can shove that phone up your ass for all I care."

He isn't even pointing the guns at you any more.  They are just in his hands as he is talking; they are just an extension of his arms (a lot of body language).  Your swat, which is still stronger that him, knocks one of the guns to the ground (it isn't possible to get both).

He stands up bolt straight, with a crazy as smile on his face, "You seem me yet?  You know why I don't care about you yet?"  His arms are out to the side like he is going to chest bump you.

Now that you are this close, you realize his skin is not tanned, but copper tinged.  His eyes are a little bigger than a human's and have vertical slits.

He doesn't even fight and lets the gun go flying.  "Fame?  Oh...oh...you are clueless.  Holy shit you are so going to hate this in the end.  Wanta put cuffs on me too, Muscles.  That is what I'm going to call you from now on as that is all you are fuckin' good for.  Oh...my bad...'language'."  He says the last word in a high falsetto.  There is a sudden burst of clicks, beeps and chirps coming from the Robot.  "Oh no!  You better go get that!"

You see Ratling start to run at a good clip across the parking lot, toward the east (you are to the north of him by a 100 feet or so).

"The Police will be happy to cuff you.". Darren replied.  "I am certain there are several people who wish to speak with you.".  Not being super fast, Darren watches Ratling go.  He would find him later.  No sense loosing both to chase one.  "He will be apprehended later."

The police start to pull into the area from all sides.

The robot makes some clicks and whistles, and changes into a motorcycle and just starts to drive off zipping through the parking lot (fast...no rider), North-East-ish...which will take it off-road and through some green spaces before hitting a lightly populated area.

G Prime crosses his arms and just looks at Shield with a smirk on his face. "Gotcha bro.  Oh...and the cops won't be happy to deal with me and the mess in about two hours.  I won't even blame you for it.  This is a freebie."  He has a shit eating grin on his face.

"Terroristic threats will not help your situation.". Darren says, his voice firm.  He then turns towards the police, complying with their directives, but maintaining his rights as well.

The police come into the area hard.  A few do head east in the general direction of the robot and Ratling.  The scene is chaos for a moment and fire/EMS hold until the police have things controlled.  You, G Prime, and anybody left in the area (which is few), are segregated away from each other.  G Prime has a few more police around him than you do.  His attitude and demeanor is helpful and accommodating, but you still hear him being smart.  He keeps looking at you and smiling.  Soon he is put into the back of a squad, but not handcuffed.  He is secluded.  They have searched him, collected the two 'guns', and a few things off of him.

By now, the fire and EMS are everywhere.  There are only a few hurt and it is from the initial explosion of the wall.  Inside, people were scared and hiding, but nobody was actually hurt.

Office Johnson, who is with you, asks you for your statement.  [OOC] Go ahead and give me a paragraph on that.

"I was walking to deliver a lecture at (insert museum, zoo, or college name) when the wall of (insert building name) exploded and threw me across the sidewalk.  G-Prime over there emerged with a robot and guns drawn, followed by a bipedal rat that called themselves Ratling.  I quickly assessed the wounded, and called 911, then attempted to hold their attention and keep them from harming anyone else till you could arrive.  They both physically assaulted me, and I was forced to defend myself.  Ratling ran (insert direction), while G-Prime eventually ceased aggressive action and you detain him.  G-Prime did threaten that in approximately two hours something would occurs that would make the police upset with him.". Darren gives his brief, factual statement to the Police.

Concern is on the face of the office as you go over what happened.  The wall to the Tinley Park Convention Center, where you talk was to be this afternoon, has a large hole and the office keeps looking at it.  While you are talking, you hear over the radio that the 'robot bike' and Ratling are at large.

"I'll need your best description of both the 'robot' and Ratling.  Did it identify itself as Ratling?  Who caused the hole in the wall?  How were you assaulted?  I do not see any bruising.  Are you hurt?"

When you make the remark about the 'two hours', he does ask for a Sargent to come over.  "Anything else you can give me on the two hours?"

"They identified themselves as Ratling.  I have sent pictures over to 911.  If you have a number I can send them to, I will send them there as well."  Darren responds.  I do not know who caused the explosion.  I was fortunate enough to avoid injury by luck.". Indicating his torn clothes, he continues.  I did recieved a cut from Ratling, but managed to deflect and avoid most of G-Primes' assault."
G-Primes' statement on the two hours was"Gotcha bro.  Oh...and the cops won't be happy to deal with me and the mess in about two hours.  I won't even blame you for it.  This is a freebie.""That is all I know about that.  I was to be delivering my lecture on the opposite side of that wall.  However, due to the damage and the crime scene it will have to with be rescheduled, or relocated.  Which would the Police advise?"

The police officer takes copious notes and listens to everything you say.  The sergeant watches you and watches the car where G Prime is being interviewed.  He seems to be saying freely.  "I don't know what will happen here yet, but we will have to have the building inspected and get it cleaned/sealed.  So you don't know who/what caused the explosion.  So the wall exploded out...you were out and G Prime was outside...Ratling came through the hole, inside to out.  Is that correct?"

Over the radio, which the officer has been adjusting up and down to pay attention to communications, you hear "Concealed carry permit check needed."

"I do not know if G-Prime was inside or outside of the building.  He was getting up from the rubble when I first saw him.  Ratling came through the wall chasing him.  He had "made fun of " Ratling, and Ratling was angry.". Darren replied.  "I do not know who or what caused the explosion.  The robot with G-Prime is armed with some form of cannon, and can transform into a motorcycle."

The sergeant tells the office to check with any of the inside reports of when 'Ratling' was noticed and if anybody saw what started this in the first place.  "I can't see how something like that was running around inside the hall and not noticed.  And who the hell is goin' make fun of it, if it was."  The office keeps taking notes as the sergeant talks.

"Are you sure you don't need to be checked out?  The EMS are here and you'll need to sign or confirm for them anyway."  He is cool and controlled.  Not all of the police are that way right now.

The officer speaks up, "You were outside and never made it inside, correct?  Where is your car?  And who can confirm your attendance?"

There are a few more questions, but they slow down and eventually allow you to go, once you confirm that don't need any additional attention.  This has taken about 30 minutes or so.  As you look around, you see the following things;
- G Prime is still in a police cruiser and handcuffed.  He is not causing any issues.
- There are now news trucks setting up outside the police zone.
- Ratling nor the robot return to the area.  Listening in to talk gives you the impression that a search is still on-going.
- There is property damage, but only minor injuries (the worst sounds like a broken leg that occurred when the wall exploded out).

"Apparently G-Prime made fun of him." Darren replied to the officer.  "Thank you officer.  I will see the EMTs next.". He continues.  "I never made it inside the building.  My lecture is scheduled with the Convention Center, you can confirm that with them.  I took public transit to station, then walked.". After the questions are done, Darren texts his host to determine whether the lecture should be rescheduled or relocated.  He walks over to the EMTs, allowing them to examine him briefly, before declining further care.  Once free of the investigation, and the host responds, he sends a text to the adherents updating them in brief on the situation of the lecture.

You receive confirmation that all lectures have been cancelled for the day as the building inspector is required to look at the wall.

The EMT finds nothing wrong with you, but still gets your explicit denial of need noted.

The number of police has increase in the time you've been here.  The SWAT Team stands down.  The fire department is there hosing down the concrete and area to control the dust.  G Prime is driven away in the squad car.  He gives no resistance.  The search in the adjoining area does not discover the robot or Ratling.

You have no reason to believe the police think you are any more than a bystander in this situation.  They do thank you for your help and calm head.

"It's what Joe would have done."  He responds to the police.  Then he walks away, headed towards the shopping district.  Taking a train back towards the geographical center of the city.  There, he sits at the station for a few hours, waiting on G-Primes' threat.  This time, he would find a place to hide and assume his Alter Ego.  Neither G-Prime, his associates, nor Ratling were getting away with harming innocent people this time.

G Prime is more of an ass here than he was way back (my character from the 80's).  Then he would have been like working with Axil Rose; needy, swearing, drinking, smoking (cigars) and superior (a.k.a. Guy Gardner).  So my comment from a few posts back was appropriate.  Now, with some things that have happened, he has gotten worse.  :)  He is an anti-hero.  I will add to the description of him.

Note, You are ABSOLUTELY stronger tho....

The news about the incident is extensive (video, on scene reports, helicopter footage), but they don't give names or numbers yet.  They are reporting a 'fight between meta-humans' and 'few people hurt with none seriously'.  The police have not done a full news conference by the time you are downtown and sitting.  They have warned people about reporting 'anything strange' and 'not to approach any feral animals'.

Sitting there, you have some time to think and remember a few items about G Prime from back when he was with the Northern Guardians.
- He never fit in fully, but was a useful member of the team.
- When defending everyone from an attack on their sea platform, he was the last man standing.  There had been robots and a cyborg that had attacked.  He used deadly force to stop cyborg (some points desperation and some points 'law of the jungle' attitude), killing it.
- He is an alien and lets people know he isn't human (part of his superiority complex...or if alien it isn't a complex, but fact?).
- He was a martial expert, weapons expert and extreme pilot (his capacity on the team centered around various weapons, vehicles and things he built/repaired).
