Here it was, the big day. The day you and your partner would be sent out to protect the city in case of monster invasion.  For now though, you had school and you had just arrived at the school gates. The rest of your colourful classmates swarming around you as well.

Eliza checked her bags again to make sure she hadn't forgotten anything and walked through the school gates. She had her her tied up in a coiled braid, and her new uniform still felt a little uncomfortable. But despite that she bubbled with excitement she was her, living her dream.

Muttering to herself "Gotta make good first impression". She stepped through the gate, and glanced around trying to orientate herself without looking lost.

"Well, look who it is," Candice said as she was leaning against one of the school walls.

Eliza jumped slightly as the voice called out to her "Who-" she said as she turned "Oh hey Candice, ready for the big day then? " she asked as she gave a quick wave to the other girl.

"Of course," Candice said with a big smile. "A bunch of the older girls have been telling me all kinds of weird stories about what's out there."

"They're probably just messing with you, you know scare the newbie stuff" Eliza said with a matching grin "In sure we'll make a big splash with our first patrol" she added seemingly brimming with confidence "Just gotta get through the school day first"

"Some of it did sound pretty freaky though," Candice said,

Eliza clocked her head "Oh, like what?" she asked

"There was this one monster type they were telling me about was like this ten foot tall giant person, except it didn't have any bones . It oozed forward to move, leaving this gross bloody trail and could be really fast," Candice said.

Eliza nodded "Okay... That did sound pretty creepy. But I'm sure we won't run into anything like that right? They'll probably only call on us somewhere boring and safe to ease us in"

"I hear we got a pretty plum spot to protect," Candice said. "Like 'get your autograph book' good."

"Seriously?" Eliza asked an undercurrent of excitement tingling her voice "Come on spill, you can't hold back on me after that"

Candice stepped forward.

"I hear we're going to be in the area right next to the Star Guardians," Candice said.

"Seriously?" Eliza said with a huge grin on her face "That's awesome, I so have to get thier autographs, this is going to be so cool" she then sighed "School is going to drag today isn't it"

"Maybe we'll get lucky and get an alarm during class," Candice said.

"Oooh, now you're talking" Eliza replied with a chuckle "Speaking of Class, any idea where we are meant to be first?"

That was when the bell rang.

"Come on, I'll show you," Candice said as she took off running.

Eliza chases after Candice "Hey... No fair, wait for me"

*Time passed and it was now lunch time*

Eliza groaned as the lunch bell finally went "I thought that was going to go on forever" she grumbled "what sort of monster puts Maths just before lunch time?"

"So, how's it going?" Candice asked.

"I survived" Eliza replied "Don't suppose you'd lend me your notes later? I tried to keep up but.. You know how it goes"

Candice laughed.

"You must be desperate then."

"If we don't keep our grades up, they don't let us fight" Eliza said "Maybe I can bribe you once we get to cafeteria" she suggested as they walked.

"Okay, but they aren't great," Candice said.

"gah... Why couldn't I get partnered with a genius of somekind" Eliza said in a tone of mock sadness "Well beggars can't be choosers" she added with a sigh "Maybe the food here will make up for my disapointment"

"Hey! Not cool!" Candice said.

The food did look good. Today was spaghetti with meatballs and a salad.

"Come on Candi, let's get food while we still have a choice of space" Eliza said as she filled her plate "This food looks not bad, better than my last schools food at least"

"Fine, fine," Candice said, grabbing a tray and some food before hurrying over to a table.

"So what do you think of school so far?" Eliza asked as she ate "it's more normal than I was expecting" she added as she glanced about at the other girls in the cafeteria.

There were many other magical girls in the cafeteria and it was soon packed.

"It's fine. I mean, it's still school. Though there's supposed to be more magical girl related classes in the afternoon," Candice said.

"Be good to see what everyone else is capable of" Eliza said "Maybe they might get some of the older girls to show us something, that would be so cool"

"Like what? I know we're gonna be awesome," Candice said as she ate.

"Hell yeah we will be" Eliza said with a laugh "We'll be the ones in magazines before long for sure." she considered the question for a moment before replying "Guess I just want to see whose here and what they can do"

"I'm pretty sure that every magical girl in the city is here," Candice said.

"Okay you got me there" Eliza agreed "so we've got a bit of time left before class. Any where you want to check out?"

"I don't know," Candice said. "What were you thinking of?"

"Just seeing what there is, really" Eliza suggested "New School and all"

"Might as well. Where do you want to start?" Candice asked.

"Sports fields then? Be good to see what teams they have" Eliza suggested

"Let's go," Candice said.

You arrive at the front gates where several trolleys ready and waiting ti take the girls where they needed to go.

"Let's see.. Which one is heading ready" Eliza murmered as she looked at the destinations of the Trolleys "Looks like that one right Candice?" she said indicating the trolley in question.

"Let's go," Candice said as both of you got on.

You both were able to get a seat and several other of the girls were talking excitedly amongst themselves.

Eliza sat fidgeting for a a few minutes trying to calm herself down, then leaned over to one of the other younger looking girls "Your first time out too?" she asked them.

"Yep!" said a girl with watermelon green hair said.

"Same here, can't keep myself calm. To excited and nervous" Eliza said "Oh I'm Eliza by the way and this" she gestures ar Candice is "Candice"

"I'm Mary and this is my friend Shauna," the girl said.

"Nice to meet you both" Eliza said "Where have you been asked to go to?"

"It's on the north east side. Do you know where that vegan sandwich place is?" Mary asked.

"Vegan Sandwich place.." Eliza mused "I think I know where you mean" she said "we've been sent to.." she trailed off and looked to Candice for the answer.

"More to the east, by the warehouses," Candice said.

"Yeah, there" Eliza said "whar are your powers like?" she asked "I've got a sword and shield thing, and a bit of healing"

"We both can shoot out magic beams and I can teleport and Shauna can put down these explosive balls," Mary said.

"That is so cool" Eliza enthused as she lent forward a bit "Think you'd be okay showing me some time? Maybe ask some questions about range and stuff?"

Mary looked over to Shauna who nodded.

"Okay, maybe sometime," Mary said.

"Awesome" Eliza beamed at the answer "Of course I'll show you my stuff as well, fair is fair and all that" she looked up to see how many stops till she had to get off.

It was coming up soon. Another two or three stops.

"Looks like we're almost there" Eliza said as she noted the stop they were approaching "Good luck to you both, and hopefully we'll run into each other at school and can swap stories of how awesome we were"

"Good luck!" Mary said as you and Candice got off.

"Guess we better transform and get ready" Eliza said and took a deep breath "We've got this right?"

The ride back was certainly interesting, Candice did get over her nervousness to ask a few questions of the trio here and there, but soon enough you were back at the school grounds.

"We'll see you around. It was nice meeting you," Star Twilight said.

Eliza waved goodbye to the star Guardians "Nice to meet you as well" and then when they were out of ear shot she pumped her first in the air "Today was awesome" she said to Candice "I almost think it's all been a dream"

"Yeah, it's been great," Candice said.

"It really has" Candice said still smiling "Before we go, mind if we check on May and Susan? I want to see how they did"

"Sure, if we see them," Candice said.

After a bit of looking you did find them, they were sleeping under a tree in the courtyard.

"Looks like they are unhurt at least" Eliza said in a soft voice so as to not disturb the sleeping girls "Guess they had a busy time of it as well"

"Yeah, I know that feeling. I'm exhausted," Candice said.

"It's been a busy day" Eliza agreed "We should probably head home and get some rest ourselves" she stepped away from the sleeping girls "I suppose we should probably wake them up, not the best place to sleep"

"Okay, might be a bit risky though. Who know how safe this is," Christy said.

"It will be fine" Eliza said as she called across to the sleeping girls "Mary, Shauna" she moved a bit closer "Mary, Shauna time to wake up"

Mary woke up and looked up at you.

"Huh? Oh, I guess I fell asleep."

"Sorry for waking you, but it's probably not the best place to sleep" Eliza said "You okay?"

"Just really tired after all the fighting," Mary said.

"I bet" Eliza said nodding in sympathy "It's a bit different actually fighting to all the training they had us do, have you got far to go to get home?

"Not really," Mary said, giving Shauna a shake to wake her up. Who looked aorund confused and signed something to Mary who signed back.

"Oh sorry, I didn't realize" Eliza said turning to face Shauna "I was just checking you were okay, I thought that sleeping on the school grounds maybe wasn't the best place"

Shauna signed something to Mary.

"She wants you to know that she's mute and not deaf," Mary said.

"Ack.." Eliza said with a groan "Really sorry Shauna, I jumped to the wrong idea"

Shauna shrugged and nodded.

"So did you two run into many monsters? We ran into some crow things and a deer thing" Eliza asked.

"We got a bunch of were gooey things. Like slimes from some rpg," Mary said. "Only not cute at all"

Eliza nods "Cool, it's werid how many different monsters there are isn't it? Candice was telling me earlier about some that she had heard about"

"Yeah, it's kinda scary," Mary said.

"It is a bit" Eliza agreed "But we did it, we went out and won, that feels like something wwoeth celebrating" she added with a sudden yawn "But maybe we should think about that tomorrow"

"We'll see you later," Mary said with a wave. Shauna waved as well.

Eliza waves cheerfully to them before turning to Candice "Think it's time to head home" she said with a lazy stretch "Starting to feel a bit tired"

"Sounds good. I'll see you tomorrow," Candice said.

"Yeah see you tomorrow" Eliza said with a wave as she headed home.

After a couple of trolly rides you arrived back home. IT looks like you beat your dad home. The place is rather quiet.

Eliza opens the door and steps in "Dad?" she calls out and waits a moment for an answer "Guess he's not home yet" she mutters to herself "Better change, then see about dinner"

You heard the front door open.

"Are you home, Eliza?" your dad asked.

"Hey Dad" Eliza called from her bed room "Got a back a little while ago, how was work" she asked as she came out of her room.

"I heard the alarm and thought you might be in the need of a little treat, so I picked us up some Burger Queen," your dad said.

Eliza gives him a hug "Thanks Dad, that will be really good" she said with a smile "You'll never guess who I ran into today while I was out on guard" she said as she headed for the Kitchen.

"Who?" your dad called out as he was washing his hands in the bathroom sink.

"Only the Star Guardians! They were so cool Dad" Eliza enthused "Candice and me got to talk to them and everything. They even said they'd get us tickets for their next concert"

"Wow! I guess that means my girl's gonna be a big mover and shaker in the magical girl world," your dad said.

"You better believe it" Eliza said as she sat down "Candice ane me are going to be the ones people want all the merchandise of"

"ust as long as you don' forget your dear old dad when you make it big," your dad said.

"Nah, would never happen" Eliza said with a smile "Was everyone on the farm okay?"

"You might think a chicken is cute. They might look it and the taste great as burgers, but they are the most evil things short of monsters," your dad said.

"Really?" Eliza said as tucked into her burger "I'll make sure to keep an eye out for any wondering about then" she said with a chuckle.

"It certainly makes sure things aren't boring," your dad said.

Eliza nodded with and yawned "Opps sorry was a busy day, fighting takes it out you"

"You can take it easy tonight," your dad said.

"Thanks Dad but can't leave everything to you we're a team after all" Eliza said

"Are you sure? You did just have a big day after all," your dad said.

"I'm sure" Eliza said her head beginning to droop a bit as she yawned again "Nothing is going to stop me" she said her voice trailing off.

You felt your dad picking you up and suddenly it was the next morning..

"I don't need to sleep" Eliza said as she sat up and glanced around at the familiar surroundings of her room, posters of famous magic girls like the Star Guardians looked back at her from the walls.

"Ahh... Must of fallen asleep" she muttered as she got up "Better get ready for school I suppose" she added then a short while latter she slipped into the kitchen washed, dressed and hungry.

Your dad already had a breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage and toast ready for you.

"Ooh that looks good" Eliza said as she sat down to eat.

"I wanted to do a nice big breakfast for my girl," your dad said.

"Thanks Dad" Eliza said as she ate "Will you be late home today?"

"Probably, there's a lot of feed we need to bring up from the lower levels," your dad said.

"Okay, I'll make sure to have something in fridge for you then. Meatballs in tomato sauce good?" Eliza asked as she finished eating.

"Sure, we got some sub buns left if you want to make a meatball sub," your dad said. "Have a good day at school."

"Will do dad, hope you have a good day at work" Eliza said as she gave him a hug and headed to school.

And when you arrived at school, Candice was waiting for you at the gates.

"Hey Candice, ready for a new school day?" Eliza asked waving cheerfully.

"Hey, have you seen the Guardians yet?" Candice asked.

"Nah, just got here, why?" Eliza asked.

"Just kinda nervous about the tickets," Candice said.

"We got a bit of time before class, wanna go look for them?" Eliza suggested

"Sure, where do you think they'd be?" Candice asked.

"Umm. Could check the seniors class rooms I guess" Eliza suggested after some thought.

"That makes sense and I'm an idiot," Candice said.

When you get there, Star Glimmer was at one of the desks, reading something on her phone.

"um... Hi" Eliza said as she approached the desk dragging Candice with her "Do you remember us from yesterday?"

"Who are you again?" Star Glimmer asked before laughing. "Nah, sorry, I'm just kidding. You're here for the tickets, right?"

She held out a pair of them for you and Candice.

Eliza laughed "Thanks" she said as she took the ticket.

"No problem," Star Glimmer said. "I'll see you around."

"will do" Eliza said before rurning to Candice "Come on we've probably got just enough time to get to our class room before the bell"

"Right," Candice said and the two of you barely made it on time.

It was now after school. The magical girl training classes were pretty hard.

Eliza grinned tiredly "Okay that was a bit harder than I expected"

"Yeah," Candice said. "I just realized we never looked to see what kind of tickets they gave us."

"Oh yeah" Eliza said "Let's have a look then" she added as she pulled out her ticket.

The ticket was for front row centre.

"Wow" Eliza managed after a moment "Pinch me to check I'm not dreaming" she added as she showed Candice the ticket.

"Oh, wow. This is real, right?" Candice asked.

Eliza nodded "Looks real to me" she said "This is going to be awesome"

"Yeah, wow, my mind is blown," Candice said.

"The concert can't come soon enough" Eliza said still grinning.

"It's only a bit longer!" Candice said. "This weekend!"

"Wanna hit the shops after school tomorrow then? " Eliza suggested "Figure it's something worth looking good for"

"Sure, tomorrow would be better anyway, I have to watch David tonight," Candice said.

"I've got to cook. So works out for both of us" Eliza said "How's the squrit doing?"

"Being a pain in the butt, like usual. At least stories about the monsters get him to listen to me," Candice said.

"Well next alarm will give you new stories to scare him with for sure" Eliza said with a laugh.

"Nah, it's more like he suddenly seems to respect me like a little brother should," Candice said.

"Either works" Eliza said "Guess we'd better get going then"

"Yep! See you tomorrow!" Candice said with a wave.

And so it was the next day, after class.

"Ready to hit the shops?" Eliza asked.

"Oh hell yes!" Candice said.

"Then let's go" Eliza said as they headed for the trolley to take them to the shopping district.

And so you arrived at school, all the other girls piling out and running for the school.

"Guess we better run" Eliza said to Mary "Ready?"

Mary nodded and ran out.

Eliza charged after her, running for the welcome shelter of the school.

"Look who made it," Candice said as soon as you got inside.

"Missed me already, did you?" Eliza said jokingly.

"Oh, just terribly," Candice said.

"Good to hear" Eliza said and nodded in the direction of outside "Lovely start to the day don't you think?"

"I like the rain," Candice said. "Just not when I have to go out in it."

"You've cursed us now" Eliza said "If the alarm goes off its because you said that"

"Oh please," Candice said, "Like that'd happen."

"Yeah, you're probably right" Eliza said as they headed for the classroom.

And soon classes were done for the day.

"Thought lessons were never going to end" Eliza said as they left the classroom "Giving us double science to end the day is just cruel"

"Yeah, I'm gonna head to the mall again. You wanna come?" Candice asked.

"Sure" Eliza said "Wanting to get the high score today?"

"Maybe," Candice said.

Soon enough you arrived at school.

Eliza glanced around trying to spot Candice before she headed to class.

Candice was waiting for you in the hall.

Eliza waved as she spotted Candice "Hey, how are you?"

"Okay," Candice said. "We have interview requests for after school."

"Not surprised" Eliza said "Guess we better plan how we're going to handle them"

"Is running an option?" Candice asked.

Eliza laughed "It's not going to be that bad" she shrugged "Well probably not"

"I don't know, I've never dealt with them," Candice said.

"I've never either" Eliza said "Maybe we could ask one of the Guardians for some tips?"

"That sounds like a plan," Candice said.

"Okay we'll do that then" Eliza said "Think we've got time before class"

"Let's go!" Candice said and soon you were outside the 12th graders' class. You go inside and the three Star Guardians were standing by a desk, chatting. They didn't notice you.

Eliza took a deep breath and approached the Guardians "Hi, Do you have a few minutes. We need some advice" she gestures to herself and Candice "And we were hoping you'd be able to help"

"Oh hey, the newbies! What can we do for you?" Starlight Glimmer asked.

"Well you see, we were sort of involved in some events yesterday" Eliza explained "The stuff with the Dark Magic Girl, and the press want to interview us.. But we don't have the first clue how to deal with it. We were hoping you could give us some pointers on how to handle the interviews"

"The press, huh?" Starlight Twinkle said. "They're pretty easy to deal with. They don't give young magical girls anything other than softball questions. Stuff like what happened, how did you feel during it, after it. That kind of stuff."

Eliza glanced at Candice "That doesn't sound too bad" she said "How did you feel first time they interviewed you?"

"Really nervous, but it wasn't as bad as I thought," Starlight Twinkle said.

"That makes me feel a bit better about it" Eliza said "If you all felt nervous, then I don't feel so stupid for being nervous"

"Yeah, don't worry about it," Twilight Shimmer said.

Eliza nods "Thanks" she looks across at Candice "You good?"

"I'm good," Candice said.

"We had better get going" she said "Thanks for the advice"

You made it back to class just in time when the bell rang and soon it was over.

Eliza sighed in relief "I'm glad that's over, you would think they could cut us some slack on the homework at least"

"I know! This suuuuucks," Candice said, stretching across her desk.

Eliza nodded in agreement "So when are the interviews scheduled for?" she asked Candice.

"Fifteen minutes in the media room," Candice said.

Eliza nods an pales slightly "Right got it... Got it, we've got this right? After facing down a Dark Magic Girl, how bad could it be?" she says with a faint laugh.

"The Guardians said it shouldn't be a big deal," Candice said.

Eliza nods "I know, I know" she said and took a deep breath "Okay, we got this"

"Okay, you go first and I'll follow," Candice said.

Eliza sighed then nods "Okay, guess I'd better get going then" she said and headed for the Media room.

"Hey! Hold up!" Candice said, chasing after you. "I was kidding!"

Eliza grinned and stuck her tounge out "Better keep up then" she said.

Candice stuck her tongue back, but kept up with you until you arrived,

Eliza took a deep breath then knocked and opened the door to the media room.

There was a woman in business attire setting on the side of a table facing the door as you enter.

"Good afternoon," the woman said.

"Good afternoon" Eliza said feeling nervous again "You wanted to to talk to us, Ms?" she asked.

"Green. I take it you're Eliza and Candice?" the woman asked.

Eliza nods "That's right, I'm Eliza, this is Candice" she said introducing them both.

"Sit down, please," Ms. Green said. "I brought some pop and cookies. I want to make this as relaxing as possible for the both of you."

Eliza sits down and helps herself to some pop "Thank you, it's the first time we've been interviewed. So it's a little overwhelming" she said.

"How have things been for you two? I understand that both of you haven't been going out for very long?" Ms. Green said.

Eliza nods "We've only been a proper team for about a week I think" Eliza said looking to Candice for confirmation "It's been busy, getting used to being out dealing with monsters, new school and classmates, but we've been lucky and we've got the support of the older girls" she added "To be honest it's still all sinking in"

"That's good. I understand the first few time can be overwhelming," Ms. Green  said. "How have you been finding it?"

Eliza considered the question for a moment "Exciting, frightening, amazing. Lots of different things. It's amazing to have these powers and know I can make a difference, protect people. But at the same time, fighting the monsters can be a little scary. You never know what sort of creature you could run into" she quickly outlined the different creatures she and Candice had fought.

Ms. Green nodded.

"I know this might be hard, but I'd like to talk about the dark magical girl attack," she said. "What was going through your head when it started?"

Eliza cast her mind back to that moment "I was shocked, she just appeared out of no where and declared we needed to be punished, then attacked someone. I was moving before I really thought about it. I knew that she had to be stopped, that we had to protect everyone, no matter what"

"Okay, let's talk about the actual fight itself. People were very impressed that rookies like the two of you managed to do so well," ms. Green said.

Eliza nodded she wasn't really sure how much to share "It wasn't really much of a fight. We traded a few blows back and forth" She reflexively touched her shoulder "We scored a few minor hits but nothing too serious. But it kept her distracted" she explained

"Then I kept her attention on me while Candice got everyone out as quick as she could" Eliza continued "she wanted to talk, so I let her... " she stopped remembering what happened "Then she died"

"Ah, I see. That was still quite dangerous though. You are brave for even attempting that," Ms. Green said.

Eliza looks a bit uncomfortable at the praise "I guess, but at the time I was just focused on keeping her attention away from everyone. So she wouldn't hurt anyone else. So I wasn't really thinking of the risks I was taking"

"You still did good work," Ms. Green said. "People are alive that wouldn't have been if you hadn't been there."

Eliza finally nods "Thank you, hearing that means a lot" she said.

"Not a problem," Ms. Green said. "My older sister was a magical girl when we were both younger."

"Your older sister was?" Eliza asked "What was her name?"

"She went with the name Hard Knuckle," Ms. Green said with a chuckle. "She liked to punch things."

Eliza grinned a bit "She sounded cool" he said "So ahhh.. Does that cover everything you wanted to ask us?"

"Well, I'd like to hear your partner's version of events, so you can take it easy," Ms. Green said.

Eliza looks abashed and sits down giving Candice a thumbs up.

Candice seemed much more nervous than you, but she managed to get through it, and didn't mention anything about what really happened with the dark magical girl.

Eliza smiles and nods at Candice, before turning back to Ms. Green "Thank you. I think we both worried that would be a lot more intimidating than it was" she said looking a bit sheepish "So ah.. What happens next?"

"Well, now I write this up and it'll appear in tomorrow's newspaper," Ms. Green said.

Eliza nods "Cool, I guess we'd better get back to class then" Eliza said looking across at Candice "Unless you want to ask anything Candice?"

"No, I'm good. You wanna go do something? Like visit one of the other shopping centres?" Candice asked.

Eliza nodded "Yeah, sounds good" she said a slight feeling of unease passing through here.

"Thank you for the interview," Ms. Green said.

Eliza smiles and nods "Thanks for being gentle with us" she said as she waved bye.

You can see Ms. Green wave as you leave.

Eliza let out a sigh of relief "That wasn't too bad" she said "But I'm glad it's over"

"You did fine," Candice said. "i'm kinda worried though."

"What about" Eliza asked as they walked.

"Just in general, I was really nervous," Candice said.

Eliza gave Candice a quick hug around the shoulders "You did fine" she said "you answered the questions really well"

"Um, thanks," Candice said. "You've been a lot of help."

Eliza blushed slightly and looked embarrassed "Well, you know, what are friends for"

"Yeah, I know, but I haven't had a ton of those," Candice said.

Eliza looked a bit worried "Well... Ummm" Eliza began "You've got them now right? You've got me, Mary and Shauna. I think no matter what we'll be here for you"

"Yeah, I know, just feeling kinda sentimental all of a sudden," Candice said.

Eliza nodded "Okay, as long as you're good. Because you know you can always talk to me about anything that bothers you"

"I am, not everything is about my depression," Candice said.

Eliza stopped "Depression.." she looked at Candice "Sorry, I didn't realize... Ummm" she floundered for a moment "So shopping centre right?" she said as they approached the trolly stop.

And so you arrived at school, with the clouds threatening to rain.

Eliza looked up at the clouds and then decided to run inside.

When you get in, you see Candice at her locker.

"Hey" Eliza called as walked over to her locker "More rain it looks like" she said with a sigh.

"Yeah, but it's the sleepover tonight," Candice said.

Eliza grins "Don't worry not forgotten, it's going to be fun"

"Yeah, it's been a while since you've been over," Candice said.

Eliza thinks for a moment and nods "Yeah it has been, hasn't it. It will be fun"

"Right, so movies all night then?" Candice asked.

"Sounds like a plan" Eliza said nodding

"I think we should pick up some food after school," Candice said.

Eliza nodded "Good idea, if we're binging some movies we're going to want some popcorn"

"It only makes sense," Candice said as the bell went.

Eliza nods again the takes off towards the classroom "Come on or we'll be late"

And so, the hours passed and soon school was done.

Eliza hummed cheerfully as they headed towards the school gate "I thought class was never going to end, they just kept going and going"

"That's school everyday though," Candice said.

Eliza shrugs "I guess? But it felt worse today"

"Well, it is the sleep over tonight," Candice said.

"So to the shops then" Eliza said cheerfully "We need to stock up"

"What do you want to get?" Candice asked.

&Eliza thought for a moment "Well we're going to be watching movies right? So chips, popcorn and Soda"

"Makes sense, but I want something gummy too," Candice said.

"Gummy works to" Eliza said leading the way "Let's get this sleepover started"
