Re: (OOC) Out of Character Discussions

In reply to Birahu (msg # 15):

Ray's Chaotic Good, but he's a pragmatist.  Spent a lot of time around adventurers during his training, and learned a thing or two about what works, what doesn't, and what you really shouldn't fuss over.  If making dead people dance furthers good in the world, well, that's gross, but...!

That being said, he's got a few points in Survival, and a fishing net!  So you can fix us up things like fish or shellfish, and eventually teach him how to cook outside of "well, cook it until it's kind of... oh, boy, yeah, well, that's cooked, alright".

Might take a little issue with the undead raising, but only in the momentary sense. Go for it

Re: (OOC) Out of Character Discussions

I'm doing that "Cleric who isn't devoted to a specific deity" thing.  Picked up Good and Travel for Domains.  Ray's more of a follower of a "philosophy of good" than he is of Fharlanghn.  He's cool with priests of deities, though, unless you're asking him to tip back a tankard with a Cleric of Gruumsh or Hextor.

Oops, no trap trippers with you, oh well, I'll raise you when you die priest! ;-) Mwahahahahahahaha! LOLOL So much for that.

I was going to follow the mad god Zagyg, but chose Mok'slyk, the World Serpent of the Elder Brethern. Mok'slyk taught magic to Vecna!

Yes. My stuff, mostly. I can lend you the use of my mule in a shared capacity if we're in the same party though. Payment plans can be discussed.

Mule is 8gp and a pack saddle is 5gp then. Turn a quarter of a pound of gold into a place to keep your stuff

Edit: I see you did that, good stuff

Re: (OOC) Out of Character Discussions

Boy, there are a lot of Clerics, here!  Since I'm not The Lone Cleric in this group (I cut my teeth playing B/Ex when I decided to experiment with Editions.), I might multi-class into Ranger, later-ish.

I'll chip in for the mule, too.
In parties with a pack mule, I like to buy extra water, food, "other", and ammunition for everyone.  And since Raymond's a good guy Cleric, it's totally a "Raymond" thing to do.

Ammunition: Ray's sling bullets are heavier than all get-out, I don't want Patches to have to carry all that!  ...he'll move over to cross bows, eventually, just give him an adventure.
Food: How's two extra rations per person?
Waterskin: An extra waterskin or two, just in case one of ours breaks?
Other: Torches?

Roy's got about... 11 Gold left.  He'd have more, but, well, he saw a GoFundMe for someone who knits sweaters for baby White Dragons and doesn't understand White Dragon biology, and, well, you know how it is.
