You do not find more information on Chura than what you already have found.

You find that;
a) the museum has not hired Chura yet,
b) they do have temporary security staff supplement when needed and this is a SOP,
c) and the head of security is a LeRoy Bradley and they have 3 full time security staff.

Can I put in a kind of notification in their system that wouldn't get noticed?  ie if his picture get loaded as part of the temporary security, I'll get notified.  If so, here's a roll for htat:

20:18, Today: Knight Wolf rolled 16 using 2d10 ((7,9)).

He'll go out and do another patrolling thing on Sat night but don't think we want to rp that; can just sum up.  Any issue, he immobilizes and detains for authorities.

Beyond that, dinner with mom, maintenance and gadgeteering work.

The system does have alerts that can be set, but they are basic (email only, event triggers on new applicants and updates to files).  You could sent an email address in the system for an alert, but if anybody looks it would be obvious.  To do something more sophisticated would take some time.

[OOC]
Go ahead and give us a 'Knight Wolf on The Town' solo adventure.  :)  As long as it doesn't affect another player, you would be good.  You could even make you nemesis...Day Fox(?)...Fool Bear(?).  :)

I'd like to take said time.  I'm rather smart & skilled and can use tech to speed process up through Interface I'd assume.  But this way I don't need to sit there and watch the place.  Will just get an alert, even if he's a temp/contracted out security.

Heh, no nemesis I think; for now anyway.  This is just a minor night out/testing suit.  And those are HORRIBLE names for a nemesis!  I'm ashamed for you!  ;)

But I'll put something together.  Gimme a day or two to write something up.

Dean loved to work on new ideas, designing gadgets and even working on a focused task like researching and computer manipulation.  Left to his own devices, he’d probably spend days on end doing such things and simply loosing himself in it.  But he was smart enough to know too much was just not healthy.  And with a simple set alarm, he set up a cut off point.

And, truth be told, he really DID enjoy putting on the suit and leaping around town.  While he might deny it, the thrill of excitement and adrenaline was a siren call as well.  And so, when his alarm blared, he set his various tasks aside and headed for his armory stand.  Stepping up, he keyed the command prompt and stood still as the armor assembled itself on him in very short order.  By the time he walked up to the transport pad, it was fully charged and waiting to go.  A flicker in the air and he was standing on the roof of a high rise.

He accessed the police channels as he oriented himself.  With nothing much going on, he programmed in a route to take him through some of the hotspots in the area.  Unless he came across something unexpected, he wasn’t even remotely concerned.  Still careful of course, but far from concerned.  Given his defensive cloak and ranged ability, combined with planning and skill, there was little that was likely to be of any threat.  Bullets would likely still be quite dangerous.  But hitting him was another story altogether.

He came across a couple minor crimes; a mugging and a corner drug peddler or two.  Nothing of note and certainly nothing threatening.  Knight Wolf simply had them pinned before binding their hands and feet.  For the few instances where there was more than one threat, he had to toss some people into a wall or pole or something to disable them and whittle the numbers down.  Once trussed up, he made the appropriate police call, forwarded along the edited video as proof before continuing on his way.  It pressed upon him a need for a more offensive weapon system or two however.  Just one more thing to work on.

Knight Wolf did encounter one jewelry store robbery on his way home that took a bit of effort to tackle.  It was notable in that the thieves had scored quite a lot of valuable gems and jewelry.  He made sure it was waiting to be picked up by the police  along with the evidence he forward to.  The prospect of finding wealth such as this, and potentially keeping it, held no interest for him at all.  His pocket change was worth more; the perks of wealth.  Nor did he even want to be seen or recognized for his actions.  He did not want that kind of attention.

Still, it was a fun evening of diversion.  A bit of excitement, some suit testing.  All in all a good evening.  Afterwards, he needed to get some sleep.  Tomorrow was a new day.

Knight chuckled softly to himself at the officer's mutterings.  He made no move to correct the man though.  Knight wasn't doing this for any kind of acknowledgement or recognition.  Sending the information to the detective would suffice; admittedly the reason was to make sure any crimes committed would stick.  But that was neither here nor there and little more than a passing thought as he headed home.

Later that night after returning, Dean spent a little time putting the finishing touches on his communication encryption and systems.  It was long overdue and needed to be finished before the next phase of this work could continue.  He ran it through a few checks before getting the Detective an update of the recent patrol.  Poor fellow was going to come back from a weekend off to even more work and questions.

Signing off for the night, it was time get a little sleep.

Dean woke up the next morning feeling fairly refreshed.  Laying there, he took a little bit to check his messages, news and such like most people in the world.  The topics were just a bit different.  Given he wasn't one to just lay around, the reading was fairly brief before he got up and took care of his morning routine.

A quick shower to clean off and Dead was headed to his lair.  He had about an hour of prep work to do before a couple of quick jaunts about town.  Afterwards, he got changed back into more normal 'Dean' attire.  He figured he should put in a few hours of pretend work to help certain projects along and the like in order to maintain his fiction (and getting those project leads moving with a subtle nudge or two).  After lunch, he could get back to his real work.

He'd barely gotten out of his armor but that was easy enough to remedy.  He typed up a quick reply.
quote:
"Of course Detective.  I be available to meet you at the impounded vessel in 30 minutes."

That would give the Detective just enough time to get there but not plan any kind of funny business, if that was even an intent.  Knight would of course be there and quite hidden in about 5 minutes.  He quickly donned the armor and stepped on to the pad.  His other work would have to wait it seemed.

As you sit and watch the boat, a blue VW Passat pulls up and a single man gets out.  He is average height, gray/brown hair and in a suit jacket.  He starts looking around the yard and the boat as soon as he is out of the car.

Knight leapt and floated down to land on the opposite side of the car.  Deactivating the cloak, his armor became visible after a moment.  "Good morning, Detective," he greeted the man politely.  "While it is nice to meet you in person, you asked to meet.  what can I do for you?"  He let the armor continue it's scan.  While he did not expect anything to go amiss, it was simply good practice to remain alert.

He did see you coming at all and jumped when you finally became visible.  He didn't go for his gun; you can tell he stopped himself. "Sonabitch."  He is a little jumpy and a little angry.

He settles a little, "I need to know where you're getting your information.  Did anybody ask you to do this or give you any information?"

"Apologies.  I was trying not to startle you."  Knight tilted his head slightly as he quirked an eyebrow (not that the detective could see it).  "My information?  It comes from a variety of sources I suppose.  Some from the department itself, some from other avenues.  But no, no one asked me to do this.  I simply saw the news about the robbery and decided to investigate further.  Once begun, it was merely following logical paths of investigation.  I am...possibly more skilled at this task than most I suppose," he added.  He paused a long moment.  "Is there a concern?  Besides working with someone like myself, with no connection to the government or police department that is."

"Ah, right.  I forgot to send you the update with the most recent information.  Let me fix that," Knight remarked as he started the process of doing just that.  "The pair who robbed the museum have been involved in a number of robberies of remarkably similar materials in recent past.  This was the first where their efforts were thwarted, supposedly."  He paused a minute as he finished compiling the information for the Detective.  "I say supposedly as these two almost certainly aren't working either for themselves or alone.  The target materials are suspicious of course and we're not entirely sure what was taken or why from this museum or the other robberies.  In additional, I found evidence of a guard at the museum, dressed as a security guard.  According to the ID, he'd been hired as a temporary guard.  I have yet to interview anyone so I can't verify his hiring despite the ID.  He came to my attention and suspicion as, with a little digging, I found records of him being where he shouldn't have been.  Specifically spying on Mindstrike and the administrator she was speaking to just after the robbery.  The information I dug up on him is...suspicious but haven't had time to pursue."  He shrugged one shoulder almost apologetically.  "I just sent you everything I have on the case, minus the specific technical aspects of my equipment of course.  I also sent most of this to Mindstrike, who I'm meeting tonight, yesterday as well."

As you talk, you note a change in his demeanor.  He also starts to take a few notes on a pad of paper he pulls from the car.  When you say Mindstrike, he shakes his head.  When you say there is more information on the way, he also nods his head.  "Wait...let me get this straight...there is a ring of people stealing Nazi paraphernalia?  Like who would do that...Neo-Nazis?"

"Ring?  Unknown.  A buyer?  Almost certainly.  My current hypothesis is whoever is behind this is looking for some specific.  Just not entirely sure what.  Perhaps some lost military work or base?  I just don't have enough data.  Which is why the guard as well as the last untouched museum is a bit more essential."

"As I said, it is a theory.  In the previous robberies, not every Nazi relic from World War II was taken.  Not even the most 'valuable'.  Given the rather limited and specific items that were taken, this indicates a more specific purpose behind the thefts.  I was simply supplying possibilities but being clear that I had no certainty as to why."  Knight shrugged one shoulder.  "I do not ask you to agree or even believe me.  I have sent you all the information I have on this.  Make your own conclusions.  What I do know is there is only 1 museum with similar relics that has not had a robbery yet and that there is a mystery temporary guard, who should not have been where he was, spying on a museum administrator and one of the two heroes involved in thwarting the 2 meta-criminals.  And that last museum happens to be in the same town as the last."  It seemed a fairly likely conclusion to Knight but the detective had a little catching up to do though the man was welcome to do his research.  "I imagine you'll want to verify the information and double check the facts.  I forwarded you everything to help speed that process up in order to not waste what I consider to be valuable time.  But draw your own conclusions from the information.  It has already been several days since the robbery after all."

Knight shrugged his shoulders, unconcerned.  "We live in a world where godlike beings walk casually down the street every day.  Far fetched is a matter of perspective.  Regardless, it's just a possibility.  One worth pursuing."  He rattled off the name of the museum as well as the suspicious guard's name.  "I sent all this to you just now as well for your records.  I would recommend a delicate touch.  To my knowledge, this fellow doesn't know I'm on to him.  Nor do I have any positive proof of a crime on him, except for the false information on his identity.  Just a lot of suspicioun and coincidence."

Nodding in agreement, he gave a quick answer.  "That is the intent.  She was involved in the battle and capture of the other two so it seemed fitting.  And given her public persona she was easy to track down in order to contact her."

When you mention 'delicate touch' he seems to ruffle a little.  "I'll see if there is anything we can do for the holocaust museum.  I'll also see what we can find on our possible thief.  I'll look at what you sent.  I appreciate it, but realize if I have to, I'll toss it for legal reasons and need to ask you more questions."  He fixes you with a critical eye when he says this.

"If you get anything else, I'll take it."
