They led her to a warehouse that... well.  It was being used for a wide range of barrels.  Some were corroded, some were damaged.  Nothing too horrible was leaking at the moment, but there were several barrels that were clearly fresh, and one was laying on its side.  A tiny hole in it was leaking something that was blue-green and faintly iridescent.

Mao carefully approached the leaking barrel to take a sample.

She got a sample.  It almost seemed to pulse and move...

...also, on the side of the barrel was some kind of optical code box, the kind of thing that you scanned for shipping information, and sometimes even ownership of the product.

Mao set the sample down and took out her phone to scan it.

No identifying corporation was present, but there was a shipping route.  This came from somewhere in the Inner City; it wasn't a location that meant anything to Mao.

"Does this site mean anything to either of you?" Mao asked the two men, holding out her phone.

"No," said the more talkative one.  "We just picked up the cargo when it arrived at the docks."

"Okay, I'll need you two to keep people away while I go investigate," Mao said, heading off to try and find someone to analyze the chemical and contact Enrico incase she needed to head to the inner city.
