For those that are in and looking at starting your characters, and if you haven't done so already, I need a character name. I'd also like a little background. It doesn't have to be a multi-thousand word essay, but something that we can play with and flesh out as the game progresses would be nice.
For inspiration, look at the history thread and see how much detail I've added there. Enough to get by with, but I haven't included names, dates or anything really detailed. I will be adding to it as the game progresses, and if people have ideas that they want to contribute (for example, the name of a dwarf hold that fell to the goblinoid incursion, or a great battle that was fought and created the name of a great hero, that sort of thing).
As I keep saying, this is as much your game as it is mine. If you feel something isn't working I'd rather a PM sooner than later so we can resolve it and get everyone back to enjoying the game.
