"What do you want to do first?" Candice asked as you arrived.

Eliza felt a little on edge memories of yesterday's events still painfully fresh "Why don't we see what new merch is in?" she suggested "Been a while since we've had a chance"

"Sure, and look, it's a different shopping mall," Candice said.

Eliza nodded "Yeah, might mean it has some different stuff in stock" she said finding herself warily scanning the crowd as they walked.

The people in crowd seemed like the normal crowd you'd expect and soon you were at the merch store.

Eliza began to hum a few bars from the Guardians latest song to distract herself as she entered the shop.

The shelves were full of many, many different kinds of merch. Up front were new Guardian statues, new boosters for the magical girl ccg and stickers.

"Wow they really do have a lot" Eliza said to Candice as she looked at the items "I've read some spoilers that there is some good cards in the new block" she said indicating the boosters "it's going to change the meta again" she then giggled and added "Wonder if they based a card off us what it would be like"

" i don't know. Probably nothing too great," Candice said. "We haven't done too much yet."

Eliza nods "Yeah I know, was more looking to the future" she replied grabbing some boosters, and stickers "Think these are a new set"

"I think I could challenge Rainbow Skies for most powerful magical girl in the game then," Candice said and stuck her tongue out.

Eliza laughed "I bet you could" she said "Reckon they might have merch of some of the older MGs? I was wondering what Hard Knuckle was like"

"Did you say Hard Knuckle?" the shopkeeper asked.

Eliza turned and nodded "Yes, we met her sister today. So I wanted to fin out a bit more about here"

"There's nothing really new for magical girls over a decade retired, but I got some pieces in my private collection in the back. I'll bring a couple out since you look to be paying customers," the man said as he headed to the back.

Eliza looked cheerful "Thanks" she called after the man "This could be cool" she said as she nudged Candice.

"Do you think they looked really different back then?" Candice asked.

"I guess? I mean hair styles were really werid back then" Eliza said moving her hands around her head "Like really floofy"

The man returned with a collector's statue and a sticker book. Hard Knuckle had a page boy hair cut and blue hair. She had a a blue and white sweater vest, with long sleeves that were rolled up, a skirt and blue fingerless gloves.

Eliza giggled slightly "Her hair was a bit goofy, but she looked tough" she said as she looked at the sticker book.

The sticker book had  many different stickers of her. Some were in a realistic style, some had her as a chibi.

Eliza nodded as she looked through the book "Thanks" she said as she handed it back.

"No problem," the man said. "So, what can I get for you two?"

Eliza hands over a few booster packs and some of the stickers "Just these for me" she said "Getting anything?" she asked Candice.

"Just this," Candice said, putting a booster pack on the counter.

The man rang up your purchases.

Eliza nodded her thanks as they left "What next?" she asked Candice.

"You want to get some food?" Candice asked.

"Food.." Eliza said "Sure, let's go" she added trying to sound cheerful. It's just a food court she thought to herself perfectly fine and normal.

"What do you want to get? Some sandwiches, noodles, burgers...?" Candice asked.

"B-Burger, sounds good to me" Eliza replied "Sorry guess my throat is dry"

"Is this gonna be too hard for you?" Candice asked quietly.

Eliza shook her head "I don't know what you mean" she said her worlds sounded hollow even to her "I'm fine"

"You can't fool me," Candice said.

Eliza sighs awkwardly "It was worth a shot" she grumbled "I'll be okay, I think" she explained "It's just.." she shrugs "In the back of my head there is a little voice that keeps saying, it's the same as yesterday. It's silly I know but I can't stop it"

"Do you just want to grab something and eat outside? Would that help?" Candice asked.

Eliza eventually nods "I think that would be easier... Sorry"

"Okay, so, what do you want?" Candice asked.

"I was serious about the burger" Eliza said managing a smile

"Do you wanna wait here and I'll go get it?" Candice asked.

Eliza looked pained for a moment "I'll stay here if its okay" she replied.

"I'll be back," Candice said before returning about six or seven minutes later.

Eliza nods her thanks as she takes her burger "Thanks, that smeels good" she said.

"There should be some tables outside of the north entrance," Candice said.

"Then let's go see" Eliza said

As you walked out the doors, you could see a small area with tables to the right.

"Looks like there are a few tables" said Eliza as they headed over already feeling calmer now they were outside.

Candice took a seat.

"I'm sooo hungry," she said as she dug in.

Eliza sat down and unwrapped her burger and took a bite "This is good" she said around a mouthful.

"Yeah, the do good fries too," Candice said between bites.

Eliza nodded in agreement as she ate feeling relaxed now "You know with everything that's been happening almost forgot, we've got the Guardians concert to look forward to. It's going to be good"

"Oh, right. It's really soon," Candice said.

Eliza nodded "Hard to think it's only be a few weeks really. So much has happened" she said as she ate.

"Yeah, but now we have a concert in a couple days and we can forget about that for a bit," Candice said.

Eliza grins "Yeah, be good to just dress up and be just two girls having fun"

"We should do a sleepover after," Candice said.

"That would be fun" Eliza agrees "I'll check with my dad that he's okay with it"

"Should we try doing it at my place or yours?" Candice asked.

Eliza considered for a moment "How about we do it at yours?" she suggested.

"Mine?" Candice asked, a little shocked. "Sure, I'll get it cleared by the concert."

Eliza shrugged "Thought it would be a change of pace, besides I've not been over in a while" she said

"Yeah, it won't be a problem," Candice said.

"Cool" said Eliza as she finished her food "That burger was good, but I'm stuffed now"

"You were sure scarfing it down," Candice said.

Eliza looked a little embarrassed "Guess I was hungry" she said.

"it's okay, I'm not going to judge you," Candice said. "Too harshly..."

Eliza laughed "You're too gracious" she said "US tank types need to keep up our energy"

"I suppose," Candice said. "That's one way to look at it."

She then stuck her tongue out.

Eliza took a drink of her soda "I'll add that to my list" she said in a teasing tone.

"How big is that list now?" Candice asked.

Eliza gave a mock glower "Long enough.." she said "When the time comes you'll learn"

"What time is 'when the time comes'?" Candice asked.

"When I enact my revenge" Eliza said grinning impishly.

"I'm not scared of that," Candice said.

Eliza tried to keep a straight face then giggled "Of course you're not" she said "What do you want to do next?"

"I think I want to see this revenge list," Candice said.

Eliza shrugged "Sorry it's classified" she said "Maybe another time"

"Bah, no fair," Candice said. "So, maybe we should catch a movie?"

Eliza smiles at Candice's comment and the nods "Sure, sounds good to me. Bound to be something good on"

"I'm not sure what's playing, so if you know something good, you pick," Candice said.

Eliza nods "I think that new Comedy is on" she suggested "The one with the talking Dog and Cat solving crime, but the human takes credit so everyone thinks he's this amazing detective"

"Sure, I'm in the mood for something goofy," Candice said.

"Cool, if you're almost finished we can head over and catch the next showing" Eliza said.

"Let's go!" Candice said.

And so you were in front of the movie theatre.

Eliza headed into the movie theatre "My treat" she said as she bought tickets for them.

"Thanks, big spender," Candice said.

Eliza laughed as she handed Candice her ticket "Let's go then"

You found seats easily enough and the movie was really pretty cheesy as far as comedies go.

Eliza was still giggling as they left "That was pretty good" she said to Candice "What did you think?"

"It was pretty good," Candice said.

Eliza nodded "Something silly was just what I needed"

"That's good," Candice said.

Eliza nodded and checked the time "Guess we should get going" she said regretfully "It's getting late"

"Yeah, I guess you're right," Candice said. "i'll see you tomorrow then."
