Here it was, the big day. The day you and your partner would be sent out to protect the city in case of monster invasion.  For now though, you had school and you had just arrived at the school gates. The rest of your colourful classmates swarming around you as well.

Eliza checked her bags again to make sure she hadn't forgotten anything and walked through the school gates. She had her her tied up in a coiled braid, and her new uniform still felt a little uncomfortable. But despite that she bubbled with excitement she was her, living her dream.

Muttering to herself "Gotta make good first impression". She stepped through the gate, and glanced around trying to orientate herself without looking lost.

"Well, look who it is," Candice said as she was leaning against one of the school walls.

Eliza jumped slightly as the voice called out to her "Who-" she said as she turned "Oh hey Candice, ready for the big day then? " she asked as she gave a quick wave to the other girl.

"Of course," Candice said with a big smile. "A bunch of the older girls have been telling me all kinds of weird stories about what's out there."
