Still waiting on a reaction from Moondragon.

Iceman
US Agent
Moondragon
Machine Man
MSDOS
all have actions available.

I'll nominate Machine Man, but really anyone can go. If you want to nominate someone after your post, go for it.

All reactions are in!

Iceman, US Agent, and Moondragon have actions available.

So does MSDOS. I will probably take his turn tomorrow or Monday.

Re: The Sidekick Lounge (OOC)

I've lost track of what's going on. We were in combat, many of us with individual opponents, and now there's a barrage of missiles. Are we (me and Moondragon, at least) supposed to take an action for the round or are we all reacting to the missile volley, or both, and are we still fighting out opponents one-to-one?

Re: The Sidekick Lounge (OOC)

You're still in combat.

US Agent is still duking it out with Soviet Super Skrull (SSK), basically one-on-one.

(Crazy) MSDOS fired a missile volley at EVERYONE, including both you and SSK. So I need a reaction for that.

Then you also have an action pending. You can continue to go solo on SSK or you can expand/switch opponents. SSK, Alpha Flight Skrull, and MSDOS are all still up.

I need a reaction from everyone versus the missiles.

Re: The Sidekick Lounge (OOC)

Just want to give yall a chance to throw in PP if you don't like these outcomes before I finalize.

Machine Man. Your 4 vs. MSDOS's 20 total means the effect will step up 3 times. That'll take the d6 to a d12. You could at least bring that down to a d10 if you spend a PP to add your third die to the total. Final PP would be 0.

USAgent. Order of operations is important for this one. I always resolve the attack first. So we figure his 20 vs. your 15. That's extraordinary success for him, so it steps up his effect die to d8. Your d8 effect won't step that back down because it's equal. That's less than your current PS, so it would step up one to d12. You could bring that down to no effect if you spend 2pp to keep extra dice (getting your total to 24). Unless the doom pool is hulking, I buy opportunities, so I would buy the one from your reaction. You then have 2PP available when you attack, which would let you retain what you wrote. You'd end up with 1PP and no additional PS.

SG: Seems like d6 PS is ok with you, so I won't make any suggestions.

Moondragon: 20 vs. your 14 reaction would be an extraordinary success and step up MSDOS's physical stress on you to d8. You have 3PP before the reaction roll, so you could spend 2 to keep all four dice and take no damage. That would leave you with 1 going into your attack. You could spend that to get your total up to 14 on that attack with a d10 and a d8 effect dice. I am going to buy all three opps in one batch so that's 1PP back to you (and d10 to the doom pool). You'd end with no change to your PS, a decent attack and 1PP.

I guess I better spend that point...

I’ll spend the 2 PP to avoid damage.
I’ll spend 1 PP for the 14 damage.

Let's do this instead: I'll take the d8 Stress and spend a PP to convert it from Physical Stress into Mental Stress. The U.S.Agent is getting flustered by all this going on and it always hurts to see such disloyalty, even in the bad guys. So that leaves me with 1 PP, right?

And thanks for the clarification on the order of operations. I always seem to miss that, and it's certainly important.

You'll end up (after your action) with 2PP in that case.

Re: The Sidekick Lounge (OOC)

There's a GM-less MHR game starting in case anyone here is interested.

link to another game

It might be more accurate to call it everyone-gms if I understand the intent correctly. I've always been interested/curious about whether such a model could work.

Re: The Sidekick Lounge (OOC)

Phew! Lots of stuff to resolve there. Next post is up. You're whittling them down, but you're all also taking some lumps here. I took an action for Soviet Super Skrull, but giving initiative back to you guys. Can you finish them off before they get another attack???

Remember to check the status thread and use their existing stress/complications against them when you react and attack. I actually forgot to just do that to USAgent, but I'm not going to retcon.

Re: The Sidekick Lounge (OOC)

I'm getting back on track after some swerves to my holiday & weekend, and my reaction & action for this is on my dashboard but it's too late tonight. I plan to get on it soon, but in the meantime, if anyone else wants to jump in to take their action, and if our Watcher is cool with keeping this going, please go for it. I'll be back shortly.

Re: The Sidekick Lounge (OOC)

Aaaaalright! I edited my last post to include MSDOS's Physical Stress, which I totally forgot, and changing the next player to Armadillo, the only other PC who hasn't acted yet. Wanna give us more chances to drop the Director before his turn comes up. Armadillo, I choose you! :D

Also, five ones. Five of them. Bloo bloo bloo.
