Knight Wolf Primary
Dean loved to work on new ideas, designing gadgets and even working on a focused task like researching and computer manipulation. Left to his own devices, he’d probably spend days on end doing such things and simply loosing himself in it. But he was smart enough to know too much was just not healthy. And with a simple set alarm, he set up a cut off point.
And, truth be told, he really DID enjoy putting on the suit and leaping around town. While he might deny it, the thrill of excitement and adrenaline was a siren call as well. And so, when his alarm blared, he set his various tasks aside and headed for his armory stand. Stepping up, he keyed the command prompt and stood still as the armor assembled itself on him in very short order. By the time he walked up to the transport pad, it was fully charged and waiting to go. A flicker in the air and he was standing on the roof of a high rise.
He accessed the police channels as he oriented himself. With nothing much going on, he programmed in a route to take him through some of the hotspots in the area. Unless he came across something unexpected, he wasn’t even remotely concerned. Still careful of course, but far from concerned. Given his defensive cloak and ranged ability, combined with planning and skill, there was little that was likely to be of any threat. Bullets would likely still be quite dangerous. But hitting him was another story altogether.
He came across a couple minor crimes; a mugging and a corner drug peddler or two. Nothing of note and certainly nothing threatening. Knight Wolf simply had them pinned before binding their hands and feet. For the few instances where there was more than one threat, he had to toss some people into a wall or pole or something to disable them and whittle the numbers down. Once trussed up, he made the appropriate police call, forwarded along the edited video as proof before continuing on his way. It pressed upon him a need for a more offensive weapon system or two however. Just one more thing to work on.
Knight Wolf did encounter one jewelry store robbery on his way home that took a bit of effort to tackle. It was notable in that the thieves had scored quite a lot of valuable gems and jewelry. He made sure it was waiting to be picked up by the police along with the evidence he forward to. The prospect of finding wealth such as this, and potentially keeping it, held no interest for him at all. His pocket change was worth more; the perks of wealth. Nor did he even want to be seen or recognized for his actions. He did not want that kind of attention.
Still, it was a fun evening of diversion. A bit of excitement, some suit testing. All in all a good evening. Afterwards, he needed to get some sleep. Tomorrow was a new day.
